*We go live on air from inside the Elite Coliseum in Los Angeles, California. The Scars and Stripes setup has been erected and the arena looks amazing. There is a giant star spangled banner running from either side of the Hypertron and a giant steel Eagle perched across the archway of the entrance. The ring ropes have been coloured red, white and blue, and the fans are still flowing through the doors, toward their seats. “Indestructible” is echoing out of the speaker system and an extra special array of pyrotechnics is exploding high into the air. On the Hypertron, a video package of the events leading up to the pay per view is airing to the crowd. The cameras then pan around to Jonathan Kelly and Donovan Franklin, situated at the announce booth.

JK: Ladies and gentlemen good evening and welcome to a Scars and Stripes. We are coming to you live and exclusive from the Elite Coliseum here in the heart of Los Angeles, California. I am Johnny Kelly, alongside my broadcast colleague, Donovan Franklin, and folks I cannot exaggerate what a show we have in store for you tonight. The very future of EWF is hanging in the balance as we get set to kick this extravaganza off….Don, tell the people at home just how tense things are right now…

DF: Evening guys….I have to tell you things are heating up, it is like a damn sauna right now. You walk in that backstage area and I am telling you, people are worried. This is personal, this is tense, this is balancing on a knifepoint and you can sense it in every quarter. The war between FEAR and EWF is at boiling point, we are ready for an eruption and I just don’t know what we can expect to happen here tonight.

JK: Three championships will be on the line….a grudge match that is almost five years in the making as well as a high octane tag team bout to kick us off…….but it really all does come down to FEAR and EWF, whichever side you are on, you have to believe that tonight is going to answer a lot of questions…..who really is the dominant power? Can EWF strike back or will FEAR land that final blow that puts us out of commission?

DF: FEAR have their own issues though, I mean what is going on with Machiavelli and Ojore? We have the mystery leader…..these guys are not on the same level right now either…..if ever we had a time to strike back then it is right here tonight…

JK: But we have our own problems….the last edition of Conflict left a cloud of suspicion hanging over the head of the EWF World Champion, Vincent Costello…..there is no trust, none at all and that adds to the intensity….there is nobody around here who can predict what is going to happen next….

DF: And as if that wasn’t bad enough, the EWF Board of Directors are in the building….and they brought company, a shed load of company….

JK: Ladies and gentlemen the following footage has not been doctored in the slightest….this took place just a few moments ago…

*The Hypertron shows a large limousine arriving in the parking lot of the arena and the EWF B.O.D, led by Mr Riley, climb from the car. They all stand, looking nervous, before seven high armoured trucks pull up alongside the limo and flanks upon flanks of security begin to pour out. When the final car door closes the small army is numbered at the forty mark, each man is dressed in black and they surround the Board of Directors. Mr Riley steps out in front.

Riley: Ok everybody, we will now follow these gentlemen to the VIP area where we will be very safe. There is no need to panic, but we do have very important business to attend to.

*Mr Riley and the other six members of the B.O.D then begin to follow the security army out of the parking lot and into the building as the action returns to ringside.

JK: As you can see folks, with everything that has happened in the past few weeks….the heinous attacks on Daniel Magnusson, Oliver Baker and various other members of the EWF staff….the Board of Directors are taking no chances, they have amassed an army here tonight.

DF: Security are represented in force here tonight….I wonder if FEAR will be as confident of upsetting the applecart now…

JK: It is our understanding that between ten and twenty of those security guards are monitoring the VIP area…..the majority however have been situated inside the main lobby area of this arena, it would seem as though there has actually been a separation of sorts…

DF: They’ve walled it off…..a human line in the sand….FEAR on one side, EWF on the other…welcome to the warzone Johnny, it is Berlin all over again…

JK: It really is a necessary precaution with everything that has been going on…I just hope the drama doesn’t overshadow the amazing show that we have lined up tonight…..

DF: No way it could….EWF is rocking on pay per view and nobody can stop that…let’s get to our first match…

JK: It is my understanding that we are heading backstage first Don, but our opening bout is imminent…

*The action goes backstage and there is a cheer from the crowd as Robin Reborn is shown standing by with Hugh Cartwright in the lobby area of the Coliseum. The hoard of security can be seen in the background and Reborn looks ready for action, kitted out in his wrestling attire.

Cartwright: Robin, just a couple of moments from now you will make your EWF PPV debut. When your career began last week with this promotion did you really think you would become embroiled in the EWF/FEAR war so quickly?

Reborn: Honest answer, I knew there was a good chance. It seems like nobody is safe from this war right now so whether you choose to get involved or not, it is more than likely going to catch up with you.

Cartwright: Obviously last week you were in the midst of fighting against Mr Jones but tonight he is your partner as you take on Alex Garcia and Tyler Roth, is it strange to be teaming with a man who you fought just ten days ago?

Reborn: Not that strange, because both of us have a mutual enemy and we gained some sort of bond with what happened last week. FEAR attacked both of us, they started this fight and they picked us out. So tonight I don’t see any problem in working together, it’s all about gaining some retribution on the guys that put us down on Conflict. Plus I don’t have any complaints with having an unstoppable monster on my side, kind of gives me a good sense of security.

*Reborn smiles widely

Cartwright: last week didn’t go as planned for you I am sure, but how confident are you that tonight will mark your first victory in EWF?

Reborn: Take nothing away from Garcia and Roth, despite what they stand for, but I am hungry for this and I don’t give them a hope of stopping me and Jones tonight. I bring with me a style that not only pleases the fans but allows me to move beyond the competition and really bring the spotlight upon myself. I see tonight as great opportunity, a wonderful chance for me to prove that there is bigger and better things to come from Robin Reborn.

Cartwright: And just before I let you go, what do you make of all this security around here?

*Reborn looks over his shoulder and laughs

Reborn: Yeah it is pretty intense. But I don’t blame the Board of Directors one bit, they are trying to protect themselves and their investment. The fans paid good money to come out tonight and it would be awful to see this show ruined by the issues between EWF and FEAR. If a problem needs sorting then there is a ring out there in which to settle a dispute…..no reason why it should spill out back here and put the whole event in jeopardy. Tonight is about giving back to the fans, giving them a show to remember!

*The crowd cheer loud

Cartwright: Thanks for your time, Robin, good luck out there!

*Reborn nods in thanks and then heads towards the entranceway, through a line of security.

Match 1
Mr Jones/ Robin Reborn vs Alex Garcia/Tyler Roth

DF: I still can’t believe how much security is back there…

JK: They are blocking off the entranceway as well, stopping anyone from getting out here in and interfering in matches…

DF: The B.O.D have really gone to town tonight….

The crowd begin to cheer as “Thrift shop” plays out and a procession of pyros explode into the air, welcoming the arrival of Robin Reborn. The energetic newcomer bounces out onto the stage and throws his arms in the arm before making his way down the ramp, interacting with the fans as he does so.

JK; Robin Reborn certainly seems in a lively mood ahead of this opening match….

DF: Kid wants to prove himself, I like to see that. He put on a good showing against Jones last week before FEAR interrupted, I expect to see another breath-taking display again tonight from him…

JK: Reborn only debuted in EWF ten days ago but already he finds himself caught up in the middle of the EWF/FEAR war…..

Reborn climbs up onto the apron and vaults over the top rope before scaling the ropes and posing for the fans in attendance. The cheers continue as the lights switch off completely and the familiar gong accompanies the “funeral march”.

DF: I called it last week, I said EWF needed to get this guy on board and they did….what a coup for us to have Mr Jones in our ranks…

JK: FEAR made the recruitment much easier when they assaulted Jones during his match with Reborn…..they made his mind up for him and now they may end up paying the ultimate price for that…..

DF: Reborn and Jones are a contrast of styles but that may make for a formidable partnership…I like our chances in this opener…

The lights come back on but at a dim setting as smoke billows out of the entranceway and Mr Jones makes his way out onto the stage. There are cheers and screams as he gazes around the arena and then begins to make his way down toward the ring.

JK: For a long time Mr Jones was embroiled in a war with Bryan Wells, but he finally laid that feud to rest a few weeks back..since then we speculated on where he would go next and last week we got our answer….the “justice” fighter has set his sights upon FEAR….

DF: And he could be a serious threat to them….I haven’t seen anyone manage to keep this man down for a prolonged period of time….

JK: Even a brutal assault from Tyler Roth and Alex Garcia last week didn’t leave Jones down for long…infact he returned in the next match of the night and chokeslammed Garcia into oblivion……he really could end up being the EWF wildcard…

DF: Well we need one, so let’s hope he is our guy…

Mr Jones reaches the ring and he climbs up on the apron before stepping over the top rope. He looks at Robin Reborn, who nods his head and gives Jones the thumbs up, before walking to a neutral corner and just stands there. The crowd are hot with anticipation and then “Seven nation army” by the White Stripes echoes out to tumultuous boos.

JK: Like the villains of a Hollywood masterpiece, FEAR have arrived for their moment of reckoning….

DF: And these guys revel in their roles, they love just how bada55 they are….they feed off the negativity of the crowd….

Drake Callihan is first out onto the stage, a dark smile across his tanned features, and then Alex Garcia and Tyler Roth follow him. The boos are almost deafening as Garcia and Roth point to their vests, which has the word FEAR upon it with the picture of the masks that they wear, before raising their arms in the air as pyros explode all around them. They look down at Reborn and Jones with smiles upon their faces and then begin their descent.

JK: It was Drake Callihan who offered this match to Jones and Reborn last week after a brawl between all four men in the backstage area…..FEAR certainly aren’t shy about getting involved in a fight…

DF: These guys want to fight, they want to hurt people…..that’s what makes them so dangerous….sure they do the run-ins and the sneak-attacks but they will also meet you head on if they have to….FEAR scare the hell out of me, I will be honest…

JK: First contest of the night and I am expecting a clash to remember between these four men…..the war starts now…

DF: Reborn and Jones the first up on the frontline for EWF…..Roth and Garcia for FEAR….it won’t be the last battle we see tonight, no sir…

Roth and Garcia remove their vests and throw them at the fans in the front row before receiving their final instructions from Drake Callihan. He then orders them to the ring and they jump up on either side of the ring apron as the referee makes his way to the centre of the ring. After a brief discussion between Reborn and Jones it is Reborn who opts to start out for his team, Alex Garcia taking the reins for FEAR. The official reads off his expectations for the bout and then the match is underway.

JK: EWF presents Scars and Stripes, Sunday May 26th 2013…..we are live folks and this is pro wrestling at its finest…

Reborn and Garcia circle each other before launching into a lockup in the centre of the ring. Garcia quickly twists the arm of his opponent and turns it around his back, only for Reborn to use his free arm to pull Garcia into a side headlock and drag him over his hip into a takedown. Both men get back up and Reborn cracks two kicks into the legs of Garcia and then looks for a roundhouse…

DF: Garcia was ready for that….

Alex Garcia catches Reborn’s foot and spins him around, only for Reborn to counter with a dragon whip kick as he flies around. Both men get up again and Reborn dropkicks Garcia into the ropes and then runs at him but Garcia drops his shoulder and backdrops Reborn over the top rope…

JK: Reborn just managing to hang on…

Garcia turns around and Reborn forearms him in the face, knocking him back, and then Reborn springboards onto the ropes and soars through the air into a crossbody…………………….1………………………2……………..Garcia kicks out. Reborn pulls Garcia up and attempts to suplex him back on the canvass but Garcia nails two counter hooks to the body and then twists out, dropping Reborn with a neckbreaker………………………..1…………………..2………………shoulder up!

DF: A nice trading of action here in the early going…..neither man gaining a real upper hand…

Garcia gets back up and he slams a knee into the stomach of Reborn and whips him into the corner before following in. Reborn is ready though and he lifts his legs up and wraps them around the oncoming Garcia’s neck before spinning out of the corner and sending Garcia into a headscissors takedown. Reborn gets back up and he dropkicks the knees of Garcia before running off the ropes and returning with a somersault legdrop across the back of Garcia’s neck………………………………………..1……………………………………2…………………….kickout!

JK: Very impressive start from Robin Reborn here, taking to his career in EWF from the off….

DF: And now it is time to see the monster at work…

Reborn gets back up and he offers the tag to Mr Jones, who gladly accepts. Jones steps over the ropes and into the centre of the ring as Garcia slowly gets back to his feet. Garcia freezes at the sight of Jones and looks ready to plead for mercy when Jones detonates an uppercut right under the jaw of his foe. Garcia hits the deck and then staggers back up into another right hand before Jones whips him off the ropes and takes him down with a sideslam as he returns…………………………………….1………….2………………………shoulder up from Garcia!

JK: Not the start that Drake Callihan will have wanted from his men…

Callihan slams his hand against the apron as Mr Jones throws Garcia into the corner and works him over with a flurry of punches to the midsection. He then grabs Garcia’s arm and whips him across the opposite corner before running across after him…

DF: No escape for Garcia right now…

Jones thunders into his foe with a bodysplash and then beckons him out of the corner and wraps his gloved hand around the throat of Garcia…

JK: This could be about to get a whole lot worse for FEAR, Chokeslam…

Garcia kicks Jones in the stomach at the final moment and then drops him with a DDT………………….1………………….powerout. Garcia gets back up and he slaps the hand of Tyler Roth, who gladly climbs into the ring….

DF: This is the clash everyone wanted to see…..Roth and Jones..

Tyler Roth clubs Jones across the back with heavy shots and then rags him up and throws him with a huge overhead belly to belly suplex. Jones gets back up and Roth clocks him with hard right hands before whipping him off the ropes and flooring him with a clothesline as he returns. Jones stumbles back up again and Roth takes him down with a t-bone…

JK: The strength of Tyler Roth is scary….

DF: It is unnatural…

1..
….2
………..shoulder up. Roth pulls Jones up by head and butts him across the ring before charging into the corner and slamming a knee into the stomach of his opponent. Roth hits rights and lefts to the body before jamming the back of his forearm and elbow into the face of Jones, the referee is forced to intervene on the count of four…

JK: Roth is just man-handling Jones right now…

DF: Callihan is loving it…

Drake Callihan smiles from the outside as Roth pulls Jones out of the corner and hits him with another huge overhead throw. Roth gets back up and he mockingly draws his finger across his throat, signalling the end of the match…

JK: Roth is taunting Jones now….

DF: And he’s setting him up….F-5!

Roth lifts Jones up onto his shoulders with ease but Jones elbows his way off the back and then he seizes Roth by the throat as he spins him around……

JK: Choke….what strength……

Tyler Roth grabs the arm of Jones and he rips away his hand from his throat with apparent ease before lifting Jones up and hitting him with a huge Samoan drop…………………..1………………………………2……………….Jones gets his shoulder up. Robin Reborn is shouting words of encouragement from the ring apron as Roth pulls Jones back up and positions him for a powerbomb…

JK: He surely can’t do this…

DF: Believe me, he can….

Roth lets out a grunt and then he lifts Mr Jones up onto his shoulders, holding him there, before Jones rifles down hard right hands into the face of the FEAR member and jumps out of the front before big booting Roth to the floor. Roth gets back up and Jones looks for an irish whip but Roth counters with ease again…

DF: Too much strength….

JK: Couldn’t take that!

The crowd cheer as Jones ducks a clothesline on the comeback and runs off the opposite ropes before returning with a flying lariat that knocks Roth off his feet. Roth gets back up and Jones twists his arm around before climbing up the ropes in the corner….

DF: Mr Jones is going old-school….

Jones gets onto the top rope and he walks along to the middle and jumps off into the flying forearm to the back of the neck but Roth catches him with amazing awareness across his shoulders…

JK: I don’t believe it….F-5!

DF: That is what Tyler Roth is all about…..

Roth grins wildly as he walks Jones into the centre of the ring and spins him up for the F-5 but Jones scrambles off the back once again and pushes Roth into the corner. Roth crashes against the turnbuckle and staggers back out, straight into a big back suplex from the masked Jones……………………………..1………………………..2……………….shoulder up!

DF: A real battle of the behemoths in there currently….

They get back up and Jones slams a hard uppercut under the chin of Roth before rocking his head back with more punches. Roth slows his opponent down with a heavy kick to the stomach and then tries to lift him up into a pumphandle slam but Jones fights his way out of the scenario and then lifts Roth up into a spinebuster…………………………1………………………………….2…………………shoulder up!

JK: Jones isn’t the sort of man who will back down from any sort of fight, he will meet Roth head on….

Jones gets back up and Robin Reborn asks for the tag, so Jones lets him on the action. Reborn scales to the top rope and he waits for Roth to stand up before jumping off and landing a side kick to the jaw (ala RVD) that takes Roth off his feet. Reborn then runs off the ropes and he comes back into a cartwheel and a standing moonsault………………………………..1…………………………………2……………………….powerout!

DF: Reborn is going to struggle to keep Roth down….

JK: He will need to stay on his bike at all times…

Reborn gets up and he kicks Roth under the chin before running back off the ropes and returning with a low dropkick that cracks into the face of Roth, leaving him sprawled on the mat. The young rookie then sprints to the corner, sensing his opportunity, and he jumps up onto the top rope…

DF: This kid is going for the kill….450….

JK: Dammit…

The crowd boo furiously as Alex Garcia runs across the apron and pushes Reborn off the turnbuckle, causing him to land throat-first across the top rope on landing. Tyler Roth makes his way back up and he lets Reborn up before flipping him into a powerbomb position and then drops him into a modified backbreaker across his knee……………………………………….1…………………………………..2…………………….Reborn just kicks out!

DF: Robin Reborn was almost snapped in two…

JK: And now here comes Garcia to feed on the scraps…

Roth tags Garcia back in and “Wildfire” immediately begins to stomp down on Reborn, really targeting the head and chest of the youngster. The referee intervenes on the count of four but Garcia shoves the official away and begins to drop elbows and fists into the head of his opponent…

DF: This is the side of Alex Garcia that is so effective….

