Glaws v Bath Empty Glaws v Bath

Ignoring the fact it is a LV game, we have another West Country derby tomorrow (please no comments about geography!). It is a meaningless game for Glaws as we can't qualify, but Bath need the win to stand a chance of getting to the semi finals. So not only do Glaws have the incentive to make it 11 wins out of 12 games against Bath, we can also knock you out of the cup too! Very Happy

Nigel Davies is clearly taking the game seriously as has named a pretty strong side:

GLAWS:
Rob Cook; Charlie Sharples, Mike Tindall (capt), Tim Molenaar, Shane Monahan; Ryan Mills, Jimmy Cowan; Dan Murphy, Huia Edmonds, Rupert Harden; Tom Savage, Lua Lokotui; Peter Buxton, Andy Hazell, Sione Kalamafoni

Replacements:
Darren Dawidiuk, Yann Thomas, Tom Heard, Akapusi Qera, Gareth Evans, Dan Robson, Billy Burns, Martyn Thomas

However, Bath haven't named a weak side either:

15 Nick Abendanon

14 Horacio Agulla

13 Matt Banahan

12 Sam Vesty

11 Olly Woodburn

10 Stephen Donald

9 Peter Stringer

1 Charlie Beech

2 Rob Webber

3 Anthony Perenise

4 Dave Attwood

5 Dominic Day

6 Francois Louw

7 Carl Fearns

8 Ben Skirving

Replacements

16 Ross Batty

17 Nathan Catt

18 Kane Palma-Newport

19 Will Spencer

20 Mat Gilbert

21 Chris Cook

22 Semesa Rokoduguni

23 Jack Cuthbert

For Glaws it is a no lose situation. lose and we can say it was a meaningless game; win and it's another victory against the neighbours. Will Bath get their first win at Castle Grim for nearly 7 years? Will Abendanon finally get his first ever win here?

AH, Fearns is back! Good to see. I thought he was out for a lot longer? Webber back to which is great for him.

Still feel a bit for Sharples. Has he even been in the England camp?

Sharples treatment has been a shambles. He's been dropped to the Saxons and not had a look in; the bizarre thing is that his form in the last 2 months has been excellent, whereas Jonny May who is still working his way back to full fitness and form is getting the nod for the Saxons, rather than being givena full 80 with Glaws.

Despite them being Bath players it is good to see Webber and Fearns back, as they both have a bright future.
