What are they up to now? Empty What are they up to now?

Seeing as teams like England and Ireland have a number of promising young players in them. I wondered what had happened to players from the 2011 junior world cup (Owen Farrels year) and how well they are doing. The tournament is laid out here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_IRB_Junior_World_Championship and the report link takes you the IRB page for the relevant game.

Here's the NZ side that played in the final and their highest level of rugby:

1 Solomona Sakalia: Plays for the Chiefs in the Super 15
2 Codie Taylor: Plays for the crusaders in the super 15
3 Ben Tameifuna: Plays for the chiefs in the Super 15
4 Steven Luatua: Plays for the Blues in the Super 15
5 Brodie Retallick: Current All Black lock
6 Brad Shields: Plays for the Hurricanes in the Super 15
7 Sam Cane: Has made the All Blacks as McCaws heir apparent
8 Luke Whitelock (C)
9 TJ Perenara: plays for the hurricanes in the super 15
10 Gareth Anscombe: Currently playing for the Chiefs in the super 15
11 Charles Piutau: Plays for the Blues in the super 15 and has represented NZ at 7's
12 Lima Sopoaga: Plays for the Highlanders in the super 15
13 Francis Saili: Plays for the Blues in the super 15
14 Mitchell Scott: Plays for Tasman in the ITM cup
15 Beauden Barrett: Plays for the All Blacks
16 Sefo Setefano: Plays for Waikato in the ITM cup
17 Michael Kainga (R): plays for the Cheifs in the super 15
18 Dominic Bird (R): plays for the Crusaders in the ITM cup
19 Carl Axtens (R): plays for the Steamers in the ITM cup
20 Brad Weber (R): plays for Otago in the ITM cup
21 Rhys Llewellyn (R)
22 Waisake Naholo (R)

So in terms of NZ. There's 3 all blacks (1 regular starter), and a host of super 15 players (All be it, many of them won't be 1st choice players this year).

Any ideas on the other teams?

[quote="blackcanelion"]Here's England if anyone wants a go:

1 Mako Vunipola- starting for Saracens in the AP and HEC, subbing for England.
2 Mikey Haywood- Saints academy player, not starting yet
3 Henry Thomas- Sale starting (I think) prop. Caller up to EPS as injury cover
4 Joe Launchbury- starting for England and Wasps. In Lions reckoning, maybe
5 Charlie Matthews- 3rd choice lock at Quins, getting gametime in Europe and AP. Said to be in lancaster's future plans
6 Sam Jones- Back up back row at Wasps, playing this weekend
7 Matt Kvesic- starter for Worcester moving to Gloucester, in EPS not capped yet
8 Alex Gray (C)- At London Irish, struggling to get starts
9 Chris Cook- Getting pretty regular gametime at Bath
10 George Ford- 2nd choice at Leicester, playing England Saxons and moving to ?Bath?
11 Christian Wade- Saxons, Wasps starter and 2nd place in AP try scoring table
12 Owen Farrell- starting at 10 for England and wherever Saracens can fit him. Probable Lion tourist
13 Elliot Daly- Saxon at FB and starter for Wasps
14 Andy Short- Fighting with Strettle to start at Saracens
15 Ben Ransom- at Sarries, not starting
16 Rob Buchanan (R)- 2nd choice Hooker ATM at Quins, played a lot in League and Europe now
17 Will Collier (R)- Back up at Quins
18 Sam Twomey (R)- back up at Quins
19 Matt Everard (R)- Back up at Wasps
20 Dan Robson (R)- still under 20, Sub 9 for Gloucester
21 Ryan Mills (R)- back up at Gloucester