JK: And the one that draws him so close to being disqualified…

Reborn gets back up and Garcia pulls him into a suplex position and then throws him onto the ropes, leaving Reborn to dangle there in the middle. Garcia then heads to the corner and he climbs up onto the second rope, waiting there, before jumping off and landing with an elbow drop to the back of Reborn that brings him back into the ring. Reborn stumbles up and Alex Garcia lifts him onto his shoulders….

DF: Gutbuster!

Garcia throws Reborn up to drop him into the gutbuster but Reborn amazingly counters with a hurricanrana into a pin……………….1………………………………….2……………….kickout. Garcia quickly scrambles back up and kicks RR in the stomach…

JK: CATALINA…

Reborn spins and counters the stunner into a backslide pin………………………1……………………………2………………..shoulder up. They both get back up and Reborn ducks a clothesline from Garcia and then takes him out with a roundhouse to the temple………………1………………………….2…………….Garcia kicks out.

DF: Reborn feeling his way back in…

Garcia gets up and walks into an inverted atomic drop before Reborn whips him off the ropes and floors him with a spinning heel kick on the comeback. Reborn breathes in the energy of the fans and then makes his way to the corner, leaping up top….

JK: Reborn loves to takes a risk….

DF: And that paid off!

Reborn dives through the air, garnering great airtime, and lands a heavy knee to the face of Alex Garcia as he comes down. Reborn then rolls back up to his feet and he ushers Garcia up before kicking him in the stomach…

JK: TWIST OF…

Reborn looks for a twist of fate but Garcia pushes him into the ropes and allows Tyler Roth to drill Reborn with a huge right hand. RR staggers back around and Garcia lifts him onto his shoulders before nailing a gutbuster….

DF: Like it or not, that is teamwork…

Drake Callihan applauds as Garcia makes the cover……………………………1…………………………………….2………………..shoulder up from Reborn. Garcia gets back up and he pulls Reborn into a piledriver position before trying to lift him in the air…

JK; Reborn not having this…

RR kicks his feet and refuses to budge before he counters with a backdrop that sends Garcia to the mat. AG gets back up and tries to take out Reborn with a running kick but RR ducks it and jumps into a springboard before diving back…

DF: Cross…

Garcia ducks the crossbody and sends Reborn crashing into the canvass. Alex Garcia laughs and then runs off the ropes and returns with a well-executed neckbreaker………………………..1………………………………..2…………………..shoulder up from Reborn. Garcia gets to his feet and he grabs the legs of Reborn…

JK: Garcia looking like he wants the cloverleaf….

DF: Coming straight out of Texas with this one….

Garcia pulls the legs of Reborn up and tries to turn him over but RR wriggles and fights free before kicking out with both legs and sends Garcia scrambling across the canvass. Both men get back to their feet and Reborn swipes the legs of Garcia…

JK: Sharpshooter…

Garcia thrashes around and avoids the submission by dragging Reborn down into an inside cradle………………..1……………………………..2………………………….shoulder up. They get back up and Garcia dodges a right hand and counters with a Russian legsweep…………………………1……………………….2……………Reborn kicks out!

DF: Now FEAR are showing their dominance….and they are doing it in a professional manner…

JK: For now, but what happens when things don’t go their way?

Garcia gets up and he tags Tyler Roth back into the match, prompting boos from the crowd. Roth drags Reborn up and throws him into the turnbuckles before opening up with sickening knees to the gut, each blow echoes around ringside. Roth then pulls Reborn into the centre of the ring and scoops him into a huge backbreaker….

DF: Tyler Roth is just an a55 kicking machine….this guy is unreal…

JK: It is very worrying how easily he seems to be able to dissect other superstars….

Drake Callihan is lauding Roth from the outside as Robin Reborn is pulled back up and whipped into the turnbuckle with such power that he flies over the top and lands on the apron before tumbling to the outside of the ring. Roth turns to Mr Jones and flexes his abnormal sized muscles in an attempt of intimidating the masked superstar…

DF: I don’t think Jones is scared, but maybe he should be…..Reborn just crossed a timezone there….

Alex Garcia drops down off the apron and he slams Robin Reborn’s head into the ringside barrier before running him backwards into the ring apron. Reborn looks in a lot of pain as Garcia rolls him back into the ring and Tyler Roth executes a destructive pumphandle slam….

JK: That could have been the end right there….

DF: Reborn has guts…

Tyler Roth turns Reborn on his stomach and then drops several heavy elbows into the back of his opponent. Reborn is barely able to move as Roth then charges off the ropes and returns with a huge bodysplash to the back….he turns Reborn over……………………………1……………………………………2………………Mr Jones breaks up the count!

DF: Jones had to intervene that time…

JK: Reborn is starting to take a beating….

Roth places his hands together in an axe handle and he repeatedly clubs the back of Robin Reborn as he tries to stand up, eventually grinding the smaller man down so that he no longer moves. Roth drops knees into the back and then rags Reborn up with ease and scoops him up onto his shoulders….

DF: Torture Rack…..this’ll finish the job…

JK: The pain has to be extraordinary right now for Robin Reborn….

Reborn screams out in pain as Roth squeezes the life out of him with the torturous submission. Alex Garcia and Drake Callihan look very pleased with proceedings as Roth continues to punish the much smaller athlete…

JK; Reborn doesn’t want to quit….but he doesn’t have anything else to offer….

DF: He can’t break free of the submission….

Reborn’s whole body seems to be convulsing as Roth crunches it even more before finally he spins him fully onto his shoulders and laughs as he launches Reborn through the air…

JK: F-5!

DF: I’ll be damned, he hit that with some authority….

JK: CHOKESLAM!

The crowd look worried as Roth nails Reborn with the chokeslam but Jones is quickly in the ring and he waits for Tyler Roth to turn around before drilling him with a huge chokeslam. Alex Garcia looks on from the apron, unwilling to get involved…

JK: No way is Garcia going to step in there with Jones….

Drake Callihan is arguing with the referee about Jones’ interference as the masked man glares at Alex Garcia and then leaves the ring. Roth and Reborn are both crashed out on the canvass as the official turns around and begins to count them down….

DF: Could be a double count out….

JK: Both men need a tag…

Reborn is trying to crawl over to the outstretched hand of Mr Jones as Alex Garcia pleads with Tyler Roth to get across and tag him in. Drake Callihan is bawling instructions at Roth but Reborn seems fresher and quicker, moving over toward Jones….

JK: Reborn’s there….

Alex Garcia bursts into the ring and runs across, knocking Jones off the apron and he drags Reborn back into the centre of the ring. Reborn stands up on one leg as Garcia clings onto the other and he succeeds in nailing an enzeguiri to the side of Garcia’s head, sending him flying through the ropes and to the outside….

JK: Reborn working hard to fight against FEAR’s backhanded tactics….

DF: NOT HARD ENOUGH!

Reborn gets back up and Tyler Roth bursts out of the corner, almost breaking RR in half with a spear………………………………..1…………………………………..2……………………………….Mr Jones pulls the referee out of the ring!

DF: Whoah, Jones not looking happy…

The referee warns Jones about his conduct as Drake Callihan rushes across and begins to argue with the official. Jones leaves them to it and rolls back into the ring, drawing his finger across his throat as Tyler Roth gets up…

JK: Jones isn’t the legal man but the referee is being caught off guard by Callihan….

DF: FEAR are costing themselves…

The crowd cheer as Jones lifts Roth up on his shoulders and gets ready to drill him with a tombstone when Alex Garcia slides back into the ring with the ringbell in his hand and he slams the steel across the back of Jones’ head, knocking him to the ground.

JK: Ref….

Garcia and Roth both stomp on Jones before picking him up and slinging him through the ropes to the outside. They high five each other and then turn around and drag Robin Reborn up, they whip him off the ropes….

DF: Reborn’s in trouble…

Reborn ducks the double clothesline as he comes back and hits the opposite ropes before flying back with a double dropkick that sends both men down. The referee gets back in the ring as Reborn superkicks Alex Garcia over the ropes to the outside and then rounds on Roth, he kicks the big man in the stomach…

JK: TWIST OF FATE!

The crowd cheer as Reborn plants Tyler Roth into the mat……

Reborn looks stunned as the referee tells him it was a two and orders the match to continue. He gets back to his feet and makes his way over to the ropes before climbing up to the top of the turnbuckle. Drake Callihan is shouting at Roth to get back up as Reborn gets to the top…

DF: Here we go……SHOOTING…

Post by JJJohnson Mon 27 May 2013, 12:24 am

Tyler Roth is back up and he runs into the ropes, causing Reborn to drop into a crotched position and then tumble back onto the canvass. Roth staggers over to his corner and collapses, allowing Alex Garcia to come back and slap Roth on the back….

JK: Garcia taking over….

Reborn has no idea that Garcia is back in the mix as he stumbles back up and Garcia grabs his arms….

DF: Tiger suplex…

Reborn leaps up and presses his feet against the top of the turnbuckle, pushing himself backward into a pinning combo on Garcia…………………………………1…………………………..2………………shoulder up. They both get back up and Reborn springboards onto the ropes…

JK: Disaster….

Garcia ducks the disaster kick and sends Reborn off balance before he runs back over to his opponent and leaps up into the air….

DF: SUNSET HEIGHTS!

Reborn grabs the ropes at the last moment and blocks Garcia from detonating the zigzag neckbreaker. Reborn then turns around and he kicks Garcia in the stomach and looks for a twist of fate but Garcia blocks it and pushes Reborn into the corner before following in…

JK: OH YES!

Crowd: That was awe-some x5

Reborn dives onto the top rope with great athleticism and then floats back into an incredible moonsault takedown………………………………………..1………………………………………….2……………………….Garcia just gets his shoulder up. Both men make it back to their feet and Garcia and Reborn run at each other, Garcia looks for a flying forearm but Reborn rolls across the canvass and then dives through the air…

JK: HE TAGGED JONES!

The crowd erupt as Reborn slaps the hands of Mr Jones, causing Alex Garcia’s jaw to drop. Jones quickly steps over the ropes and he beckons Garcia forward before dropping him with a huge overhand right….

DF: Jones is fired up….

Tyler Roth tries to get involved but he is dropped by the same punch and for the first time Drake Callihan looks worried. Garcia scrambles back up and Jones throws him into the corner and works him over with rights and lefts before doing the same with Tyler Roth in the opposite corner. Jones then charges into Garcia with a running splash and repeats the process to Roth…

JK: Mr Jones is single handedly destroying FEAR in front of this amazing Scars and Stripes crowd….

Jones then runs out and takes Garcia down with a big boot before turning on his heel and doing the same to Tyler Roth, sending the big man rolling from the ring. Jones then drags Garcia up and twists his arm around before climbing up the ropes….

DF: OLD SCHOOL!

Jones flies from the top rope and he hammers the forearm in across the back of Garcia’s neck, leaving him sprawled on the deck. Jones then stretches out his right hand and he waits for Garcia to get back up to his feet….

JK: Alex Garcia has no idea of what fate awaits him, but he is about to find out….

DF: WHAT GOES UP….MUST COME DOWN!

The crowd are on their feet as Jones lifts Garcia up by the throat and nails him into the canvass with an amazing chokeslam. Drake Callihan is tearing his hair out on the outside as Jones draws his finger across his throat and waits for Garcia to stand……

JK: FEAR are at the end of the line….

DF: Garcia is going six feet under……….TOMBSTONE!

Callihan jumps up on the apron to provide a distraction as Jones has Garcia on his shoulders. The referee moves across to try and budge Callihan but he refuses, prompting Jones to throw Garcia to the floor and take matters into his own hands….

DF: I’d get out of there Callihan…

Jones takes Drake Callihan by the throat and looks ready to haul him into the ring when Tyler Roth runs across and clubs Jones from behind, drawing him into a brawl. Both men begin to trade with big lefts and rights before Roth storms Jones back to the ropes and sends then both flying through the middle and to the outside…

JK: Robin Reborn made the blind tag, he caught Jones before he fell from the ring….

DF: And Alex Garcia has no idea…

Roth and Jones continue to fight into the aisleway and Roth knees Jones in the stomach and tries to whip him into the security railing but Jones counters and sends Roth crashing into the metal. Drake Callihan runs across and tries to get involved but Jones grabs him by the throat and shoves him to the floor. In the ring, Robin Reborn springboards from the ropes and tries to nail Garcia with a dragonrana…

JK: He caught him….CLOVERLEAF!

Garcia catches Reborn on his shoulders and drops him to the mat before attempting to turn him over into the submission. Reborn twists and turns before he manages to kick Garcia away, then gets back up to his feet. Garcia scrambles back up and Reborn spins at him for a corkscrew roundhouse (Trouble in paradise)…..

DF: Missed him….

Garcia ducks the kick and then he boots Reborn in the stomach and drags him into position in the middle of the ring…..

JK: CATALINA….

Reborn pushes Garcia into the turnbuckle and then drops him with a backstabber as he falls back…………..1…………………………………………2…………………………….Garcia gets his shoulder up!

DF: It’s all going off….

In the aisleway, Tyler Roth lifts Jones up onto his shoulders and prepares to launch him into an F-5 but Jones scrambles off the back and grabs Roth by the throat for a chokeslam. Drake Callihan once again provides the distraction and Jones pushes Roth away and stalks Callihan back into the ringside area…

JK: This guy has got a bloody death wish…

DF: He is drawing the prey….OH SNAP!

Crowd: Holy (beep) x5

Drake Callihan looks scared as Jones follows him around the ring but then he begins to laugh and Jones looks confused. Callihan then motions for Jones to turn around and he does so, allowing Tyler Roth to charge forward and spear Jones through the security barricade and into the timekeeper’s area….

JK: Mr Jones was just broken in half….

DF: Draw and attack…..clever tactics indeed….

Callihan continues to laugh as he makes his way back to the ring and places Alex Garcia’s foot on the ropes just as the referee’s hand was about to come down for a three count….

JK: Reborn nailed that scissors kick and Garcia was done for there…

DF: Callihan is bringing it home tonight….

Reborn gets up and he points at Callihan and argues but Callihan merely smiles and pleads his innocence. The referee leans over the ropes and has a stern word with Callihan as Reborn drags Garcia up by the head…

JK: That was blatant….

DF: Referee wasn’t looking…

Garcia takes advantage of Callihan’s distraction and nails a low blow on Reborn before rolling up and hitting the stunner, leaving Reborn motionless in the centre of the ring. Callihan howls with laughter as Garcia makes the cover…

JK: Not this way…

1..
..
..
..
..
………2
..
..
..
..
..
……………..3!

DF: They did it…

JK: Thanks to Drake Callihan and a whole lot of backhanded tactics, FEAR have won the opening match here….

DF: I don’t like it anymore than you do, Johnny, but they got the job done….you can’t argue that fact…

JK: I can argue how they accomplished it….the low-blow, Callihan’s constant interference….the ring bell incident earlier…should I go on?

DF: These guys broke the rules, they are indefensible, but they won the match and that is all that will matter to them….Reborn and Jones were worthy adversaries but they never stood a chance with that rule-breaking…

JK: This is just becoming too much, it is every damn match and it needs to stop…Drake Callihan needs somebody to whoop that a55…

DF: Why don’t you make a challenge?

Tyler Roth pulls himself out of the wreckage of the timekeeper’s area and joins Drake Callihan and Alex Garcia, who are celebrating in the aisleway. Robin Reborn is coming round in the ring and telling the referee about the low-blow but the official can’t do anything about it. Mr Jones is still lying on the floor, amid the splintered metal…

DF: Look at Mr Jones, have you ever seen anyone do that to him? Tyler Roth is an animal…

JK; FEAR once again showing why they are such an incredible force….I don’t like it, but how can you argue…..things looking bleak once more for EWF…I thought Jones was the guy to stop them, but how?

DF: I thought so too but there is the proof in front of your eyes….I am not so sure anyone can stop them…

JK: I’m sure Reborn and Jones won’t give up trying but they fell short tonight….

DF: They….WELL I’LL BE DAMNED!

Garcia, Roth and Callihan reach the top of the stage and they continue to celebrate when Mr Jones sits bolt upright in the timekeeper’s area and his eyes are locked on the stage. The smiles drain from the faces of the FEAR members as they look back at Jones….

JK: How the hell is he sitting up?

DF: He just got speared through steel and he is by god getting to his feet…perhaps FEAR can’t keep this man down, maybe, just maybe there is a glimpse of hope after all…

JK: I don’t know if there is hope in the eyes of Mr Jones, but whatever it is I don’t think FEAR like the look of it…

Drake Callihan shakes his head and then orders his men to follow him into the backstage area. Robin Reborn is back on his feet in the ring and he and Jones receive a warm round of applause from the audience as the action goes backstage.

Official result: FEAR via pinfall
Match time: 16 minutes 14 seconds

EWF Presents Scars and Stripes Results Sunday May 26th 2013 Empty Re: EWF Presents Scars and Stripes Results Sunday May 26th 2013

Post by JJJohnson Mon 27 May 2013, 12:33 am

*We go backstage and there is a great ovation from the fans as Hero is standing by with Kelsey Hughes.

Kelsey: Hero, tonight is the night when finally, after a month of waiting, you get Enforcer in the ring, one on one, to settle the score between you. Tell us, after everything Enforcer has put you through, how much victory means to you tonight?

Hero: Victory, that isn’t even a word that means anything to me going into this match. Pinning Enforcer’s shoulders to the mat may prove my superiority over him but I have been there and done that, he really doesn’t get the message that way. The only way I can settle the score with E is by fighting him at his own game, by dragging him down into the trenches and making him suffer the way he has made me suffer. There is no other way of finishing this whole saga with Enforcer, he needs to be put in a place where I know he will never come back from.

Kelsey: And how is little Austin coping with all this? Is he aware of what is going on?

