I'm really beginning to like Shaun Wane's attitude. 1st off he defends the easter programme, and names his strongest side for both.

And then he sends out a very strong side (yes he did play a couple of youngsters), for the game v Leigh.

Great 1st half from the Rovers. That head shot by Meli (broken arm?)on Hall.
I couldn't believe his head was still attached and then he scores a try a few minutes later.

Saints score early in the 2nd half. 16-12 to Hull KR after 50 mins.

Really good game in the second half, I only caught the last 10 minutes of the first

Some great full back play by Eden to get out of trouble when he really should've been tackled

We (widnes) were quite poor last night, although no disrespect to Doncaster who gave a really good account of themselves

We went to the game , i thought it was a very good advertisement for our league .

We looked good from the start and i thought we didn't really let Saints into it until those ten minutes after half time .

The high shot was a bad one , and i thought everyone in the stands were going to riot with all the shoulder charges that Saints were hitting ( i thought it was banned ? , a yellow card should of been shown imo ) .

all together i thought it was a good performance and a very good win . Lets see who we get in the draw on monday

I'll take this. Hopefully Betts will take it a bit more serious than he did Doncaster and we can progress and then hopefully bring a super league club to the stobart if we do get through to the next round

Pretty much who you've put down, apart from Sheffield to beat Halifax. Be nice if Rovers could win but can't see it happening, Huddersfield to beat Leeds possibily.

I think I have a soft spot for Halifax. Don't know why. Maybe because they are an old club with a long history. It would be good to see them back in SL.

Are Sheffield a much stronger side? Do they have the wood on Fax?

Sheffield are an exciting side, very good backs. Won the championship GF last year, runners up the year before started okay this season. Halifax lost to Featherstone 40-12 last week, but other than that they're unbeaten, decent set of forwards. Couldn't tell you if they've meet this season.
Should be a good game. I like Halifax, 10 minutes into Bradford, 20 minutes there. Ground in the center of town, couple of good pubs near it. Plus for years when I started going to RL, ourselves and Halifax always seemed quite close in form etc. Remember when we got relegated 88-89, Halifax also went down, first game between us drew over 9000, and we won.

Great win for Huddersfield against Leeds, a domininent and fully deserved there win.

All sunday's games were abit one sided, with Wigan winning by 30 at Rovers, Catalan scoring 90 against a gallent, but out gunned York. Warrington stuffing an apparently poor Salford team, and while Workington battled hard, and were game opponents, not scoring as widnes run in 36 points.

If my Memory's right,

Huddersfield 24 Leeds 8.
Hull KR 14 Wigan 46.
Workington 0 Widnes 36.
Warrington 56? Salford 6.
Catalans 94 York 6?

All 4 Quarter Final games will be shown live on either sky or the BBC.

Sky will on Friday 12th July be showing the Sheffield/London game, at 8pm.

On Sat 13th the BBC will show the Catalan/Hull FC game from 4pm, they will also be showing the Warrington/Huddersfield game on sun 14th which will kick off at 4.15

And on Monday 15th sky will show the Wigan/Widnes game, kick off 8pm.

Though I think all 4 should be good games, and wouldn't be surprised if I'm completely wrong.

A poor result for Sheffield against an injury weakened London side.
The Broncos are the worst side in super league and if Sheffield can't beat them when the Broncos have so many injuries, what sort of Cricket scores would better super league clubs knock up against the Eagles?
This to me is a massive negative for the new proposals which include P & R.

With regards to todays Warrington v Huddersfield game , i am surprised nothing has been mentioned by anyone about the bottle that was thrown onto the pitch at a Huddersfield player towards the end of the game .

Any very slim hope London had of winning this game was destroyed by Phil Benthem. London didn't get a 50/50 call all afternoon. I know refs have a hard job, but his performance this afternoon i found embarrassing to be honest.
