Strangley, I think most teams can cope with losing big name players, it's when you get a load of EQ players crocked that it can hurt. That's what happened to me last time and it's a real pain.

Saracens seem to have done ok, as I don't think any of theirs would be 1st choice in their best XV.

Still plenty of twists and turns I am sure prop. Don't forget as soon as these injuries are back it's the 6 Nations, and then there will be another bout of injuries.

Nobody is cut adrift at present, so all to play for.

Balls, don't think I've escaped easily in any batch of injuries so far!

Guess the injury to Best puts Hartley in the starting shirt for the Lions though Wink

Friend saw it at the ground, said that Best started it and lost...but as Hartley is English I imagine an 8 week ban will follow, then the ERC will appeal and make it a 10 week ban.

Hopefully Saints lawyers will use the whole 'did you know he was born in NZ?', which should reduce the ban to a shake of the head and a verbal agreement not to do it again.

Citing bans have been so bad this year - 2 weeks for Thomson treading on a Scottish guys head, and wasnt it just 5 weeks for Andrew Hore - who actually only missed one game.

It was a forearm in the face when Best was on deck I think, can't imagine much coming from it. You could without a ban on top of those injuries

Could have been worse if I lost Simpson and Phillips, and luckily Halfpenny in top form at 15 and AJ has been playing very well for Wasps, wonder if I can get away with Messam at no8 too!