Hero: He knows that me and his “uncle” don’t talk any more, but I don’t want him to know about the severity of the situation until he is older, this isn’t the sort of environment I want him to be around. I feel bad that I ever brought Enforcer into his life, in a way I feel guilty for what is happening now…but once I get through this with a win, when I get rid of Enforcer once and for all….I can go back to being a dad to my son and making sure he doesn’t have to deal with a problem like this ever again!

Kelsey: The last few weeks have seen Enforcer try to attack you, sometimes successfully but other times not so, are you worried about what lengths he may go to in this fight?

Hero: As I said earlier, tonight I am going to do everything and anything that Enforcer may try and do to me…he is the one that should be worried, because this isn’t loveable rogue Hero you see before you this evening…..this is the Hero that has brought whole wrestling promotions to their knees with his dominance….this is the Hero who has ended careers and tonight I am going to add another name to that decorated list….

???: And I am shivering in my boots…

*The crowd boo as Enforcer steps forwards into the camera shot. Hero swells with anger.

Enforcer: Save it for the ring, Hero, I am not going to humiliate you in front of your little bimbo….

*Kelsey looks at Enforcer, scathingly

Enforcer: I just came here to tell you that don’t worry yourself about little Austin…..when tonight is over and your broken and mangled, probably confined to a wheelchair for the rest of your pitiful life…..probably unable to talk or communicate at all from the severe brain damage……Austin won’t have to go back to his lady of loose morals of a mother…….he can come and live with his uncle Enforcer…..I’ll show him how to be a real man…

*Enforcer grins widely as Hero snarls in a rage

Hero: You’ll never be a real man……..tonight, I’ll prove that to you…

*Hero barges past Enforcer and heads toward the entranceway, leaving Big E with an arrogant smile on his face.

Post by JJJohnson Mon 27 May 2013, 12:33 am

*The scene changes and Carlton Jacobs is surrounded by three security guards as Alex Garcia, Tyler Roth and Drake Callihan enter the picture.

Callihan: Mr Jacobs, to what do we owe the pleasure of this welcome party?

Jacobs: That’s far enough…

*The security step forward and block FEAR from getting any closer to the interviewer. FEAR laugh

Callihan: This really is unnecessary…

Jacobs: I’ll be the judge of that….the Board of Directors have granted me my own security after you did to me.

Callihan: You were a victim of circumstance, Mr Jacobs, we have no direct problem with you.

Jacobs: I don’t care…..I just have a few questions….

Callihan: Then ask away…

Jacobs: Tonight is being billed in some quarters as the night that FEAR rises to prominence in the EWF….and after winning your first match of the evening, it would certainly seem like those proclamations are true?

Callihan: FEAR has been rising in this industry since day one and tonight isn’t about being prominent, we already run this show…..tonight is about cementing our place as the leaders in this promotion. The Board of Directors are scared of us….the staff (he points at Jacobs) are scared of us…..and the losers that occupy the locker-room are scared of us…….there is only one more jewel left to place in our illustrious crown…..once the world heavyweight championship belongs to FEAR, there is nothing that can stop us…..EWF have thrown everything at us and they haven’t even dented the surface….Mr Jones and Robin Reborn are the latest challengers to our regime and they fell just like the rest of them….I don’t care how many times Jones gets up…Garcia….Roth…..FEAR will put him back down…

Jacobs: Last week on Conflict there seemed to be a sense of dissension in the ranks between Dario Machiavelli and Ojore……care to elaborate on that matter?

Callihan: I can assure you that the “Chief” has everything under control…..Ojore is as loyal as they come to FEAR and he will lay down his life for this cause if he had to…..Dario, well he is somewhat of an enigma, I will admit, me and him don’t always see eye to eye…..but the “Chief” has great belief in Machiavelli and we are not in a position to doubt that…..instead we shall rally, we shall support the cause with everything we have and tonight we will build the final part of our vast kingdom…..FEAR shall take the throne, we shall rule forever more…

Jacobs: And what about Vincent Costello? Does he have anything to do with FEAR? Are you denying that Ojore tried to let Costello win the main event last week?

Callihan: Open up your eyes Mr Callihan and see the bigger picture here. Do you think we could do business with a man like Vincent Costello? A man who only thinks of himself, a man who shows no loyalty, no passion for support……Vincent Costello is not a creation of FEAR, he is merely a by-product of the side-effects….it goes a long way to show the disarray that EWF is in when they put their hopes and dreams on a jackal such as Costello….he has no morals, no affiliation….he will sell you down the river for just another day in the hall of champions….

FEAR has manipulated this situation to the best of our abilities….you have seen everything that we wish you to see….but tonight is the grand unveiling….tonight is the beginning of the end…..tonight, brick by brick, the resolve of EWF shall disintegrate….

You have been warned, Mr Jacobs…..

Welcome to the revolution!

*All three men laugh and they look at the security and then at Carlton Jacobs before turning away and heading into the FEAR area of the arena.

EWF Presents Scars and Stripes Results Sunday May 26th 2013 Empty Re: EWF Presents Scars and Stripes Results Sunday May 26th 2013

Post by JJJohnson Mon 27 May 2013, 12:33 am

*The scene changes and Hugh Cartwright is standing outside the VIP area of the Elite Coliseum. Five security guards are in front of him.

Cartwright: The fans have a right to know what is going on…

*The head security guard steps in front of Cartwright

Security: Sorry sir but we have strict instructions to not let anyone inside this area.

Cartwright: Then please go inside and bring one of the Board members out…..you cannot put on a show and expect the fans to pay for it when they don’t have a clue what is happening right now….EWF is only adding to the problem…

Security: Sir, please step back and remove yourself from this area before we are forced to take matters into our own hands…

Cartwright: But…

*Suddenly the door of the VIP area opens and Mr Riley steps out

Riley: It’s ok, Matthews, Mr Cartwright is just trying to do his job.

Security: I don’t think you should be out in plain sight sir…

Riley: This won’t take long….

*Riley looks at Hugh Cartwright and smiles

Riley: What can I do you Hugh?

Cartwright: Just a couple of quick questions Mr Riley. First of all, the entire Board of Directors are here tonight…….there are rumours of an announcement…..what is happening?

Riley: There will be a formal announcement later this evening, Hugh, I can’t be too revealing on details but put it this way, the problem is going to get solved.

Cartwright: What does that mean? Are you going to be dealing with FEAR directly? Or are there other problems?

Riley: There isn’t one singular issue here, although FEAR is obviously top priority. We as a collective are unhappy with our investment and together we have had to come together in order to make a big decision. From day one there has been problems in one way or another and for us to get up to the top of this industry, challenging the titans, then changes need to be made. If those changes cannot be adopted then we are going to need to find an alternative resolution.

Cartwright: So are you saying that HyperEx are considering pulling their financial backing?

Riley: I am not saying anything right now, but all will become clear in time. A lot of us have ploughed and invested a lot of money into EWF and so far there isn’t much to show for it. We still don’t have a television deal, our crowds are barely breaking the 3,000 mark, sponsorship levels are down, as well as the countless injuries and quite frankly, mediocre talent that have been signed to this promotion.

Cartwright: How do you mean?

Riley: I’m not talking about your Vipers, Costellos or anyone like that….but we have given lucrative contracts to superstars such as E-Unit, Wade Kelvin, Jason Sparkz and Bryan Wells…but where is the payback? Where was the comeback on those deals? We still have to pay those contracts off, despite the fact that none of them have done anything for our long-term program….some may have been injured but the fact is that regular checks were not completed when these guys joined up…..thorough medical tests, examinations should have taken place but they didn’t….

The continuity, the consistency of the shows is a concern….the standard of wrestling is top draw, most of the action is compelling but there is still a lot of problems….Daniel Magnusson ordered a “Rookie’s Row” match last month, but the winner still doesn’t have a prize……he started on a monumental scale with the “Iron Man” concept but where is the other “ground breaking concepts” that were promised…..EWF has not progressed in the last four months and now something has to change…

We are not meeting targets…our roster size is disappointing, revenue and marketing is dwindling…..we can point the finger at FEAR all we want, they are a major reason for this downfall….but there are other agents at work here and we need to sort it out…..tonight is the last chance to make something happen…

Cartwright: Is the decision of the Board of Directors final?

Riley: If we vote on a majority then yes we have the final say on what happens. We are toying between two different schemes right now, the outcome of tonight shall determine which route we decide to take.

Cartwright: Thanks for your time, Mr Riley…

Riley: Not a problem, Hugh, we are all together in this crisis….I just hope we can all come through the tunnel on the other side…

*Riley nods and then turns back away and into the VIP area, closing the door behind him. Security flank the door once more as Cartwright leaves the scene and the action goes back to ringside.

EWF Presents Scars and Stripes Results Sunday May 26th 2013 Empty Re: EWF Presents Scars and Stripes Results Sunday May 26th 2013

Post by JJJohnson Mon 27 May 2013, 12:42 am

Match 2
Enforcer vs Hero

We are back at ringside and the crowd in attendance are making a lot of noise as the lights dim down and smoke begins to billow out from underneath the curtain. The familiar green lasers cut through the darkness before “Absolute zero” echoes out of the speakers, signaling the arrival of Hero.

JK: 3,000 inside the Elite Coliseum are ready for an intense, personal war between two veterans of the game…

DF: These fans are not going to be disappointed….the Hero/Enforcer saga has been brewing for years, tonight at Scars and Stripes their storybook rivalry adds a new chapter….

Hero walks out on the stage, his face full of controlled rage, and he nods in appreciation of the fans’ support before beginning to walk down the ramp toward the ring. He reaches out and slaps the hands of the fans around ringside before climbing up onto the apron and vaulting over the top rope.

JK: Hero signed for EWF in attempt at one last chance at reaching the mountain top….he wanted to prove that he still has what it takes to compete with the best…but barely a month into his EWF career and a 300 pound spanner was thrown in the works…

DF: Enforcer said he was sick and tired of being cast in Hero’s shadow….that Hero didn’t deserve “one more chance” and that he was going to end the career of Hero for good….that was last month and since then these men have attacked each other on several occasions, tonight they get to settle it once and for all…

JK: This started back in 2009 in 6WF, started when Hero de-throned Enforcer for the world championship….Enforcer has never forgiven Hero for that….

Hero paces the ring, looking ready for action, when “Saturday Night” roars out of the speakers and is greeted by a wall of boos from the passionate audience. Red pyros explode up into the air and then Enforcer walks onto the stage, a smile on his face.

DF: Enforcer looks ready….he looks in even better shape than he did back in ’09……you really have to wonder if all that time away from the ring will benefit him? He is going to be fresher than Hero…

JK: But nobody has more experience than the Alpha Male….he has gotten the better of Enforcer on so many occasions before now…..what is going to change that tonight?

DF: The fact that Enforcer is inside Hero’s head? He threatened his son….he made this personal and Hero might not be thinking straight…

JK: Well I can’t answer that….all I know is that Enforcer is a bad a55 individual and Hero is not intimidated in the slightest….these two men are going to war right now and I don’t think we are ever going to forget what we witness….

Enforcer taunts the fans as he swaggers down the rampway before climbing up on the apron. Hero makes a beeline for him but the referee holds him back and Big E begins to mock his opponent…

JK: Hero doesn’t want to wait around…

DF: Of course he doesn’t…..he wants to get started…

The referee tries to restrain Hero as Enforcer gets in the ring but the Alpha Male pushes the official to the ground and rushes forwards, ploughing his boot into the ribcage of Enforcer and knocking him back into the corner. Hero opens up with brutal lefts and rights as the contest gets underway…

JK: Hero is putting everything into those punches…he wants Enforcer to feel every shot…

Enforcer tries to cover up as Hero continues to rain down punches on him, only for the official to intervene and drag Hero out of the corner. Hero turns around and pushes the referee away again before running back into the corner, only to feel Enforcer’s boot in his gut….

DF: Hero needs to watch where he is putting his hands on that referee, he is going to get disqualified…

JK: I really don’t think that matters to Hero….you heard him before, he doesn’t care about “winning”, he just wants Enforcer to be finished for good…

Enforcer slams hard right hands into the head of Hero and knocks him back to the centre of the ring before grabbing his arm and whipping him back into the corner. He follows in for a bodysplash but Hero drives his knees up into the chest of Big E, sending him back, and then turns on his heel and springboards onto the turnbuckle before floating back….

DF: Sunset flip…………..SHARPSHOOTER!

Hero rolls over the top of Big E and drags him into a pinning combo before trying to turn him into a submission. Enforcer scrambles and then kicks out with both feet, sending Hero toppling backwards into the turnbuckle. Hero is quickly back up and he runs in at Enforcer, only to be lifted up and drilled with a backbreaker…………………………………1……………………………………..2…………………shoulder up!

JK: Victory really does mean everything to Enforcer, on the other hand, he wants this more than anything….

DF: He wants to back up his claims that he really is superior to Hero…

Enforcer drags Hero up by the head but takes three hard punches to the midsection and then Hero sits down into a jawbreaker that sends Big E staggering back into the corner. Hero rolls to his feet and chases in for a shining wizard but Enforcer ducks his shoulder and counters with a backdrop that sends Hero over the ropes and onto the apron….

JK: Hero landed on his feet…

Hero grabs the back of Enforcer’s hair and drags him to the mat before slingshotting himself back over the top rope and into a legdrop……………………..1……………………..2……………..Enforcer kicks out. Both men get back up and Hero lashes hard chops into the chest of Enforcer and then looks for an irish whip, but Big E reverses it…

DF: Handspring…

Hero dives into the handspring and then fires back with a beautiful corkscrew elbow takedown. Enforcer gets back up and Hero dropkicks him through the ropes onto the apron before running to the corner and he springboards onto the turnbuckle as Big E clambers up on the apron…

JK; Hero gonna fly….WOW!

Crowd: Holy (beep) x7

DF: Hero is hell bent on ending Enforcer tonight…

Hero springboards from the turnbuckle, over the topes, and catches Enforcer with a hurricanrana that sends both men flying off the apron and Enforcer crashes heavily into the ringside barrier. Hero slowly gets back to his feet and he draws on the energy of the crowd before sprinting back over and dropkicking Enforcer’s head against the steel barrier…

JK: Hero really isn’t playing around here….

DF: He said this was the “old” Hero and he wasn’t lying….no remorse at all in those eyes, he wants to hurt Enforcer badly….

Enforcer is groggy as he tries to stagger up and Hero whips hard kicks into the back of his legs, knocking Enforcer back down, before he springs up onto the apron and asai moonsaults back across the prone body of his opponent. Hero stomps down on his opponent before climbing up on the security barrier and he poses for the fans before jumping off and landing a legdrop across Enforcer’s throat….

JK: Hero wants to make sure that there is nothing left of Enforcer…

DF: This moving toward a double countout…

The referee’s count reaches seven as Hero grabs Enforcer by the top of the tights and dumps him back under the bottom rope. Big E tries to stumble back up as Hero scales to the top rope and then dives off with a well-timed missile dropkick……………………………..1………………………………….2…………………..Enforcer gets his shoulder up!

JK: Not enough to put away Enforcer yet….

DF: Hero is going to need his fullest arsenal to take care of Enforcer tonight……

Hero pulls Enforcer up and tries to lift him into a suplex but Enforcer keeps his footing and then lifts Hero into a jackhammer position, only for Hero to float over the back and push Enforcer off the ropes before detonating a superkick on his jaw as he comes back. Hero works the crowd into a frenzy before darting off the ropes…

JK: ROLLING THUNDER!

Hero rolls back into the senton splash across the chest of Enforcer and then he beckons him back to his feet and kicks him in the gut….

DF: ENCORE!

Enforcer pushes Hero away, avoiding the stunner, and then rolls from the ring to escape. The crowd boo as Enforcer taps his head, signalling he is too smart, not aware that Hero has already climbed up the ropes to the top….

JK: HERE WE GO!

Crowd: That was awe-some x5

The flashbulbs go off as Hero dives from the top and slams into Enforcer with a crossbody in the aisleway, taking both men to the ground. Hero gets back up to his feet, darkness in his eyes, and he rags Enforcer up and whips him forward…..BOOM!

DF: Enforcer just went for a ride, that will leave a mark…

Enforcer slams into the steel steps, chest-first, and sends then flying across the floor. Hero nods his head in satisfaction before dragging Enforcer up and throwing him back into the ring. Hero climbs in on the count of seven and he ignores the warning from the referee as he follows Big E into the centre of the ring and grabs him by the head….

JK: What a punch….

Enforcer unloads with a huge right uppercut to the stomach of Hero, almost sending the Alpha Male flying across the ring. Hero is doubled up, winded, as Enforcer clambers back to his feet and he gutwrenches Hero into a huge suplex….

DF: That’s the power that Enforcer possesses….that one punch changed the whole complexion of this fight….

JK: Hero looked like he was struggling to breathe….

DF: I’ve seen Heavyweight boxers be dropped from less than that….

Hero makes his way back up and Enforcer punches him back to the corner before opening up with a vicious mudhole stomp. He presses Hero’s head back against the turnbuckle and rams hard elbows into the jaw of his rival before whipping him across the opposite side with such power that Hero hits the turnbuckle and collapses to the floor.

DF: Enforcer does not look happy about the spell of dominance Hero was enjoying….

JK: I’m sure that wasn’t a part of his plan….

Enforcer cracks his neck and his knuckles before he walks over and drags Hero back to his feet, lifting him into a solid suplex. Enforcer then repeats the process five more times, demonstrating his power as he continuously suplexes Hero against the canvass. The crowd are booing as Enforcer then drops to his knees and makes the cover……………………………………..1…………………………………………..2……………………………………thr-Hero gets his shoulder up!

DF: Enforcer is enjoying this, the sight of Hero at his mercy…..he loves it…

JK: But he needs to keep him there…..and history shows that keeping Hero down is not an easy task….

