Do Wasps qualify for next season's HC if....

French teams win this season's HC and Amlin.

The Amlin winners automatically qualify for the HC.

If Clermont or Toulon win the HC, then France are limited to seven clubs in the HC.

The last HC slot then goes to the highest team in the ERC rankings who have not already qualified. That is currently (and will be) Wasps by my reckoning.

The ranking points for this season have not been added to the ranking table, but Bath are two points behind Wasps and both will get the same ranking points from this season - topped their Amlin Pool but were both knocked out in the quarters.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not clutching at straws because Wasps don't deserve to qualify for the HC based on our form in the last two months. But the rules are the rules.

Am I right, given the above scenario?

So he said after Sunday's game, but he did seem a bit down then. In the clear light of day, I'm sure he'd relish the HC.

I just want some interesting places to go to, whatever comp we end up in.

If Munster win the HEC and Leinster win the Amlin the Connacht and Wasps make it in too.

Jersey's s'posed to be nice, as is Penzance. Not so sure about Rotherham or Billesley Common - I've even heard malicious rumours that Ealing has its attractions.

Don't worry Dubbleyew; Penzance, Bris (loved the away trips to Bris*) + others may be on the cards with Ealing depending on Wasps fixtures.

In the Amlin, Mogliano was fantastic this season. What a welcoming club.

Biarritz have 2 ways (Hopefully one after the 16:30 on Saturday)

I am predicting Leinster and Clermont for the cups which will bring in Perpignan and Connacht. Only other spot up for grabs is Bath or Exeter which should be Exeter. But I could be wrong on all 3
