WRL Season 5 - Player Releases

First topic message reminder :

If you want to release players that you are struggling to sell to other clubs, you can release them for half their current value on the release players page.

Simply post the players here with a reasonable value and I will accept or reject them. If your not sure, list the players and I will get back to you with valuations.

To sign released player, bid on this page a reasonable amount (usually double the released price.) I will then accept or reject the bid.

If the bid is made before 4pm, I will respond at 8pm that day. If made after 4pm, I will respond the next day at lunch.

My releases (and bids for released players) will need to be approvedby one of the assistants.

Please make sure you confirm all releases on the confirmation page.

Can somebody else check, think these are a little low. VH was on verge of Aus squad before injury. Be looking at 18m in foreigns at least.

I thought mine were really low as well to be honest, but was scared you would impose your ban!

Its never half of their real worth in releases anyway is it? Always realistically much lower.

I know about VH, but I think that the others are definately too high, not exactly household names!

I think Myler is rated higher than Van Humphies and he fetched 8. I think Bathites prices are more realistic, but somewhere in between would be fair.

Pooly - it may be my ignorance but I haven't heard of any of those players. I don't think they'd have any ratings in this league - £1 mil is better than keeping them!

If G.Whitelock was £5m and Lam is a seasoned Super Rugby player and was one of the few Hurricanes to have a good season in 2011

4m for a player who hasn't played rugby at the top level or even regularly at prem level, I don't think so. much better players and s15 regulars reach 4-5m

Monday 1/4 final
Wednesday semi final
Friday - final

Winner gets 8 pts
Runner up 7
3/4 gets 5
Everyone else gets 3