Enforcer stands up and he stomps down on Hero’s back before pulling him up and pushes him against the ropes. Hero comes back and Enforcer lifts him into a flapjack position before just throwing him against the mat. Big E runs off the ropes and returns with a jumping kneedrop to the back of Hero’s head…

JK: This is starting to resemble a beatdown now…

DF: The powergame of Enforcer is having an effect….

Hero tries to crawl back up as Enforcer drives heavy knees into his kidneys before pulling him back into the middle of the ring and he flips Hero up onto his shoulders…

JK: May be thinking Torture Rack…

DF: Or demolition!

Enforcer spins Hero around and then drops to his knees, sending his shoulder upwards and executing a sickening modified backbreaker to his opponent. Hero rolls away in pain as Enforcer then uses the ropes to leap up into the air and drive all of his bodyweight down ontop of Hero’s back….

DF: Going after the back time and again…smart tactics…..Hero won’t be as fast or athletic if he is feeling the pace…

The referee warns Enforcer after four times and Enforcer smirks as he backs off, leaving Hero to slump in the corner. Enforcer watches the worried faces of the audience before he runs back into the corner and drives his knee against the head of Hero, leaving his foe slumped on his face. Enforcer then drags Hero away from the ropes and he slaps him around the back of the head in a mocking manner, taunting Hero to stand back up…

JK: Enforcer is playing with his food now….just get it over and done with….

DF: He’s taking his time….savouring the moment….

Hero is holding the bottom of his back as he tries to stumble up and Enforcer grins widely as he waits for Hero to turn around and then gives him the finger and kicks him in the stomach…

DF: ENCORE!

The crowd boo as Enforcer looks to use Hero’s own finishing move on him but Hero counters with a bridging German suplex…………………………………..1…………………………………………2………………….Enforcer gets his shoulder up. Enforcer quickly gets back to his feet, an angry look on his face, and he kicks Hero in the stomach before flipping him into the air….

JK:POWER….

Hero slams punches down into the top of Enforcer’s head, blocking the powerbomb, and then counters out with a headscissors that sends Big E sprawling across the middle ropes. Hero staggers up and he rubs his back before running across the ring and comes back…

DF: 619!

The crowd erupt into cheers as Hero flies back and slingshots through the ropes with the kick that sends Enforcer rolling back across the canvass. Hero then clambers up on the apron and he grips the top rope before springboarding back in….

JK: Tornado DDT…..he got it all….

Enforcer’s head bounces off the mat as the spinning DDT connects from Hero…
..
..
….1
..
..
………..2
..
..
……………………….shoulder up from Enforcer!

DF: Still isn’t enough though….

EWF Presents Scars and Stripes Results Sunday May 26th 2013 Empty Re: EWF Presents Scars and Stripes Results Sunday May 26th 2013

Post by JJJohnson Mon 27 May 2013, 12:43 am

Hero slams punches into the head of Enforcer and looks for an irish whip but Big E is too strong and reverses, sending Hero into the ropes…

JK: Tilt a whirl…..OH JEEZ!

DF: Awesome…

Enforcer tilt-a-whirls Hero up on the comeback but Hero locks his legs around the midriff of Big E, his body around the back and then he front flips into a sensational flipping powerbomb that snaps Enforcer’s head off the mat…………………………………………………………….1……………………………………………………….2……………………………………….shoulder up!

JK: Hero has always been the master of the amazing improvisation….

Hero holds his head in his hands as he gets back up to his feet and he looks out to the crowd and breathes deeply before heading to the corner and beginning to climb. He holds the bottom of his back as he tries to get to the top…

DF: Hero is really feeling it in the back….

Enforcer gets up and he slams a hard right hand into the face of Hero, dropping him into a seated position on the top rope, before beginning to climb up himself. The crowd boo as Enforcer headbutts Hero and rocks him with more punches before pulling him into a front facelock….

JK: If the back is hurting now then it is only going to get worse in a moment….

DF: SUPERPLEX!

Hero throws a barrage of punches to the body of Enforcer, winding him, and then he jumps up on the shoulders of Hero and spins around his shoulders before nailing an amazing reverse frankensteiner from the top rope…

JK: UNREAL!

Crowd: That was awe-some x7

Enforcer lands heavily on his chest and he looks in a lot of pain as Hero sucks it up and makes it back to his feet. He looks to the crowd and nods his head before running to the ropes and diving into a springboard…

DF: LIONSAULT!

The springboard moonsault lands to the body of Enforcer and Hero makes the cover…

JK: He kicked out?

DF: My god he did….but I just don’t know how….

JK: Neither does Hero….he felt that was enough…

DF: It should have been…

Hero rubs sweat off his brow as he staggers back up to his feet and watches Enforcer trying to get back to his feet before he sprints off the ropes and comes flying back…

DF: CANADIAN DESTROYER!

Enforcer catches Hero on his back, blocking the piledriver, and he tries to counter with an Alabama slam but Hero crawls down the back into a rollup position but instead he falls backwards and slingshots Enforcer into the corner. Enforcer’s head hits the turnbuckle and Hero follows in with a shining wizard to the back of Big E’s head before springboarding onto the ropes as Enforcer staggers out…

JK: Disaster kick….the impact will end it…

Enforcer’s head is like a football as Hero drives his foot against the skull and knocks his opponent to the ground again…

…………………..Enforcer gets his shoulder up!

DF: I knew Enforcer was tough….but this is insane…

Enforcer rolls out of the ring to try and regain some composure as Hero had a word with the referee about the speed of the counts. The official assures Hero that they were definite two counts and Hero nods his head before running across the ring and baseball sliding under the bottom rope into a kick that knocks Enforcer to the ground again…

JK: Hero is not slowing down, not giving up….

DF: He can’t afford to…..Enforcer has threatened his entire life, you don’t just let someone get away with that….

Enforcer tries to use the steel steps to get back up to his feet but Hero grabs him by the shoulder and plants his head against the steel before pulling him around and throws him back into the ring. Hero climbs back up on the apron and he slingshots himself into a plancha across the chest of Enforcer in the ring….

JK: Hero gaining all the offense now….

DF: He needs to make the most of it though…

Enforcer stumbles back up and Hero knocks him down again with a hard roundhouse kick to the side of the head before making his way to the corner and he begins to climb the ropes. Enforcer is down and out on the mat as Hero makes it to the top rope…

JK: MOONSAULT!

Hero flips through the air for the impressive moonsaut but Enforcer rolls away in time to avoid the impact. It looks like Hero is heading for a crash landing but he amazingly lands on his feet and staggers back slightly as Enforcer gets up and charges at him…

DF: FACECHECK!

Hero ducks the flying forearm smash and sends Enforcer crashing into the opposite ringpost, splitting a cut across his left eye. The crowd gasp at the severity of the cut, blood dripping all over the canvass immediately, and Enforcer turns back around and takes a solid boot to the stomach…

JK: ENCORE…..ENCORE……ENCORE!

The crowd jump to their feet as Hero lands the stunner on Enforcer, dropping his nemesis to the canvass. Hero looks at the blood all over the canvass and he nods his head in satisfaction before dropping an arm over Enforcer’s chest and making the cover…

DF: Enforcer made one little mistake and it cost him…

JK: That’s what happens when your up against a superstar the calibre of Hero…

DF: HE KICKED OUT!

JK: No chance…

DF: He did….the referee is calling it, look…

The crowd are counting along with the referee and they all look in shock as Enforcer pushes his shoulder up off the canvass at two and nine tenths. Hero looks absolutely dumb-founded as the referee tells him it was a two count and the match must continue…

JK: Even with that heinous cut over the eye and after taking Hero’s best shot, Enforcer will still not stay down…

DF: He is one tough son of a (beep) there is no doubting that….he is hell-bent on proving how good he is tonight….

Hero punches the mat with anger and then slowly gets back to his feet, fire in his eyes. He talks to himself as he waits for Enforcer to get back to his feet and then he gives him the finger and kicks him in the stomach…

JK: Gonna go again…..ENCORE!

Enforcer blocks the stunner this time and he pushes Hero away to the ropes and then waits for him to come back before lifting him into a sickening urange backbreaker. He holds him there for a few seconds, the blood dripping from the side of his face, and then uses his immense strength to lift Hero up onto his shoulders….

DF: JACKKNIFE….

The crowd are stunned as Enforcer raises Hero over his head and then drills him into the canvass with the destructive powerbomb, leaving Hero completely motionless. Enforcer rubs some of the blood out of his eye as he drops down to make the cover…

JK: Sensational heart….the determination to stay alive in this match is incredible…

DF: Neither man wants to give this up….

Enforcer looks at the referee in confusion as the signal for a two count is give. He shakes his head and grabs the referee by the front of the shirt but the official pulls himself free and warns Enforcer that the match must continue. Big E looks annoyed before turning back around and screaming for Hero to get back to his feet. Hero is hurting, suffering with his back, but eventually he makes it back to a vertical base and Enforcer rushes toward him…

JK: FACECHECK!

Hero counters with a superkick out of nowhere, dropping Enforcer to his knees in the blink of an eye. Hero then takes advantage and runs off the ropes…

DF: CANADIAN….

Hero comes back for the flipping piledriver but Enforcer catches him on his back and spins him around before running him into a belly to back piledriver….

JK: Hero crawled out…..rollup!

……………Enforcer just kicks out. Big E darts back up to his feet and he kicks Hero in the stomach and hammers him back with right hands before irish whipping him into the turnbuckle with power. Enforcer is struggling to see from all the blood in his eye and he wipes it away as best as he can and then runs in after Hero….

DF: Nobody home…

Enforcer looks for the splash but Hero moves and sends Big E crashing against the turnbuckle. He hobbles back around and Hero pulls out a pele kick from nowhere…

JK: That just opened the door for Hero….his chance now…

DF: It’s all or nothing from here….

Enforcer hits the deck like a tonne of bricks and Hero quickly staggers over to the corner and begins to climb up the ropes. He gazes out at the crowd as the flashbulbs begin to go off and he reaches the top of the turnbuckle….

JK: Hero is trying to finish this…………….BEST MOONSAULT EVER!

DF: NEEDS TO WORK ON THE LANDING….

Hero comes flying back for the moonsault but Enforcer drives his knees up at the last moment and drills them into the stomach of Hero with real venom. Hero rolls across the canvass and looks in a lot of pain as Enforcer blinks back the blood and uses the ropes to pull himself back to a vertical base…

JK: What has Enforcer got left in his locker….

DF: HOW ABOUT THAT!

The crowd groan as Enforcer rushes out of the corner and catches Hero with a big boot that causes the Alpha Male to flip in a full revolution before landing on his face in the centre of the ring. Enforcer raises both of his hands to his face and he wipes the blood away, staining his palms with crimson before rubbing the blood across his chest with a sick smile. He points to the crowd and laughs….

Enforcer: Look at your Hero now….look at this pitiful excuse for a man before me….he is nothing……….nothing!

JK: Enforcer needs to do less talking and get this over with…

DF: Hero’s done for…..Enforcer can take as long as he wants……………FACECHECK!

JK: YOU WERE SAYING!

Enforcer continues to laugh at the crowd and then turns around and sprints toward Hero for the flying forearm but Hero counters with a drop toe hold at the very last second. He turns Enforcer over onto his back and grabs his legs….

DF: SHARPSHOOTER!

Enforcer desperately tries to scramble free as Hero locks his leg into position and attempts to turn his opponent over onto his stomach. Enforcer’s blood stained face is a picture of desperation as he wriggles backwards and then grabs the ropes with both hands, causing the referee to intervene. Enforcer quickly gets back to his feet and he tries to take the Hero out with a running axe handle but Hero ducks underneath it and kicks Enforcer in the stomach….

JK: ENCORE…

DF: DAMN!

……………………..3!

JK: It’s over….

Hero looks for the stunner but Enforcer pushes Hero away and toward the referee. The official closes his eyes, expecting the impact, but Hero pulls up short and stops himself. He makes sure the referee is ok, allowing Enforcer to run the ropes and crush Hero with the “Facecheck” as he comes back. The referee counts the three and the match is over!

DF: Hero dawdled for just one second…

JK: He didn’t want to see another victim of Enforcer’s quest but that moment of compassion for the referee cost him this match….Enforcer took full advantage and he has the victory…

“Saturday night” is blaring out as Enforcer kneels over Hero with a grin on his bloody face. He nods his head with triumph and then raises a lone fist in the air as the crowd boo him furiously. Hero is unmoving as Big E gets to his feet and demands that the referee raise his arm again…

DF: Enforcer taking great pride in this win……finally he has shown that he can match the great Hero…

JK: I’m not saying anything….it was a terrific match but it took a momentary distraction to allow him to get the win…

DF: Distraction or not, Hero lost focus and Enforcer didn’t…..I know he is a sick-minded individual but he is a deserved winner tonight….he looks in great shape…

JK: The rest of EWF will have to beware…..Enforcer means business right now…

DF: It’ll be interesting to see how Hero responds to this defeat…I have never known the Alpha Male to just roll over and die, I expect he will be back…

JK: He will indeed….but right now the moment is Enforcers’, he picks up a huge victory here at Scars and Stripes…

DF: This event just keeps getting better and better….

JK: And there is still much more to come here tonight…

Enforcer gets to the top of the stage and continues to bask in his victory as the referee checks on Hero in the middle of the ring.

Official result: Enforcer via pinfall
Match time: 14 minutes 31 seconds

Post by JJJohnson Mon 27 May 2013, 12:52 am

*The action goes backstage and Vincent Costello is shown in his locker-room, staring at the EWF Championship that is resting on a table in front of him. He slicks his hair back and breathes deeply as Jimmy Phillips comes barging into the room.

Phillips: We need to talk…

Costello: You want to go early punk?

*Costello stands up and fronts Phillips, who just stares into his eyes.

Phillips: Last week at Conflict….Ojore tried to help you win that match….

*Costello just grins and attempts to walk away but Phillips drags him back, bringing a snarl to Costello’s face.

Phillips: I’m talking to you…..and I am telling Vincent, if your working with them….double-crossing EWF….then me relieving you of your world championship tonight is the least of your concerns…

*Costello looks Phillips up and down and then glares into his eyes

Costello: I don’t need to justify myself to you…..or anyone for that matter…

*Phillips grabs Costello by the front of his shirt

Phillips: Perhaps I need to convince you…

Costello: You don’t worry me Phillips, not even in the minutest of sense…so run along…

Phillips: I’m warning you…

Costello: And I am shivering with fear….oops I said “fear”, does that make me a bad guy now? Newsflash, I am a bad guy….and I do whatever the hell I want, when I want…..I said I was on the side of EWF, you either accept that or you get the hell out of my face….I don’t need to give you any more than that….

*Phillips looks annoyed as he releases the front of Costello’s shirt

Phillips: I mean what I say…

Costello: I’m sure you do…but right now your just as suspicious as I am….just like Conrad…..and Wood….and anyone else wearing the “EWF” jersey…..face facts boy scout, you don’t know a damn think about any of those guys….you don’t know who you can really trust….at least with me, what you see is what you damn well get….now I suggest you drop the Sherlock Holmes act and go get ready….i’ve got one hell of an a55 whooping lined up for you later…I’ll be the guy holding the shiny belt….because unlike you, I actually matter to this company….

*Costello smirks as Phillips takes a look at the EWF Championship and then shakes his head, exiting the room. Costello continues to stare at the doorway with a glint in his eye as the scene changes.

*The scene changes and Ojore is standing in a dimly lit room, dressed for his upcoming match. The FEAR giant is staring into the darkness when a voice begins to speak to him.

???: Machiavelli still hasn’t arrived?

Ojore: No sir…

???: Interesting…..well you still have your orders, Ojore, despite what outside faculties may occur….are you ready?

Ojore: Ojore is ready…tonight Mike Conrad’s bones be crushed…

???: And the final part of the puzzle shall be put in place….EWF crumbles…

Ojore: And then FEAR rules all….

???: Exactly…

Ojore: What if Dario not show?

???: Machiavelli will be here…despite the differences of opinion recently I know he is still loyal to our cause. He was selected at the very beginning and he will want to see this through. He may have to search inside himself for an answer but he will find it, when he does….he will be here.

Ojore: Then the plan goes ahead?

???: Yes….once Machiavelli is here then the rest shall fall into place….tonight is our night….FEAR shall take its place at the forefront of this company and none shall stand in our way….dominance will be ours!

Ojore: Ojore like the sound of that…oh yes…

???: Now go out there and show the world a preview of what is coming…make Mike Conrad your sacrifice…..this is your moment Ojore…

Ojore: I am ready…

*Ojore bows to the darkness and then turns on his heel and marches out of the door.

Post by JJJohnson Mon 27 May 2013, 12:56 am

*The scene changes and the crowd cheer as Mike Conrad is shown with Hugh Cartwright. Security are littered all around the lobby area.

Cartwright: Mike, just a few moments from now you will head out into the arena here at Scars and Stripes to go one on one with Ojore for the Anarchy Championship…..this is a new championship in EWF, so obviously it is new ground…but with the EWF/FEAR war in full flow, do you feel the pressure to deliver a victory?

Conrad: I’m a professional wrestler, there is always a pressure to deliver victory. I’m not dismissing the question Hugh, but the pressure would be there whether this war was going on or not. The only difference is that within myself I am desperate to win because I would hate to hand another millimetre of momentum to FEAR….I don’t want to be responsible for them getting one step closer to utter dominance, so tonight I have to do whatever it takes to make sure I win.

Cartwright: The rules of the Anarchy division state that matches will be contested under “no holds barred” rulings and that falls will count anywhere…is this something that you feel ready to adapt to? Can you see yourself thriving in this sort of environment?

