That's basically United's season done and dusted. After such hype and promise it's going to be rewarded with just a league title. Not totally suprised, said that this side would be found out at the latter stages of the cups and been proved right. Okay, Madrid game was ruined by referee but this United team was not good enough. Nani is a must for the exit door in readiness for Zaha.

Think Man City will beat Chelsea and will win the F.A Cup. Two finals vs Stoke and Wigan for Mancini, might just save his job.......so lucky.

But when your Manchester United in a position come march of being still in the three major cup competitions, league basically sewn up and you can rest players for important games, then it's viewed in Fergie's view as more than disappointing. Season promised so much and a title is great but in the end it's a let down to just roll out the remaining months of the season with nothing really to get excited about other than the already in the bag title.

John makes a valid point. A league title is by no means a bad result, but from the position they were in a month ago or so, the season has tailed off somewhat tamely
