Gary Smith sacked

On a very bad run, but i personally think its a bit harsh, they have only just come from non league and are playing in a tough league. But i think they just want to try and get Graham Westley back, whilst he is out of management.

Bit similar to Fleetwood sacking Micky Mellon a while back. They were 7th and it's their first ever year up from the Conference. Now they're 9th and 6 points off the playoffs with Graham Alexander in charge.

This is very very strange. But, Stevenage are 10 points down on what they were on after 39 games last season. Obviously the chairman feels after making the playoffs last year that they'd at least be in the top 12 right now.

Like Nick said I'd be amazed if Westley doesn't go back.

Seems as if Westley being out of management/Stevenage being an an amazingly bad run has given the board an opportunity they wanna snap up