Conrad: I think the Anarchy division is a perfect fit for me, I really do. I grew up wanting to emulate guys like Terry Funk and Mick Foley, I am very passionate about the more “extreme” side of professional wrestling so yeah this is my kind of fight. I also feel like as new division, I can help to define it and be a part of history, something that means a lot to me. Whenever you go up against FEAR you know that it isn’t going to be a fair fight….at least in this type of environment I can call upon a few of my own equalizers to even the score…..

*Conrad reaches down and picks up his trademark trashcan, drawing more cheers from the crowd

Conrad: Ojore is a beast….he’s a wild animal…..and tonight he is coming to try and put me out of action for good…..I need to draw upon the energy of this fantastic crowd….inhabit the spirit of EWF and take the fight to him like never before….I am confident and I am ready to go to whatever lengths I have to….tonight Ojore is going to see what Mike Conrad is all about…

Cartwright: Just before you go Mike…..what do you think of all the security around here and the arrival of the Board of Directors? Do you have any idea what announcement they will be making tonight….?

Conrad: I try and keep myself way clear of corporate matters….I’ll let them figure out what they want to do…I’ll just be out there like I always am, putting in 100% for the people that matter…..EWF may be run by men in suits, but it is kept alive by the people that pay their money to watch us do our thing…so tonight this is for them….

*Conrad gives the camera the thumbs up and the crowd roar as he walks away from Cartwright and heads for the entranceway.

EWF Presents Scars and Stripes Results Sunday May 26th 2013 Empty Re: EWF Presents Scars and Stripes Results Sunday May 26th 2013

Post by JJJohnson Mon 27 May 2013, 12:57 am

*We change scene once more and Kelsey Hughes has been joined by a very eerie looking Mr Jones.

Kelsey: I have been joined at this time by Mr Jones, who earlier tonight came up short in a tag team bout against FEAR. Now Mr Jones, despite this setback….I understand you have an announcement to make?

Jones: Unofficially I have something to say….I am not looking for permission or the gratitude of others, I am merely here to make a statement of my intent. Whether it is tonight…..next week or a month from now…the issues that have arose between myself and FEAR are far from over, that is a promise…

They think attacking me from behind…or jumping me in numbers is enough, but it really isn’t….it will never be enough. Slamming me through the security barricade wasn’t enough…nothing you can do to me will ever keep me down….

When you wake in the middle of the night…..when you leave your house to go to work in the morning…..when you are all alone with nobody to watch your back….I can strike at any time….and I will, I will have my vengeance on each of you….I will show you what true FEAR really is….

Kelsey: And will you be reforming your partnership with Robin Reborn any time soon?

Jones: Doubtful….I am not the kind of man to disrespect an ally but I am not a compatible for team exercise. I was built with the purpose of a lone wolf….I was chosen to fulfill my duties by my self and that is exactly what I intend on doing…

Whether I share a common bond or enemy with others is irrelevant…..what is mine belongs to me and it will stay that way……I am the man with the capabilities to stopping FEAR…..and that is exactly what I am going to do…

Alex Garcia….Tyler Roth….Drake Callihan…..I am coming for you….your days are numbered and the hands of fate draw your demise closer by the hour…

You will rest in peace….buried in damnation with the disease ridden parasites.

*Jones glares at Kelsey Hughes, who seems a little intimidated, and then he moves away and leaves the scene.

Match 3
Anarchy Championship
Mike Conrad vs Ojore

JK: Jones seems like he is ready to put someone out of their misery…

DF: The guy believes he can end FEAR….I don’t know what to make of that at all….he didn’t look capable earlier tonight….

Ding ding

Rick Ambrose: Ladies and gentlemen the following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the EWF ANARCHY CHAMPIONSHIP!

*Crowd pop

DF: Great to see Rick Ambrose back in the mix and looking great…

JK: Our resident ring announcer is of course another victim of FEAR’s sickening assaults but it is great to see him back here in the Coliseum…

DF: And in time for our next match, which I have to see has all the makings of maximum brutality….

JK: The EWF/FEAR war is about to get taken to the next level with the debut of the Anarchy division….no holds barred, falls count anywhere….Ojore and Mike Conrad are representing their tribes tonight and they are going to do whatever they have to in order to leave here with not only bragging rights but as the first ever Anarchy Champion…

The crowd begin to boo as the lights dim and then a pulsing light of orange begins to grow from behind the stage. “Bonfire” echoes out of the speakers as tribal shapes move across the back panels of the Hypertron and then a giant figure steps out into view…

Rick Ambrose: Introducing first……….from Uganda, Africa…………..weighing in at 281 pounds………….representing FEAR……………Ojjjjjjjjjjjjjooooooooooooorrrrrrreeeeeeeeeee!

DF: Just take a look at this monster…..he is unreal…

JK: A war machine…..Ojore was designed to cause chaos and havoc, no doubt about it….and it something he damn well enjoys doing….

DF: He is the encapsulation of FEAR…..he represents the organisation perfectly…

Ojore strides out onto the stage, holding his trademark lantern in his hands and he slams the lantern down on the ground, causing giant flames to burst all around him. He stares around at the crowd, no trace of emotion in his eyes, and then begins to walk to the ring.

JK: Mike Conrad seems to think the Anarchy division was made for him…but I think Ojore may argue against that….surely this environment suits the beast of FEAR to the ground?

DF: It definitely does…Ojore can do whatever he likes in this match and there is nobody that can stop him….

The cameras show the Anarchy Championship shining in its case near the announce area before panning back to Ojore as he climbs up into the ring. He continues to stare around the arena, unblinking, before the familiar “Beep beep” noise echoes out of the soundsystem.

JK: Huge ovation inside the Coliseum…

Rick Ambrose: And his opponent……………from New York City……….weighing in at 225 pounds…………Miiiiiikkkkkkkkeeeeeeee Coooooonnnnnnnnnnnrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaadddddddd!

DF: This crowd right behind Conrad but I don’t know if their support alone is enough…

Conrad comes out onto the stage, a smile on his face, and he raises his trademark trash can in the air before bringing it down and slapping his free hand against it. He makes his way down the ramp and tags the hands of the fans as he does so…

JK: Mike Conrad has been embroiled in this war from day one….way back to the Iron Man tournament when this all began and FEAR took him out….he knows more than anyone how important it is for EWF to strike back here tonight…

DF: We are on the peak, we need to force these guys back our face complete annihilation…

JK: Conrad has the guts, the spirit and the heart to make this one hell of a fight….but can he overcome the monster?

Conrad looks up at the ring, where Ojore is waiting, and then he breaks into a run and dives under the bottom rope. Ojore comes forward but Conrad throws the trash can at him, knocking him back slightly, and then runs forwards with a dropkick that only manages to send Ojore into the corner.

DF: Almost a forty pound difference in weight….Conrad will need to rely on his speed and elusiveness in the early going….

JK: EWF Scars and Stripes, ladies and gentlemen………….Anarchy Championship on the line…I warn you now, this is not going to be pretty…

Conrad runs into the corner and throws quick right hands to the body of Ojore until the monster pushes him away and sends Conrad rolling across the canvass. Conrad gets back up and runs back in but Ojore seizes him by the neck and then headbutts him away. The crowd boo as Ojore follows Conrad out of the corner and picks his trash can up off the floor…..SMACK!

DF: Anything goes….and now Conrad’s own weapon is being used against him…

The can cracks off the back of Conrad and staggers him to the ropes before Ojore whips him across the ring and floors him with a clothesline as he returns. Conrad stumbles back up, holding his head, and Ojore grabs him by the neck again and this time he bench presses him into the air…

JK: Conrad in trouble now…

Ojore walks Conrad to the ropes and prepares to throw him to the outside but Conrad drops down off the back and quickly grabs his trash can off the floor as Ojore turns around…..SMACK! He plants the can against Ojore’s head and wobbles the big man before running back off the ropes and returning with a shoulder tackle…

DF: Still isn’t enough….

Ojore continues to sway but doesn’t fall down as Conrad runs off the ropes again and comes charging back, only for Ojore to sidestep and use Conrad’s momentum to sling him over the top rope…

JK: Somehow Conrad kept his footing on the apron…

Ojore runs forward but Conrad shoulder thrusts him through the middle rope and then sunset flips over the top, attempting to drag Ojore into a pinning combo…

DF: No way he can pull the big man down…

JK: BANZAI DROP!

Conrad struggles to get Ojore down and then the big man jumps in the air and looks to squash Conrad underneath but MC rolls out of the way just in time. Ojore holds his back as he lands on the canvass and Conrad runs off the ropes before returning with a solid knee to the head………………….1………………..powerout from Ojore that sends Conrad through the ropes to the outside!

DF: Serious power from Ojore…

JK: What is Conrad supposed to do to keep this guy down for a three…nobody has come close yet….

DF: That is something Mike Conrad will need to figure out…

Conrad gets to his feet on the outside and he pulls up the ring apron before dragging a road sign from underneath. Ojore is just clambering through the ropes when Conrad slams the sign off the back of his head, causing the big man to fall down to the hard flooring. Conrad raises an arm to the crowd and then lifts the sign up again….

JK: Lookout…

Ojore’s arm shoots up and wraps itself around the neck of Conrad, squeezing the life out of him. Ojore then gets ready to stand up to full size and chokeslam Conrad but MC reacts quicker and slams the sign down on Ojore’s head three times. The monster staggers back dazed and Conrad runs him backward….BOOM!

DF: Steel steps will put anyone down, no matter their size…

Ojore’s back hits the steel and he collapses on the floor as Conrad kneels over him and scores with a flurry of punches to the head……………………………1…………………..Ojore pushes out with authority. Conrad staggers over to the timekeeper’s area and he grabs the ring bell before he comes back…

JK: Conrad is going to keep coming with the weapons all night…

DING!.....Conrad swings the bell but Ojore ducks and it clatters against the ringpost. Ojore then punches Conrad away before running at him, picking him up in a bearhug and slamming him back into the opposite ringpost. Conrad falls down in pain and Ojore picks up the road sign for himself….SMACK!

DF: Conrad may be out…

1………………………….2…………………….Conrad gets his shoulder up. Ojore stands up and he looks around before pulling Conrad up by the back of the neck and he launches him upside down against the ringside barrier. Conrad writhes in pain on the floor as Ojore goes back to the ring and begins to search underneath….

JK: Ojore wants to have some fun now…

Ojore looks under the ring for a moment and then he drags a table from underneath, resting it up against the ringside barrier. He then pulls out a kendo stick and he waits for Mike Conrad to start getting back to his feet before he makes his way over….

DF: Conrad needs to open his eyes….

WHACK!.....WHACK!......WHACK!.....The shots rip off the back of Mike Conrad and send him scurrying around the ring in agony as Ojore follows, the kendo stick ever present. Conrad makes it to the ringpost and he turns around as Ojore swings the stick at him again…

JK: Watch that…

Conrad dodges and the stick smashes against the ringpost, allowing MC to kick Ojore in the stomach and then slam him head-first against the ringpost. Ojore staggers backwards and Conrad pulls a steel chair from the announce air and swings it over his head…..CRACK!

DF: What a shot!

The chair echoes off the top of Ojore’s head, causing him to stagger backward and rest against the table he just set up against the barrier. Conrad breathes deeply and he throws the chair down on the floor before rolling back in the ring. The crowd cheer him on as he looks out at Ojore and then nods his head before running to the opposite side of the ring and comes sprinting back…

JK: What is he….OH MY GOD!

DF: DAMN….I LOVE THE ANARCHY DIVISION!

Crowd: Holy (beep) x5

EWF Presents Scars and Stripes Results Sunday May 26th 2013 Empty Re: EWF Presents Scars and Stripes Results Sunday May 26th 2013

Post by JJJohnson Mon 27 May 2013, 1:02 am

Conrad comes darting back and he vaults over the top rope into a flying crossbody but Ojore moves at the last second and sends Conrad crashing through the table against the barrier. Ojore wipes away a bead of sweat from his brow and then drags Conrad out of the wreckage…

JK: Mike Conrad just wanted to do something drastic to make this end…

DF: I didn’t think he would go for the kill so early…

JK: Why isn’t Ojore pinning him?

DF: He wants to enjoy this…

JK: Big mistake in my book, this is Ojore’s victory…

Ojore just looks down at the fallen figure of Mike Conrad but shakes his head when the referee urges him to make a cover. Instead, Ojore pulls Conrad up and easily presses him over his head before throwing him back into the ring. Ojore picks up the steel chair from the hard flooring and heads back into the ring himself…

DF: Ojore could have won the Anarchy Championship but he has orders…I would bet those orders entail the end of Mike Conrad here tonight…

JK: Conrad is already ended….he’s out of it…

Ojore runs his hand along the steel chair as he waits for Mike Conrad to crawl back up onto his feet. Conrad is holding his back, feeling a lot of pain, but eventually he stumbles up and Ojore jabs him in the stomach with the chair…

DF: Ojore is just prolonging the torture….

JK: This is horrible to watch…

Conrad drops down to his knees, hurt, as Ojore then mockingly circles his opponent before he lifts the chair up over his head and brings it down…

JK: He’s gonna decapitate him….

DF: OOSH!

The crowd erupt into cheers as Conrad does the only available thing and lands a sickening low-blow between the legs of Ojore, doubling the monster up. MC then springs off his knees in the blink of an eye….

JK: DUSTBUSTER!.....................GOT HIM…..

DF: But he’s hurt…

The crowd are in pandemonium as Conrad nails the RKO on Ojore, but he doesn’t have enough in the tank to make the cover. Both men are collapsed on the canvass as the referee is forced to just wait and see who gets back up…

JK: No countouts or disqualifications in this match…..only pinfalls or submissions will end this….

DF: This match is barely out of its infancy and already both men have been splattered…

The crowd wait in anticipation for a good minute before finally Conrad and Ojore start to stir. Ojore’s face is wrinkled with anger and both of his hands are balled into fists as he pushes himself up to his feet and lets swing with a huge haymaker…….CRACK!

JK: Conrad was alive to it…

Conrad throws the steel chair up in the way and lets Ojore punch the weapon away, allowing MC to run off the ropes and return with a bulldog on the big man that slams his head into the mat. Conrad then climbs up the ropes to the top of the turnbuckle and he waits for Ojore to rise before jumping off with a shoulder tackle that knocks the big man down again…

DF: Conrad building up a nice head of steam now…

Conrad runs over for a cover……………………………….1…………………………………….2……………………..powerout from Ojore again. MC gets back to his feet and he waits for Ojore to stand up before diving in at him….

JK: DUST….

Ojore blocks the RKO and pushes Conrad to the corner before running at him for a giant spear, Conrad sidesteps however and sends Ojore crashing into the ringpost. Conrad then stumbles over the mat and grabs the steel chair off the floor before turning around…..CRACK!

DF: That’s impact…

The chair smashes against the spine of Ojore and sends him down to his knees. Conrad then makes his way to the corner and he lifts himself onto the second rope with the chair in his hands before jumping off as Ojore stands up….

JK: WAIT….OH GOD!

Ojore launches his head up into a battering ram and he crunches the steel chair against the side of Conrad’s face as he comes out of the air, sending MC rolling from the ring in agony. Ojore rubs his head in the ring, getting his senses back, before he clambers out onto the apron….

DF: Just when it seemed like Mike Conrad was getting back into this…now he is big trouble again….

JK: He’s always in trouble in there with Ojore…

DF: But he has another trick….

The crowd cheer as Conrad suddenly pulls a fire extinguisher out from under the apron and sprays it into the eyes of Ojore, temporarily blinding the beast. Ojore staggers away as Conrad then pulls a plastic bag out and runs after the big man, he jumps on Ojore’s back and wraps the bag over his head…

JK: What is this….he’s going to choke the big man out…..

DF: Amazing improv….modified sleeper if I ever saw one….Conrad is gonna do this thing!

Ojore desperately tries to reach up and pull the bag off his head as Conrad clings on for dear life, begging the monster to collapse and stop breathing. The crowd are willing him on as Ojore’s legs begin to wobble slightly….

JK: I’ve never seen Ojore in this kind of predicament before…

DF: He’s suffering here, he doesn’t know what to do…

Conrad continues to hold the bag tightly, cutting of the oxygen supply of the big man, and Ojore tumbles forwards into the announce table and then begins to dip to the floor. Conrad is sat on his back, willing his idea to work, as Ojore then drops down to the floor and his breathing begins to decrease rapidly…

JK: Ojore’s out here….he is passing out….

DF: Mike Conrad is closing in on championship gold…

The referee makes his way over and he grabs the arm of Ojore and lifts it into the air, looking over at the ring announcer and timekeeper as he does so…..he holds the arm high and then lets go…………………….it drops back to the ground!

JK: Three times and Ojore is out….Mike Conrad will be the first ever Anarchy Champion…

The crowd are looking on with anxious faces as the referee raises Ojore’s arm again……………………..he lets it drop…….and it hits the floor…

DF: Mike Conrad is so close………..such an accomplishment for himself and for EWF…….

The referee then lifts Ojore’s arm into the air for a third time and he lets it fall…………….it drops toward the floor!

JK: No way….

DF: Does this beast have a breaking point?

Suddenly the arm whips back up into the air and Ojore begins to fight once more. Conrad is caught momentarily off guard and it allows Ojore to push his way back up to a vertical base, Conrad still clinging onto his back for dear life. Ojore wobbles, unbalanced, and then rushes backwards and crushes Conrad against the ringpost….

JK: That’ll get someone’s attention…

Ojore reaches up and he rips the bag off his head, breathing life back into his lungs again and suddenly his eyes are filled with a new found fire. He turns around and looks at Mike Conrad, who is struggling to stand up, and then grabs him by the trunks and pulls him up before running him forwards and launching Conrad over the announce table with such power that he hits one of the chairs behind and flips over the ringside barrier into the front row.

DF: Oh my…..Mike Conrad just got nailed like a motorway accident….unreal impact….

