Friday Night Football?

After another dire TNF game yesterday, I was wondering if there was a reason for the NFL not playing games on Friday nights instead of playing on Thursday?

The mere four day turnaround for many teams playing on TNF has led to some awful games on Thursday- I haven't seen a decent TNF game this season!
If the NFL do want another "cash-cow" game they could at least try and help to make it more exciting- moving to Friday will probably help that, with teams having one extra day to prepare .
I may be missing something simple here which doesn't let them play on Fridays!

Any other ideas to make these games better as players just seem tired in them tbh?

I'm not a fan of TNF either tbh, the games are dire and the home team almost always wins.

Honestly, just scrap weeknight football and play on Sunday. Also put good games on MNF.

Think Friday night is High School football night.

Yeah, I think traditionally it was Fridays - High school, Saturdays - College, Sundays - NFL

Thursday games should be special, opening night, Thanksgiving etc

Only upside is that each team gets a primetime game. Doesn't make it any good though.

They won't scrap TNF if it's on it's own network tbh.

Yeah, I don't see them scrapping it either -- to much $$ being made.
