Fergie's 26 Years

It's been done before but what is Fergie's best team since he took over from Atkinson 26 years ago?

He's had a few decent players to say the least. Here's mine!

Any team for me would have to be under Fergie's most trusted formation, 4-4-2, while it's changed in recent years, for the majority it was the tried and tested formation that took Manchester United to the peak of English football and kept them there.

I'll go for this team

Can't argue with this. For me any Fergie XI has to include Giggs, Cantona, Schmeichel, Keane & Scholes.

Hard to leave out players like Robson & Vidic - but would you really drop Keane or Scholes for Robson? I think they've both contributed more to Uniteds success than Robson did initially. The only player you could possibly make a case for including would be Rooney in place of Ronaldo, and thats only really based on the longevity of his United career and the importance of him to the team since Ronaldo & Tevez left.

Ruud gets in because he's my favourite ever player.