The cameras show Conrad laying in the crowd as Ojore makes his way back over to the ring and begins to pull another table out from underneath. He slides the table into the ring and then he looks underneath the apron again and this time he drags out a board, covered in barbed wire, and a steel pipe which he rolls into the ring. Ojore lets out a beastly roar and then walks over to the announce area and he leans over the barricade before seizing Conrad by the head and he drags him back over into ringside area with ease…

JK: The power of this guy is just scary….he is an animal…

Ojore drags Conrad along the ground and then he throws him back into the ring, a look of menace on his face. Ojore then climbs back into the ring and he begins to set the table up in the middle of the ring, situating the barbed wire board directly underneath. Conrad is struggling to stand up as Ojore wraps the chair around his neck and drags him up. He puts both hands around Conrad’s throat…

DF: This is going to be nasty…

JK: I don’t know if I can watch this……..

DF: CHOKEBOMB!

Ojore lifts Conrad up off the ground for the chokebomb but MC desperately jams his thumb into the eyes of Ojore at the last moment, causing his opponent to drop him to the ground. Conrad pulls the chair from around his neck and he swings it…..CRACK!

JK: Conrad needs to swing with all he has….

Conrad swings again with all his might and decks the big man again, this time causing Ojore to drop to the ground. Conrad places the chair on the head of the monster and stumbles over to the turnbuckle before climbing up to the top….

DF: Conrad gonna fly….LEGDROP!

JK: He got it….he’s got the belt….

Conrad legdrops the chair into Ojore’s face and makes the cover……………………………..1……………………………………….2……………………………..thr-shoulder up!

DF: Not quite enough….

Conrad looks stunned as the referee tells him it was a two count, but begins to get back up to his feet. He grabs the steel chair again and he cracks it against the spine of Ojore three times, knocking him toward the table in the middle of the ring…..Conrad then climbs onto the second rope and he jumps through the air, swinging the chair at the same time…

JK: Ojore caught him….CHOKEBOMB!

DF: DUSTBUSTER!

JK: HOLY….

Crowd: Holy (beep) x10

DF: It’s over…

The crowd are on their feet, going wild, as Conrad counters the chokebomb in midair and RKO’s Ojore through the table and onto the barbed wire underneath. Both men twitch, feeling the agony of the fall, before finally, after almost a minute, Conrad crawls over and makes the cover…

JK: After everything he has been through…

DF: And he still has to go through more…Ojore kicked out…

JK: NO GODDAMN WAY……

DF: This is just unreal stuff at Scars and Stripes…

The crowd all have their heads in hands as Ojore presses his shoulder up off the mat just before the referee’s hand comes down toward the mat for a three count. The whole arena is astonished, including Mike Conrad who just looks at the referee in shock…

JK: Conrad cannot believe it…neither can I….how the hell did Ojore kick out?

DF: Ojore is something else….some beast from beyond because that is not normal…he just went through that table and onto the barbed wire, no way should he have kicked out…

Ojore’s head is bleeding slightly and Mike Conrad has a cut along his left arm as he pulls himself out of the wreckage of the table. Conrad staggers to his feet and he kicks some of the splinters out of the ring and then he waits for Ojore to start getting back up again. Conrad breathes deeply, refusing to give up, and waits until Ojore turns toward him…

JK: Going again………DUSTBUSTER!

Conrad leaps up for another RKO but Ojore pushes Conrad off the ropes and then kicks him in the stomach as he comes back…

DF: GUTWRENCH…

Conrad slides off the back of the attempted gutwrench powerbomb and then looks for the RKO onto the barbed wire again but Ojore spins him around and seizes him by the throat before lifting him high into the air…

JK: CHOKEBOMB!

DF: ON THE BARBS!

The crowd look away in dismay as Ojore ploughs Conrad right down ontop of the barbed wire board. Conrad yells out in pain as the barbs stick right into his back and Ojore makes the cover…

Post by JJJohnson Mon 27 May 2013, 1:03 am

DF: OJORE NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH A PAIN THRESHOLD!

The cheers are deafening as Conrad somehow sticks his shoulder up in time, stopping the three count from being completed. Ojore looks at the referee, almost in awe, but the referee holds up two fingers and orders the match to continue. Ojore stands up, wiping blood from his brow, and he drags the barbed wire board up and slings it from the ring before urging Mike Conrad to get back to his feet. The cameras show deep lacerations to the back of Conrad as he tries to stumble back up and Ojore scoops him up onto his shoulders…

JK: Conrad going for a ride…

DF: Powerslam connects and this is all over….HERE WE GO!

*Crowd pop

JK: Wow…

Conrad pulls off the back of Ojore at the final second and then he waits for the monster to turn around before picking up the steel chair from earlier and wrapping it right across the top of Ojore’s head, sending him crashing like a tree. Ojore’s head bounces off the canvass and he rolls onto his chest as Conrad jumps ontop…

…………..Ojore just gets his shoulder up!

DF: What is this going to take….

JK: I just don’t know what either man has to do in order to keep the other down…

DF: They have thrown everything at each other…..

Conrad stumbles up and looks in complete loss at what to do next. The crowd are chanting his name, willing him on, and he draws on their energy as he makes his way over to the ropes and begins to climb. He makes it up to the top rope and he raises a fist to the crowd as Ojore slowly reaches his feet and Conrad dives off…

JK: Hangtime….CROSSBODY!

DF: Caught him…..WORLD STRONGEST SLAM!

JK: The ring just damn well shook…

Ojore catches Conrad in his grasp and he lets out a shout before pressing him up and drilling him down into the canvass with the sickening slam….he nods his head with authority and hooks both legs…

DF: I don’t care how resilient Mike Conrad is….it is over…

JK: I don’t believe this…

Crowd: Con-rad x10

DF: What are we witnessing here…..

The crowd are going ballistic as Conrad somehow finds the energy to get his shoulder off the mat again, bringing Ojore to the state of eruption. He looks at the referee as he gets back up to his feet, backing the official into the corner….

JK: Ojore doesn’t look happy….

DF: What is the referee supposed to do though….he can’t fast count….Conrad just keeps kicking out….

Conrad takes the opportunity to roll from the ring for salvation before Ojore turns away from the referee and follows. Conrad pulls the bottom of the steel steps away from the ring and places them near the announce table before picking up the ringbell off the floor and he turns and swings as Ojore comes toward him…

JK: Conrad fighting off pure desperation…

DF: But it isn’t enough…..OH DAMN!

JK: Call it off ref…

Ojore scoops Conrad up into his grasps again, blocking the ringbell strike, and he raises him into the air before drilling him with another World’s Strongest Slam across the steel steps….Ojore looks at the referee, ordering him to count….

DF: No mistakes this time ref….

JK: THIS IS GOING BEYOND A JOKE NOW….

Even the referee looks dumfounded as Conrad somehow flicks his arm off the side of the steel step, rendering the count invalid once more. Half of the crowd didn’t even see Conrad move his shoulder but they cheer in unison with everyone else, stunned by what they are witnessing.

DF: if anyone ever doubted Mike Conrad before this match then you are eating your humble pie right now….this guy has the heart of a thousand lions…I am telling you in all my years in the business I have never seen anyone with spirit like this…

JK: Ojore has battered him from pillar to post in the last five or so minutes but Mike Conrad just refuses to give up….he just will not quit…

DF: He is not willing to give FEAR another inch…this guy will fight until there is nothing left…

JK: That is what I am afraid of…

Ojore pushes himself off the floor and he looks down at Mike Conrad, almost baffled by what he is staring at. Ojore then looks around at the crowd and watches them willing Mike Conrad on, his inspiration for what happens next. Ojore then looks at the referee, who looks aghast at what he is witnessing, before bending down and picking Mike Conrad up in his arms like a baby. Ojore then uses the steel steps as a platform as he climbs up onto the announce table, Mike Conrad still in his arms…

DF: We need to get out of here, Johnny….

JK: This is heinous…enough is enough….Conrad cannot take any more…

DF: I don’t think Ojore is negotiating…..WORLD’S STRONGEST SLAM!

Some of the fans look away as Ojore lets out an almighty roar and then lifts Conrad up again before decimating him right down and through the announce table. The wreckage is devastating and Ojore’s eyes glint with malice as he just lies down on the chest of Conrad, waiting for the cover….

JK: We need medics down here……this is just horrible…

1..
..
..
………2
..
..
………………3!

DF: After everything we saw these men do to each other back at Atonement in that two out of three falls match….seems like small fry to what we have witnessed here tonight……..the Anarchy division has been born and my lord was it barbaric…

Ding ding ding

Rick Ambrose: Ladies and gentlemen here is your winner………………….and NEW EWF Anarchy Champion………………..representing FEAR (crowd boo)………..Ojooooooooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeee!

JK: Is this the final nail in the coffin of EWF? How many more casualties can there be? Can there be anymore setbacks?

DF: I really don’t know the answer to that……we are drowning here….FEAR has risen and they are taken over, we are running out of chances….

JK: Conrad fought like a warrior, we knew he would….but Ojore just would not stay down…..and after inflicting some heinous punishment upon Mike Conrad, finally the FEAR man has claimed his prize….he has put Conrad down for the count and he is the first ever EWF Anarchy Champion….

DF: This was a fabulous match….one for the hardcore fans…..it was brutal….back and forth…either man could have won it and against any other opponent they probably would have….both of them showed amazing resiliency in the face of adversity….but Ojore was hell-bent on destruction and that is exactly what he caused…I have no idea how Conrad kicked out of one of those slams, let alone two….but the third was too much….

The referee quickly hands Ojore the championship and disappears from the firing line as the giant holds his new belt up into the air, never taking his eyes off the unmoving form of Mike Conrad in the wreckage of the table. A small trickle of blood runs down the nose of Ojore and his chest heaves in and out before he doesn’t seem to care as he looks at Conrad once more and then begins to move toward the aisleway. Medics appear on the scene and they start tending to Conrad…

JK: A fantastic match, there is no doubt about that but the result is worrying….EWF is really taking a hammering from FEAR….if we lose the world championship tonight then surely all is lost?

DF: I just don’t know….we are on the ropes, our chances of survival are slimmer than ever….we need something big….something that borders on a miracle….but I just don’t know if we can make it happen….FEAR have us on the cliff edge…..

Ojore exits the stage with the championship belt as the medics help Conrad to sit up in the wreckage and the crowd give him an enthusiastic round of applause whilst chanting “Conrad” and “E-Dub-F”. Conrad smiles weakly before the action goes backstage.

Official result: Ojore via pinfall
Match time: 15 minutes

EWF Presents Scars and Stripes Results Sunday May 26th 2013 Empty Re: EWF Presents Scars and Stripes Results Sunday May 26th 2013

Post by JJJohnson Mon 27 May 2013, 1:09 am

*The action goes backstage and the crowd pop loud as Liam Wood is shown standing by with Carlton Jacobs. Wood is dressed in a lavish pink and green robe, the EWF TV Championship just noticeably wrapped around his waist. He looks extremely intense and focused.

Jacobs: Liam Wood….

*Crowd cheer

Jacobs: Tonight, in front of 3,000 fans here in the Elite Coliseum you will go one on one with a man you have known for a very long time….a respected friend of yours….tonight isn’t about FEAR or the war with EWF, not for you….tonight is about pride, about the EWF TV Championship and proving to the world that you are ready to move on to the main tier of this promotion…..tell me, how do you feel?

Wood: I feel like the spotlight is shining down on me tonight, like this is the moment when I get to step out of the shadows and really announce myself to the professional wrestling industry and I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that that is exactly what I am going to do. Twelve years ago I set out on a journey in EGW and even then, wrestling in a garden in front of a half dozen fans and competing for championships made of cardboard I knew that one day I would stand on a stage like this, ready to prove my greatness to the world….

I have had my ups and I have had my downs…..but every obstacle I have had to overcome has made me stronger, made the person I am today. How do I feel? I feel as good as I have ever done before….this is the night….

Jacobs: You and Thunder, along the road there has been some differences but last week you both seemed to put those differences aside and announced that this match would be all about “respect”. We have heard the comments all week, you and Thunder have never competed against each other before……this is a massive deal….just how confident are you that you can adapt to his style?

Wood: Thunder is a highly unorthodox competitor, I don’t think many people could adapt to his style. And your right, after twelve years of knowing each other we have never competed in a match….which is pretty remarkable. It is also remarkable that here tonight at Scars and Stripes, live in Los Angeles, California….two kids who grew up over the Atlantic, representing Hereford of all places are here in the Coliseum and they are ready to put on a match that will never be forgotten….

I knew one day I would make it…..and I saw what Thunder was capable of and I had a feeling he would be here too….I’ve thought about this match, you would be crazy not to, I have played it over a thousand times in my head…..and as good as I know that Thunder is…………..I am 100% confident that I am better than he is.

That isn’t being disrespectful….I respect Thunder more than anyone else in this business….he is a great guy, an amazing athlete….but I can’t afford him any more than that, not tonight when this match means so much to both of us. I need to remain calm and confident….I need to raise my head high and not give him an inch….tonight I am bullet-proof….

Jacobs: I have to ask you about the attire your wearing? Pink and green, not your usual style…

*Wood spins around, showing off the robe and on the back are the words “Macho Man” which draws huge cheers from the crowd.

Wood: Not my usual attire, no, but I am a fan of the business, a student of the game and just six nights ago was the anniversary of the day we lost one of the best this business has ever seen….and idol of mine…..the Macho Man Randy Savage……and tonight I wanted to honour him by wearing his colours…..hopefully I can draw on some of his spirit and go out there to make my mark on this industry…

Jacobs: And just quickly before I let you go……huge night in the EWF/FEAR war…..a few setbacks for EWF so far….

*Wood holds up his hand

Wood: I think those questions will have to wait until after my match. I promised Thunder he would get the best of me here tonight, there can be no distractions.

Jacobs: I understand, Viper….good luck out there, it should be a great match…

*Viper pauses and then smiles, leaning back into the mic

Wood: OOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHH YEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!

*The crowd pop as Wood nods his head and then makes his way toward the entranceway

EWF Presents Scars and Stripes Results Sunday May 26th 2013 Empty Re: EWF Presents Scars and Stripes Results Sunday May 26th 2013

Post by JJJohnson Mon 27 May 2013, 1:10 am

*The scene changes and the crowd boo as Dario Machiavelli is shown arriving at the arena. Drake Callihan is on hand to greet him.

Callihan: Nice of you to join us, Dario….

Machiavelli: Were you worried?

Callihan: Not at all, the “Chief” said you would be here, I have full faith in his belief…..can you say the same?

*Machiavelli glares at Callihan

Machiavelli: I was the first one recruited to this organisation, my loyalty has never wavered. There have been setbacks, perhaps even hints of confusion along the way….but I have “his” word that what happened last week was just a tactical diversion…..

Callihan: And you suspected it was something else? When will you realize, Dario, that the “Chief” doesn’t play games….last week wasn’t about helping Costello, it was about splitting the EWF idiots in two…..we planted the seeds of doubt in their mind and you nearly messed that up….

Machiavelli: Watch how you talk to me, Drake, your little friends aren’t here to back you up now…

*Callihan smiles and walks closer to Machiavelli

Callihan: And I wouldn’t need them anyway….please do not get lost under some great illusion that you are a superior wrestler to anyone on this roster, because we both know you aren’t. You are in your position of power because FEAR has helped you along the way…..the only reason you stand on the cusp of world championship glory is because of FEAR, and I really expect that is the reason you came crawling back here tonight….

Machiavelli: I’m sure the “Chief” would be very happy to hear of the way you speak to your next champion…

Callihan: You might have been the first on the list, Dario, but you are far from the most important. Look around, there is no time to change the plans now so the pressure falls on you….but I assure you that if the “Chief” could then he would replace you in this match…..Roth, Garcia, Ojore….all of them are much more talented and loyal than you are…..

Machiavelli: I’m not going to stick around and listen to your nonsense….I am the unit leader on this, not you, I know all about the knee injuries Drake so do not test me or I promise I will confine you to a hospital bed for the rest of your life…, not pretty boy Garcia or that freak of nature Roth….you really think the “Chief” would bestow his trust in Ojore….loyal he may be but he cannot even string a coherent sentence together…….

I am the leader…..I am the epitome of FEAR….and tonight I will be the world heavyweight champion…

*Callihan smirks as Machiavelli glares at him and then barges past. As he gets toward the door he spots Alex Garcia, Tyler Roth and Ojore, the Anarchy Championship belt in his hands, watching him and having heard everything he just said. Drake Callihan begins to laugh as Machiavelli takes one look at his “allies” and then heads into the arena.

EWF Presents Scars and Stripes Results Sunday May 26th 2013 Empty Re: EWF Presents Scars and Stripes Results Sunday May 26th 2013

Post by JJJohnson Mon 27 May 2013, 1:10 am

*The scene changes again and there are more cheers from the crowd as Hugh Cartwright has been joined by Thunder. The number one contender to the TV Champion looks full of focus.

Cartwright: Thunder, just moments away from the biggest match of your career so far….a match that EWF fans and wrestling fans in general have been waiting for, for a long time……here at Scars and Stripes you are about to go one on one with your friend, Liam Wood for the EWF TV Championship. Tell me, how ready are you for this match?

Thunder: Last week I was at maybe 50%, my head wasn’t in the game…but tonight, I have never been more ready!

*Crowd cheer

Thunder: Growing up in Hereford, making a name for myself back home was just the start of my journey to the top of this industry but I knew that I would reach moments like this, I knew where I rightfully belonged. At the exact same time Liam Wood was doing the same thing, running a promotion in our hometown…..making a name for himself…..and although our paths ran in parallel to each other….I knew one day we would set ourselves on a collision course….one day we would have to meet….and finally we would answer the questions that were asked over twelve years ago….who is the better man?

