IMBL... An article not posted is an article lost.
A change of racquet to a Fedal discussion.
HB... you were correct, this is becoming an endless GOAT debate.

I agree. I am tired of this endless denigration of players, especially the ones in the highest echelons of Tennis.

True, they are all great players and all deserve respect. I would be happy never to read the word GOAT again.

I would prefer a Fedal corner, and the GOAT debaters can congregate in that corner and hurl abuse/invective at one another, so we can have some Tennis discussions. I was hoping Lydian would elaborate on the racquet change a bit.

Glad I am a Murray fan. Sadly not really part of the GOAT debate. My vote goes to Evert!
As for the racquet change I guess we will find out how much of an impact it has soon. I am just happy to have Nadal back.

Henman Bill wrote:"In my mind, winning on clay was always the greatest test in tennis.”
Says a player who won the French Open but never got past the first round at Wimbledon.
There were many clay courters who would make excuses not to play Wimbledon on 90s grass, and just happened to have convenient minor injuries at that time every year. Muster was the absolute gold standard and world leader in this practice. After winning the French Open in 1995, he seemed to have an excuse every year for the rest of his career.
An interesting article comparing Rafa to Muster. (even though he may have only won one GS) I think the video is well worth watching

Re: Change of bat for Rafa!
Let's see if the racquet is a paint job or whether it is something newer. Not long now
