Jay Lethal released from TNA?

Hes been removed from the Roster page.

Great talent, and a real shame they let him go - always enjoyed his matches.

Possibly heading to WWE and FCW?

Seems to be spreading fairly fast though.

If this is true then it's a little bad but let's hope he gets the opportunity to go to somewhere like WWE or even ROH.

I'm gutted if this is true.

He was getting a really good push when Flair first joined...then they dropped him back down in to obscurity.

Good performer. Could we be seeing Lethal Consequences in WWE?? Decent tag team to bulk up their flagging division.

He'd be worth taking a punt on for WWE.

If the worst comes to the worst they can team him up with Consequences Creed again and call them Mini Cryme Tyme.

When I first started to watch TNA, he was probably the guy who got me interested - it was right at the start of the Flair FEUD (!). So much charisma and you could tell he geniunely loved doing what he did at TNA.

Like DT said, I dont understand why he got dropped back into obscurity - a real shame.

Hopefully WWE pick him up, ROH will no doubt take him if they dont.

Flair wasn't there to put Lethal over though, Lethal because of his talent in impression was used to get Flair TV time

It has been confirmed that Jay Lethal has parted ways with TNA Wrestling. His profile was removed from the organization's website Wednesday night.

Details regarding his departure have yet to be disclosed.

Lethal's departure surprised some people within TNA. One company source who was on hand for this week's television tapings was not aware Lethal was leaving the company.

Lethal worked Tuesday's iMPACT! television taping after competing in the X Division Ultimate Xscape Match at TNA Lockdown.

Lethal has been sparingly featured since dropping the X Division Championship to Kazarian in January at TNA Genesis.

Maybe he requested it?

That is really rather disappointing news. He hasn't been used well at all recently though...so if it was requested I'm not surprised.

Reckon WWE will go after him then? Or would he be better off with a spell in ROH for a bit?

I think he'd do well in ROH...but I'd love to see him in WWE. Not sure exactly where he would fit in there though.

I say they get him back purely so he can induct Macho Man in to the HOF while doing his Black Machismo gimmick.

I can but dream...

Team him up with JTG and repackage them as Harlem Heat under the guidance of Booker T.

Unless Booker's bringing the team back himself alongside Awesome Kong.

Lethal would fit right in in WWE, I'm fairly certain he'll get signed and used for comedy like Charlie Haas was.

Rejoining Creed (Xavier Wood in FCW i think) or a tag team with Shelton with him as the mouth piece would be fun.

Can also imagine he'd have some good matches with Bryan.

I'd like to see him with Creed. I like Lethal Consequenses.

He's been at ROH before and he was excellent there so I really don't see why they wouldn't take him back. The WWE are about to do a draft so you never know, he could be one of the guys to a fill a gap after they've FE'd have the roster.

To be honest if Lethal goes back to Ring of Honor I can see him being rehired by TNA in much the same way Christopher Daniels was brought back.

Speaking of Daniels, has he been released yet? He's been there about 4 weeks now so it's about time.

While I am sad that my time with TNA has ended, I am looking forward to this next chapter of my career. Oooooh yeahh! Now taking booking.

So was he released or did he walk? There are rumours that he wasn't happy with how he was booked at Lockdown and walked.

I wonder if WWE are sending out any feelers to TNA talent? It's at a time like this I'd be getting word out that there's a spot in WWE waiting for them.

Do you think there would ever be a TNA locker room revolt? I mean half the roster is getting treated like utter rubbish and the only guys getting any decent time are RVD, Ken, Sting and the two stables.

After I posted the question of whether others could follow Lethal out the door in protest, I thought about it and came to conclusion that they probably wouldn't. There were reports that AJ Styles and Samoa Joe were peed off when Christopher Daniels was released but that was as far as it went. Maybe if they knew they could go to WWE and not be jobbed out it'd be a different story.

I actually wish they would walk out, would seriously give the company a hoof up the bum if half their roster was planning on walking out. Samoa Joe is another who has been treated like rubbish since Hogan/Bischoff came to power.

And to answer your question about Daniels; I think he is still at ROH. He is the holder of their TV title, so whether he is scripted to loss it so he can leave for TNa I am unsure.

Lets hope we have another Dixie Carter addressing the ROster segment.

It would definitely give them something to think about. I think it would take something monumental for Styles or Joe to go though, I mean it's been reported that Vince wanted to sign Joe up with the sole intention of burying him to show the world that he wasn't as good as everyone was making him out to be. I'm not sure if they've shown any interest in signing Styles since he turned down their developmental deal years ago.

But WWE would be crazy not to try and get in touch with guys like Morgan, Hernandez, Beer Money, MCMG, Crimson etc. because you just never know how peed off they might be.

I don't understand why Vince would want to bury Samoa Joe so bad, he is immense in the ring. For being a big guy he is so agile. His match with Style and Daniels, the second one is one of favourite matches of al time.

It would be interesting if Styles walked, I don't know if Hogan would care though. He'd probably re sign Randy Savage to replace him.

I always find it surprising that Vince never took a liking to Morgan. He is the sort of guy that McMahon normally pleasures himself too.

Morgan's WWE run is a strange one, they never really gave him anything decent to work with. He's improved tenfold in TNA though, I'd have thought he's just what Vince would be looking for - a big guy who can talk and isn't horrible in the ring.

i hope she addresses them cos it seems alot of the tna stars are quite annoyed about his release

They can't show one of these on TV because "she's not running the company anymore". Actually I don't know why I put speech marks in because apparently she's not running it in real life either.

Terrible decision if he was released. Think he walked though. Don't blame him he has been treated poorly since losing the x division title.