Cartwright: Do you want to answer that question?

Thunder: I could…I could go deep with a proverb or an anecdote….I could cite at least five stories from comic book history that would relate to this scenario….but that would be me spinning off on a tangent and tonight isn’t about that. You see words are just that, they don’t carry meaning…..what matters is what you see, what you hear…..what happens when me and Liam step in that ring tonight. He is confident in his abilities, he has every right to be, but I also have confidence in mine….I believe I can beat anyone on this roster, I believe that I have the ability to go to the very top of this industry.

Who is the better man? Isn’t that what tonight is all about? I can’t answer that question for you, merely provide speculation….but the upcoming bout will surely give you what you need…

Cartwright: Last week there were some disputed between yourself and EWF officials, has that matter been sorted out, or will that impact on your mindset tonight?

Thunder: There is no longer a problem, there have been a creative issue or two but we are past it. I apologise to my fans that it spilled over into my personal and professional mood but I promise that it is all taken care of. My mind is focused on what is coming next, that will not change, and for the amazing crowd that has gathered tonight….I guarantee that they are in for a show.

Cartwright: What would winning the TV Title mean to you? Obviously you and Viper have never fought before but he is seen as a top competitor in this promotion, would victory push you closer to the top?

Thunder: I don’t think there is any doubt that winning tonight would not only send a message but it would add great weight to a claim that I am ready to fight with the best that EWF has to offer. Liam is a great champion, I respect his credentials enormously, but there will be no hesitation in my actions here tonight because I have all the makings of a great champion too, there can only be room for one us.

If I do win tonight then it will be for the fans, the amazing EWF audience who have stuck by me since day one….I wish to pay them back and hopefully tonight I can….

Cartwright: I wish you luck Thunder…..and I look forward to one of the most anticipated matches in EWF history….

*Thunder bows in thanks and then exits the scene, taking the action back to ringside.

EWF Presents Scars and Stripes Results Sunday May 26th 2013 Empty Re: EWF Presents Scars and Stripes Results Sunday May 26th 2013

Match 4
TV Championship
Liam Wood © vs Thunder

Ding ding

Rick Ambrose: Ladies and gentlemen the following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the EWF Television Championship!

*The crowd pop

JK: This a monumental moment in EWF history, Don…

DF: Yes it is…two men who have known each other for twelve years, never once have they competed against one another but tonight that all changes…..they both stand on the cusp of main event level, whoever wins will elevate themselves into the big time….but there can only be one victor…

JK: So much respect between these men….so much history…..this should be a special bout indeed…

The crowd in attendance are making an extraordinary amount of noise as “Heroes are hard to find” by Twisted Sister echoes out of the speakers and the cheers are audible from all over.

Ambrose: Introducing first………….the challenger………..from Hereford, England…………….weighing in at 257 pounds……………..”The Oncoming Storm”………..Thhhuuuuuuunnnnnnnnndddddddddeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrr!

DF: Such a split in the crowd tonight, I don’t think they want either man to lose…

The lights dim and spotlights begin to shine down on the stage as Thunder walks out onto the stage, determination etched across his face. He looks down at the ground for a moment and then raises his head, listening to the ovation of the crowd. He taps his heart three times and nods his head in appreciation before pointing at the ceiling and begins to walk down toward the ring.

JK: Thunder has been simply brilliant since he signed for this company, you can count the number of defeats he has on just a couple of fingers…………..it was obvious from the beginning that he was set for championship bouts like this one…..but I don’t think any of us could have prepared for the intensity of the match we are about to see…

DF: Thunder is all about the fans, all about putting on a show and I think that is what we will see from him tonight….he’s had a few ups and downs in recent weeks, perhaps he and Viper have crossed the line more often than they anticipated with their words and actions but deep down this is all about respect…all about the will to prove who is the better man…..both of these superstars are ready to put on a show…

Thunder reaches out and he touches hands with some of the fans around ringside before he climbs up into the ring. Thunder then walks up to one of the turnbuckles facing away from the entrance way and climbs to second rope. He points into the crowd at a couple of fans and then stretches his arms out. He drops from the rope and heads to the diagonally opposite corner and climbs to the second rope again. This time he raises his one leg so, that his foot is on the top rope. He again points out to a couple of fans before stretching his arms outward. Thunder then turns to face the entrance resting his arms on his raised knee.

JK: Thunder knows how far he has come since those days in Hereford, trying to realize a dream….tonight he can make that dream come true……tonight he can push himself into the elite of this industry and show the world that he is ready for the big time…

DF: But in the opposite corner will be a man who wants the exact same thing….the question is, who wants it more?

Thunder continues to look up toward the stage as the lights in the arena dim again before a very familiar theme tune begins to echo out of the speakers, envoking a crescendo of cheers from the crowd in attendance.

JK: He said it was a tribute….I guess he wasn’t lying….

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P9k1EvSX7W0

Ambrose: And introducing his opponent………………also hailing from Hereford, England……………weighing in at 235 pounds………………………he is the current, reigning and defending EWF Television Champion……………”The Viper” Liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiaaaaaaammmmmm Woooooooooooooddddddddddd!

DF: I’ve got goosebumps……….The Macho Man will be smiling down tonight….

Every fan in the arena is on their feet as flames burst up from the stage and then Liam Wood spins out onto the stage, the glittering pink robe sparkles in the spotlight. Wood points to every section of the crowd and then begins to make his way down the ramp toward the ring.

JK; Viper said he was a student of the game, that Macho Man was one of his idols…..tonight he is going to need some of Randy Savage’s resiliency and heart to push himself closer to that mountain top…

DF: As big as this match is in the career of Thunder, the exact same can be said for Liam Wood…this could be the last match of the rest of their lives for all they know…you either go hard or you go home…it is all or nothing….no friendships tonight…..

JK: It really is all on the line for these men…..

Wood reaches the base of the ring and he unties the robe, dropping it to the floor, and reveals trademark Macho Man pink salmon trunks with yellow boots. The EWF TV Title is wrapped around his waist, and it the first place that Thunder looks as Viper climbs up into the ring.

DF: Liam Wood won that championship back at the Iron Man tournament on February 5th this year….110 days has passed since then, a seriously impressive run as the TV Champion….but he has never faced a challenge like this before, does he have enough to come away tonight with his reign intact?

JK: Thunder has never looked better, his form coming into this match is fantastic….and Wood did have those injured ribs just a couple of weeks ago….so many factors that could affect the outcome of this match…it really is in the balance….too close to call…

DF: And on a night where the EWF/FEAR war has dominated the headlines, it is a welcome relief to change focus and look at a match that could very well go down as the best we have seen in EWF history thus far…..it really does have all the makings of an instant classic…

JK: Yes it does….two young, hungry lions are ready to fight for pride, respect, bragging rights and the EWF TV Title….only one can walk away victorious, but who is it going to be? Time to find out…

Liam Wood climbs down from the turnbuckle, where he was posing for the fans, and he unstraps the TV Title from around his waist and looks into the eyes of Thunder. Both men stare down for a minute and then Wood kisses the belt and hands it over to the referee, who raises it into the air. Thunder and Wood both look at the championship as the official passes it out of the ring to the timekeeper and then their focus turns back to one another. The referee gives them his final instructions and then he steps back and calls for the bell, bringing a roar of delight from the crowd.

JK: Liam Wood says the EWF TV Championship means everything to him, he is so determined to extend his reign……but Thunder is a huge threat to that……this is a pick ‘em, 50-50 no doubt about it….care to pick a winner, Don?

DF: Are you joking? I couldn’t even pick with a gun to my head….this will go down to the wire…

Thunder and Viper walk to the centre of the ring and they continue to look each other down before they touch knuckles and move away, circling the ring to get the match underway. Both men feint in and out, looking for a position, and then after almost a minute of jockeying they launch forward into a collar and elbow tie-up in the middle of the canvass.

JK: Should be a fantastic wrestling match…no gimmicks, this is down to what happens inside this ring….

Thunder quickly applies a side headlock to the champion but Wood backs up against the ropes and then shoots his opponent across the ring, only for Thunder to come back and knock him down with a shoulder tackle. Thunder then runs off the ropes but Wood gets back up and leapfrogs over his rival before waiting for him to come back off the ropes again and this time he drops down on his chest and forces Thunder to jump over him….Thunder hits the ropes again as Viper gets back up and looks for a hiptoss as the challenger returns…

DF: Beautiful chain wrestling….

Thunder jumps out onto his feet and tries to take Wood down with an armdrag but Wood forward rolls onto his feet again and pulls Thunder toward him and looks for a belly to belly suplex but Thunder pushes his way free and then lifts Wood up onto his shoulders as he comes back. Wood kicks his legs and slides off the back, trying to counter with an atomic drop but Thunder counters in midair with a side headlock takedown and jumps ontop of Wood with a reverse seated chinlock…

JK: That’s how you start a match….

DF: That’s why these guys are so highly rated…

Wood pulls himself toward the ropes, trying to get out of the submission hold and then he slams back into the body of Thunder and manages to get up on one knee. Thunder tries to keep Wood locked back in place but Viper manages to stand and he slams hard side elbows into the ribs of Thunder before spinning out and rocking his opponent’s head back with right hands. He grabs Thunder’s arm and looks for an Irish whip but Thunder stalls in the centre of the ring and pulls Wood back toward him….

JK: Spine…

Thunder looks for a spinebuster but Viper counters with a monkey flip that puts Thunder down in the centre of the ring. Wood then gets back up to his feet and he waits for Thunder to stand up before knocking him down with a running clothesline before letting him up again and this time he kicks him in the stomach…

DF: Viper drop…

JK: This early?

Thunder quickly counters with a backdrop and then makes his way over to the corner to catch his breath. Wood gets back up and he chases in but Thunder gets his foot up and kicks Viper away before turning on his heel and he springs onto the middle turnbuckle before floating back into a crossbody takedown…………………….1……………………………….2……………..Wood gets his shoulder up. Both men get back to their feet and they trade with punches before Wood opens up with chops to the chest and looks for an Irish whip, sending Thunder toward the ropes….

DF: Dropkick…

Thunder stops short of coming back and Wood lands heavily on his back, allowing Thunder to run in and make a cover……………………………….1…………………………………2……………………………..shoulder up. They get back up to their feet and Wood swings wildly with a haymaker, allowing Thunder to duck and pull him into a reverse DDT position and then drop him into an inverted backbreaker, holding him there for a modified dragon sleeper…

JK: This is a heck of a submission move…………the champion is in trouble….

DF: Thunder not sparing an expense in this match….

The referee is quickly on the scene and he asks Wood is he wants to quit but the champion shouts “No” and the match continues. Thunder has his knee pressed up into the spine of Viper and is holding his arm across the face and chest, pushing Wood further down into the hold and increasing the pressure…

JK: This would be a major shock if Thunder was to claim this by a submission….

DF: Especially this soon into the match, I don’t think Wood was expecting to get caught like this…

Wood’s face is red with the pain but he refuses to give up as the submission continues, the crowd in attendance watching on with serious interest. The official once again asks if Viper wishes to throw the towel in but the champion is not interested…

DF: If Thunder can somehow lock his forearm around the throat of Wood and drag him further back into this move for a true dragon sleeper then it may be all over….right now the pain is just concentrated to the back…

JK: Which is bad enough but I understand what you are saying….

Thunder tries to do exactly that, pushing his leg further under the back of Wood and attempts to pull his head upwards to wrap his arm around his neck. But the momentary shift in weight allows Wood to swing himself out of the hold and he quickly swipes the legs of Thunder…

DF: Wood countering into his own sub…

EWF Presents Scars and Stripes Results Sunday May 26th 2013 Empty Re: EWF Presents Scars and Stripes Results Sunday May 26th 2013

Post by JJJohnson Mon 27 May 2013, 1:13 am

Thunder rushes backwards as Wood tries to hold his legs in place and then turn him around for the figure four leglock. Viper manages to get one foot in place and he swivels around for the second part but Thunder places his foot in the small of Wood’s back and boots him away into the corner. Thunder struggles back up as Viper pushes out of the corner and sprints at him….

JK: Big boot….whoosh….

The boot brushes the side of Thunder’s face but he manages to dodge the full impact and he counters with a back suplex………………….1………………………….2…………………..Viper kicks out. Thunder gets up to his feet and he bounces back off the ropes before returning with a legdrop but Wood rolls out of the way and avoids it. The champion is back up on his feet and he runs off the ropes before sprinting back with a huge clothesline as Thunder reaches his feet once more…

DF: This is just in your face right now, both men trying so hard to make something happen…

Thunder gets back up and Wood kicks him in the stomach before looking for a suplex but Thunder floats over the back and counters with a schoolboy……………………………1………………………….2…………..Wood pops his shoulder in the air. Both superstars get back up to their feet and Thunder looks for a right hand but Viper dodges it and tries to counter with a full nelson…

JK: Viper lock in the offiing….

Wood tries to get the submission synched in but Thunder is wriggling and unwilling to play ball. Viper is forced to change tactic and instead he lifts Thunder into the air and throws him into the mat with a full nelson slam. Thunder tries to get back up as Wood then runs off the ropes and comes back with a neckbreaker………………………….1……………………………2……………..Thunder gets his shoulder off the mat!

DF: Every pinfall makes one of these guys expend energy…it may not look like much but it all adds up…

JK: It sure does….when this match could go for a long time there is no telling how much a kickout will cost you….

Thunder tries to get up but Wood pulls him into the middle of the ring and tries to place him in an abdominal stretch, really applying pressure to the ribs and body of the challenger. Wood holds him there, wrenching back on his arm for more pressure…

DF: Wood is keeping the pace nice and steady…not too slow, not too fast…he is dictating right now…

JK: Which isn’t what Thunder wants…he prefers a much quicker pace than this….

Wood continues to pull back on the arm, stretching the body of Thunder, but the challenger just shakes his head when the referee asks him if he wants to give up. Wood slams fists down into the exposed body of his rival and then after a minute or so he flips him up into the air and slams him down with a pumphandle drop………………………….1……………………………………2…………………..Thunder gets his shoulder up!

DF: Wood knows what he is doing….these aren’t match winning pinfalls, but he is making Thunder work for everything….

Wood pulls Thunder up by the head and he rocks him with hard right hands before seizing his arm and sending him crashing into the corner. Viper sizes his opponent up and then follows in with a hard clothesline before pulling Thunder out and he scoops slams him onto the canvass….

JK: And now Wood is going to task a risk…the first of the fight….

DF: It won’t be the last….

Wood takes a quick look at Thunder and then points to the ceiling as he begins to climb the ropes to the top of the turnbuckle. Thunder is prone on the mat as Viper begins his climb but he is back on his feet as Wood reaches the top rope and he connects with two right hands that unsteady the legs of the champion before Thunder gets up on the ropes himself…

DF: Every move like this is so dangerous…..one false move and this could be all over…

Thunder drives his head up into the body of Wood and then he scores with a left cross before pulling his opponent into a front facelock. Thunder is stood on the second rope as he grabs ahold of Wood’s trunks and then pulls…

JK: Superplex!

The ring shakes upon the impact and Thunder crawls across on his knees to make the cover……………….1…………………………………..2……………………Viper gets his shoulder up off the mat. Thunder crawls back up to his feet and he gives a sign to the crowd, who greet him with a mixed reaction…

DF: We are split right down the middle tonight….we’ve got Viper fans and we’ve got Thunder fans…

JK: I think the crowd love both men, but I suppose you have to choose a side…

Thunder wipes a bead of sweat from his brow and then drags Wood up by the head and positions him for a powerbomb before he flips him up onto his shoulders…

DF: TEQUILA….

Wood drops out of the front of the move and nails a hard European uppercut to the face of Thunder before grabbing his arm and whipping him across the ring. Thunder dodges a swinging right hand as he comes back and he runs off the opposite side before returning with a flying dropkick that takes out the knees of the champion. Wood rolls over in pain and Thunder quickly grabs his legs…

JK: Cloverleaf!

DF: And he has him….

The crowd are torn as Thunder succeeds in turning Wood over onto his stomach and applies the cloverleaf submission. He has the legs of the champion pulled back and tucked under his arm as he extends the pressure and really sits down on the back of his opponent. Wood is yelling out in pain as the referee gets down and asks him if he wants to give up….

DF: Liam Wood is up against it once again…every submission hold has a serious effect on your stamina and your threshold…..

JK: But there is no way he is just going to give up, no matter what he is up against….he loves the TV Championship and he knows how much this match means…

The referee is imploring Wood to think about his options but the champion isn’t interested, he just presses his palms down on the mat and tries to pull himself toward the ropes. Thunder is unrelenting and he continues to pull at the legs, stretching the muscles in the back of his opponent….

DF: You can see what this means to both men….

Wood’s hand is quivering under the pain and pressure he is feeling, but instead of folding he continues to press forward. He reaches out and he misses the ropes once but on the second attempt his fist closes around the bottom rope and the referee breaks up the submission….

JK: Great guts shown by the TV Champion….showing his will to survive….

DF: But what did it take out of him? There will be an impact to that….

Wood rolls from the ring, holding the bottom of his back, and he crouched down on one knee for a few moments. Thunder is unwilling to wait around and he climbs out onto the apron and he waits for Wood to stand before jumping off and smacking a double axe handle into the back.

JK: That is a target for Thunder to aim at now….the back could be a problem….

DF: It could be but he shouldn’t just rely on that one body part, Wood still has plenty of other weapons…

Thunder pulls Wood up and he slams him back into the ringside barrier before running him forwards and throwing him under the bottom rope, into the ring. Thunder then takes his time to clamber back up on the apron and he scales the ropes…

DF: Now Thunder has control of the pace….I would imagine he will look to up the tempo very soon….

