Here Comes the Emmalution

Very rarely am I excited about the prospect of a new WWE diva, with the exception of the patriotic pride provoked by our very own Paige, however having watched NXT this week, I am fully on board with the Emmalution!

Emma looks set to take the WWE by storm. A talented wrestler, and a great gimmick. A Miranda for the wrestling world. As Dr Gregory House MD will testify - I fully expect Emma to be WWE Divas Champion by time the year is out.

Much like my other love, the incomparable Heath Slater, Emma seems fully prepared to embrace social media to get her name, Emma, out there. Once you have seen her glorious Harlem Shake video, you will not only never forget the name Emma, you will come to realise why the Harlem Shake was invented.

Comparisons with Brodus and Fandango are unflattering to say the least. In a way she has an air of the female Stone Cold Steve Austin about her. She can't dance, but she will anyway, is very reminiscent of "I broke my neck but I still got up". The only difference being that I doubt Austin could execute an Indian Deathlock as perfectly as Emma did against Bailey this week.

Emma has clearly done her homework.

Emma seems cast from the same refreshing Diva mould as Kaitlyn - good worker, genuinely funny, and ready to take the mick out of herself rather than rely on her breasts for a place on the roster.

She is also Australian - so would be a great addition to the ever growing portfolio of nationalities.

The Emmalution is coming.

paige yes shes good emma is ok in the ring but the dance she does makes her look stupid.

When I was at school, we went through a phase of everybody trying to do the Worm, thanks to Scotty 2 Hotty.
My wife is a teacher and she said when she was on duty yesterday, probably about 100 students did "the Emma" all through play break.

That's her gimmick though! It's like saying Dolph Ziggler's ring attire makes him look like a show off.

I watched three episodes last night as I'd fallen behind with NXT - and there was a reason behind every match and they all advanced the storyline between the people involved. If it can be done in NXT, why are the writers not bothering on the main shows?

I feel the scruffy with tattoos look is a bit overdone. It looks a bit Southern. I wonder if that is the CM Punk influence?

Different kind of people, in NXT you have writers who give a hoot about wrestling in, Smiley, Pritchard, Rhodes and Steamboat. Triple H aswell is more involved in NXT than he is the main shows at present
For the main shows it seems to be TV writers now a days rather than former wrestlers like it used to be.
