Obviously he won't get someone of Michu's quality, but he got Samba at CB and £12m could buy a quality striker, job done.

Didn't realise debate wasn't allowed. I just wanted to hear CF's reasoning behind the deal, because in my opinion, he has given up the best player in the league at the moment.

Can I say why is this now a problem? I have voiced my views on other transfers (for example nick's purchase of Figueroa) much more forcefully and it hasn't been got this reaction.

I think commenting on confirmed transfers is fine, provided there's no insults flying around. This Michu deal is a big one so I think people's shock was justified!

In all fairness - Samba > Williams in reputation.
and 19.5m(12m = 7.5 for Williams) is imo fair (infact a great deal for swansea)

Well I go off what I see, not reputation! It's a good deal for the Swans in theory, it's just CF has to replace Michu now, and well, with his track record so far, I doubt he will spend the money wisely...