Wood slowly gets back to his feet as Thunder jumps off the top rope and this time he jams the point of his elbow down into the back of the champion, dropping Wood to his knees once more. Thunder takes a moment to weigh up the situation and then he bounces back off the ropes and comes forwards with a hard kick to the side of Viper’s head…………………………………1………………………………….2……………………….Wood gets his shoulder up!

JK: We knew there were going to be moments in this match when one of the superstars had control and the other was forced to give ground….but what may be crucial is how either man uses their control time and how effective it is….

Wood gets back up and Thunder pulls him into a gutwrench before lifting him up and then dropping him down on his face with real venom. The challenger then runs off the ropes, twice, and storms back into a bigtime legdrop across the throat of Viper…………………………….1…………………………………2…………..Wood kicks out again. Thunder pulls Wood up by the hair and then he twists his arm around and backs into the corner…

DF: Not a move we have seen from Thunder so often in EWF, but one I am told he used frequently back in HWF…

Thunder climbs up onto the top rope, still holding Wood’s arm, and then walks out to the middle of the ropes and prepares to jump off with an “old school” move but Wood regains his senses in time and he falls down, countering with a modified armdrag that sends Thunder flying across the canvass….

JK: Great think by the champion…..using Thunder’s own momentum against him….

Wood gets back up to his feet and he runs into Thunder, charging him back into the corner, and looks to open up with a rally of shoulder thrusts but Thunder drives his knee into the way and then rolls over the top of Viper into a sunset flip…………………………..1……………………………………………2………….Wood kicks out. Both men make it back to their feet and Thunder looks for a quick kick to the stomach but Viper catches his foot and spins him around…..

DF: Belly to belly……

1………………………….2…………………..Thunder kicks out!

JK: This is back and forth action…..it really is starting to heat up now…

DF: Fans are getting excited…. This is what you pay your money for….nights and matches like this…

Wood pulls Thunder back up to his feet and he scoops him up onto his shoulders to run him into a powerslam but Thunder drops off his back and locks his hands around the waist of the champion for a German suplex. Wood tries to loosen the grip but cannot so instead he ploughs his head back into the face of Thunder and spins out before running into Thunder and shooting for a double legged takedown and then opens up with ground and pound on the floor…

DF: A little MMA action for the fans…

Thunder tries to cover up from the punches and then he lifts his legs up out over his chest and wraps them around the head of the champion, trying to get in place for a triangle choke…

JK: Thunder is really after that submission….I wonder if he has seen anything in tapes he has watched of Wood…

DF: Both of these men will have studied each other so thoroughly…

Wood pulls his arms up and out of the way before driving a hard forearm down into the bridge of Thunder’s nose. Both men roll back into standing positions and Thunder tries to run in for a quick spear but Wood times him perfectly with a spinning powerslam…………………………..1……………………….2………………….Thunder gets his shoulder up. They get back to their feet again and Viper scores with a clothesline before welcoming Thunder up and nails another spinning powerslam……………………………1……………………………..2………………..kickout!

DF: Both of these guys are chipping away at each other…no clear cut breakthroughs yet but you can sense they are getting closer…

Wood pulls Thunder up and tries to lift him into a suplex but Thunder kicks his legs and refuses to budge. Wood is forced to release and clubs Thunder across the back with venom before he attempts the suplex again…

JK: He’s got him up…

This time Thunder manages to float over the back and he pushes Wood, chest-first, into the turnbuckle before connecting with a dragon suplex as he comes back…
..
….1
..
………….2
..
……………………….shoulder up Wood. Thunder gets to his feet and he slams a knee into Wood’s stomach before hitting him with a rolling DDT, instead of covering he pulls Wood up again and connects with a second DDT before attempting to score with a hat-trick…

DF: Went to the well once too often…

Wood stumbles back and counters with a backdrop that sends Thunder off the top rope and onto the apron. Viper bends down a moment for a rest and then clambers back up, only to receive a hard shoulder thrust through the middle rope from Thunder….

JK: That’ll take the wind right out of your sails….

DF: Thunder looking for the slingshot……BOOM!

EWF Presents Scars and Stripes Results Sunday May 26th 2013 Empty Re: EWF Presents Scars and Stripes Results Sunday May 26th 2013

Post by JJJohnson Mon 27 May 2013, 1:15 am

JK: Could be all…

Thunder slingshots himself back over the top rope for a flying spear but Wood catches him in one motion and spins him into a spinebuster…………………………..1…………………………………2…………………Thunder pops his shoulder up. The TV Champion breathes deeply as he clambers up to his feet, pondering his next move…

DF: Every wrestling fan in the world should be watching this match right now….two stallions in their prime….this is what the business is all about….this type of contest puts promotions on the map…

Viper sucks in a breath of air and then he pulls Thunder up and hooks both of his arms for the “Viper drop” pedigree but Thunder shakes and he fights before twisting out and attempting to counter with a Russian legsweep. Wood drives the point of his elbow into the side of Thunder’s head and pulls free before dragging him in and lifting him into an inverted atomic drop….Thunder doubles up in pain and Viper drags him into a Russian legsweep position of his own…

JK: Wait there…OH MY GOD!

Crowd: That was awe-some x10

DF: Awe-inspiring stuff…

The arena is on their feet as Wood somersaults forwards and then plants Thunder right on his face with the modified face-first Russian legsweep. Viper looks confused by his own actions for a moment and then makes the cover…………………………………one…………………………….two………………………thr-shoulder up!

JK: Thunder kicked out….that was almost as shocking as the move we just witnessed…

DF: It takes crazy, unexpected moves like that to win matches like this….credit to Viper for trying to think outside of the box…

Thunder is dazed and confused as he tries to stumble to his feet and he walks into Wood, who promptly lifts him up and nails him with a spinning sitout sideslam (ala John Cena). Thunder is flat out on the mat as Wood then makes his way over to the ropes and he begins to scale the turnbuckle…

JK: Wood has Thunder where he wants him, it didn’t quite pay off last time when he went high but he fancies his chances…

DF: One more big move and Thunder might be done in this match….

JK: He’s paying homage to the Macho Man….FLYING ELBOW!

The flashbulbs go off as Wood raises his arms in the air like the Macho Man and then he dives off and looks to plough his elbow straight into the heart of the challenger, only for Thunder to roll away at the last second and send Wood crashing into the canvass. The crowd are once again split as Wood holds his arm in pain and Thunder tries to recover in the corner…

DF: These two warriors are putting on a show, this is amazing action…

JK: And as of yet neither man has been able to score a move or a submission that will put an end to this contest….Wood has come the closest…

DF: SO FAR….

Thunder suddenly bursts out of the corner with an injection of pace and he floors Wood with a giant spear as the champion tries to get up. The impact causes Viper’s head to snap back off the canvass upon landing and Thunder hooks both legs…

JK: New champion…

1..
….2
………Wood just gets his shoulder up!

DF: He’s holding on….

Thunder flicks his hair back out of his face and he takes a look at the referee, but is informed it was a definite two count. He puts his hands on his hips as he gets back to his feet and then pulls Wood up and he whips him into the corner. Thunder takes a moment and then follows in, trying to force his boot up into the face of his opponent….

JK: Wood caught it…

Viper throws his hands up, mainly on instinct, and he catches the foot of Thunder before pushing him backwards and causing Thunder to roll over backwards on the mat. Thunder is disorientated for a moment and then he gets back up, just as Wood comes running at him for a big boot of his own…

DF: He just ducked out in time…

Thunder ducks the boot and he waits for Wood to turn around before he pulls him into the centre of the ring and locks him in place…

JK: Thunderclap…

The “rock-bottom” seems a certainty until Wood drives his elbow up into Thunder’s head again, breaking his grip. Thunder staggers around, groggy, and Viper takes advantage by waistlocking him and then nails a huge German suplex….

DF: Wood is looking to put together a combination now….

The crowd cheer as Viper clings on like a rabid dog and he drags Thunder back up to his feet before connecting with a second suplex. He repeats the process for a third time but Thunder stalls on the shift, refusing to be suplexed again….

JK: Thunder trying to put the brakes on…

Wood buries his forearm into the back of Thunder three times and then he hauls him up and finally completes the hat-trick of suplexes before crawling over and dropping his arm across the chest of the challenger……………….1……………………………2……………………..shoulder up!

DF: You can see the effect this match is starting to have on both men, they are tiring…

JK: But the crowd is not tiring from seeing the action….they are mesmerised…

Wood gets back up to his feet and he makes it over to the ropes before he begins to climb toward the top rope. He smiles as the crowd chant his name and then he perches on the edge of the turnbuckle as Thunder clambers back up…

DF: Flying lariat…

JK: He landed all that…

The flying clothesline swipes Thunder off his feet once more and the crowd erupt into cheers as Viper stands up and he beckons Thunder back to his feet before he kicks him in the stomach and hooks of his arms into the air…

DF: Viper drop…

Thunder wrestles his arms free and then he swipes the legs of the champion before he bridges over the top of him into a pinfall…
..
..
….1
..
..
….2
..
..
..
………..Thunder bridges back out of the pinfall and spins around before flipping Wood into the air….

JK: TEQUILA…

Wood slams his fist down into Thunder’s forehead and then he jumps out of the back before running off the ropes and diving into a springboard…

DF: CROSS….OH SHZAM!

JK: Extraordinary…

Wood floats back for the crossbody but Thunder catches him in his arms and detonates with an incredible fall away slam. Wood is dazed as he staggers back to his feet and walks straight into a sidewalk slam………………..1…………………………………….2………………………………….shoulder up.

DF: I thought Thunder might have just won it with that move….beautiful counter….

Thunder shakes his head as the referee tells him it a two count and then he runs off the ropes and returns with a legdrop across the throat of Viper. He repeats the process twice more and then he climbs up the ropes to the top and he raises his arms into the air before jumping off and once again he drives his leg across the throat of the champion…

JK: Four leg drops in a row….Wood can have no answer…

1..
..
..
..
….2
..
..
..
………..shoulder up!

DF: Oh he’s answering alright, Johnny, this man can answer any question you like…Liam Wood is fighting with all he has…

JK: But just how much does he have left in the tank?

Thunder pushes his hair out of his face as he makes it back up to his feet again and he rubs his hands together, building the anticipation of the fans as slowly Wood crawls back to his feet and stumbles straight into Thunder’s path…

DF: THUNDERCLAP…

Wood elbows his way out of the attempted “rock-bottom” and then he pulls Thunder in toward him and looks for a belly to belly suplex but Thunder drops to his knees and counters with an inverted jawbreaker that knocks Viper back into the corner. Thunder then charges in and looks for a stinger splash but Wood rolls out and sends Thunder against the turnbuckle as he runs off the opposite ropes…

JK: What a boot….

The crowd groan as the sound of Wood’s big boot crashing against the face of Thunder echoes all around the arena. The challenger is flat on his back as Viper then raises an arm to the sky and walks to the corner, making his way to the top rope. The flashbulbs are going off….

DF: I saw Macho Man do this at Wrestlemania 4 against Dibiase…..ELBOW DROP!

JK: He nailed it…..is it fate?

The elbow nails right into the heart of Thunder and the crowd sense the end as Wood drops over the top and he hooks the leg………………………………….one……………………………..two…………………………….thr-Thunder just gets his shoulder up off the mat!

DF: His hand touched the mat…

JK: The referee is saying otherwise but my word that was close, barely an inch in it…

The noise in the arena is going up a notch and chants of “This is awe-some” greet both competitors as they begin to get back to their feet. Thunder looks very groggy and Wood grabs him by the head and lands a solid punch to the jaw that puts Thunder back down on his back. The TV Champion then makes his way back to the corner and he begins to climb….

JK: I’ve seen Viper go to the top more in this match than ever before….

DF: He may feel he can make something happen from up there….

JK: It’s gonna have to be special….

DF: HOW IS THAT FOR SPECIAL!

Crowd: Holy (beep) x7

JK: Get the belt….

Liam Wood gets to the top rope and he watches as Thunder begins to make it back up to his feet. The champion picks his precise moment and he jumps off into a flying splash on his opponent, only for Thunder to catch him on his shoulders and he nails Wood with an amazing sitdown “Tequila Bomb”….

DF: That powerbomb has never been hit better…

……………..3!

JK: HE KICKED OUT….MY GOD WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT…

DF: HEART OF A CHAMPION….ITS ON DISPLAY FOR ALL TO SEE RIGHT NOW!

The fans are going manic but the look on Thunder’s face tells the whole story, he is completely in awe at what has just happened. Liam Wood is barely able to open his eyes on the canvass but he managed to get his shoulder up and that is what matters. The referee is telling Thunder the match must continue but the challenger is just holding his head in his hands…

JK: For the first time tonight I think Thunder is realizing the task in front of him…he is recognising just how tough his friend really is….

DF: Wood is a champion, he is an amazing athlete and he is a great ambassador for EWF….what a match this is….both men deserve a goddamn medal….

Thunder eventually makes it back up to his feet and he breathes deeply as he begins to stalk his opponent, waiting for him to stand back up. The sweat glistens off the face of Thunder, his eyes focused on the task at hand, and then Wood pulls him up, using the ropes, and he turns around…

JK: Thunder…

Wood drives his head into the side of Thunder’s face and he pulls free of the rock-bottom before he kicks Thunder in the stomach and pulls his arms….

DF: VIPER…

Thunder swipes the legs of Wood at the final moment and he stomps down on his stomach before lifting his legs up and slingshots him into the corner, causing Viper’s head to slam against the turnbuckle. Wood staggers back around and Thunder kicks him in the stomach before lifting him into the air…

JK: TEQUILA…

Liam Wood wriggles and fights before dropping back down onto his feet and he drives his knee right into the gut of the challenger…

DF: VIPER DROP!

*Crowd pop

JK: Just like that….

The cheers are from all around as Wood plants Thunder right ontop of his head with the pedigree, rendering him immobile in the centre of the ring. Wood seems to draw a sense of relief as he moves over and makes the cover…

DF: What an end..

EWF Presents Scars and Stripes Results Sunday May 26th 2013 Empty Re: EWF Presents Scars and Stripes Results Sunday May 26th 2013

Post by JJJohnson Mon 27 May 2013, 1:16 am

JK: HE KICKED OUT……THUNDER JUST KICKED OUT!

DF: MY MY…I GUESS THE CHALLENGER WANTS IT TOO…

“E-dub-F” chants are roaring from all around as the referee holds two fingers in the air and orders the match to continue. Liam Wood is looking at the referee, desperate for an answer, but the official just holds up two fingers and says we have to continue. Wood wipes sweat from his eyes as he staggers over to the corner and he crouches down, waiting for a moment to rise….Thunder is holding his neck, hurting from the extraordinary battle, as he pushes himself up off the mat and he staggers into the middle of the ring….

JK: SPEAR!

DF: CAUGHT HIM…..HE’S PUTTING HIM TO SLEEP!

Wood crashes into Thunder for the spear in the middle of the ring but Thunder somehow shows brilliant presence of mind to adjust his legs in midair and he drags Viper into a triangle choke as both men fall into the mat. Viper thrashes around wildly but Thunder has his arms trapped and is pulling up on the throat of the champion with his shinbone, nowhere for Viper to go….

JK: Wood is trapped, he can’t see anything and his oxygen supply is running out quickly….Thunder transitioned into that submission with expertise and now Viper is in a whole world of trouble…

DF: His title reign is staring down the barrels….he’s ready to go….a submission like this will take everything from you….

Wood has his arms in the air, scratching and clawing, blindly, at thin air as Thunder continues to tug back on his arms and pushing up against his windpipe. The referee is on the scene, asking Wood if he wants to quit, but the champion screams “no” and tries everything he can to get free….

JK: Wood is trying with all he has, I don’t think the champion will ever stop….but I just don’t know how he can escape here…

The cameras are zoomed in and the face of Wood, his eyes are closed and his skin is bright red, and the pain is etched all over. Thunder’s face is full of determination as he continues to press the air out of the champion, drawing his title reign to a close…

DF: Wood’s got no choice….

The referee is still trying to get an answer out of Wood and his hand trembles badly, teetering on the edge of submission, but the champion just will not give it up. He tries to push forward but the energy has drained from his entire body and he can’t fight any more. He slumps forwards, no more fight….

JK: I think Wood passed out….the pain is too much…

The referee looks concerned as he glances over to the timekeeper and then he grabs the arm of Wood and lifts it up…………………..it drops back down…

DF: As brave and as valiant as Wood is, I think it has all come to an end now….it was just too much…

The referee lifts his arm up into the air again and the crowd watch on as the official lets go…….the arm drops for a second time…

JK: It drops once more and this is all over….we will have a new champion…

Thunder is watching the referee’s every move as he grabs the wrist of Viper and he lifts it into the air again and drops it….it falls to the mat…

DF: He’s out…

JK: HE’S FIGHTING!

*Crowd ultra cheers

DF: How could you doubt it…?

Even the referee looks stunned as Wood’s arm pops into the air at the very last second, keeping the match alive. Thunder’s eyes widen with shock as Wood begins to kick his legs and drive forward, pushing with all of his being, before reaching out and he clings onto the bottom rope…

JK: He made the ropes….

DF: This is a match that will be talked about for years to come….I knew it was going to be good…but this good? This is as good as it gets, Johnny…

JK: Truly breath-taking stuff…

Thunder is almost unable to stand, stunned by what has happened, but he makes his way back up and he stumbles over to the ropes before climbing out onto the apron. He pushes his hair out of his face once more and he waits for Liam Wood to get back onto his feet before he springboards onto the top rope and flies through the air for a legdrop across the back of Viper’s head…

DF: Nobody home….

JK: ANKLELOCK!

Wood pulls out of the way at the last minute and sends Thunder crashing down on his backside. The challenger rolls over on his stomach in pain and it allows Viper to grab his ankle and twist it into the submission hold…

DF: Tables turned….now Thunder is in trouble…

Thunder yells out in pain as Wood twists his ankle and tries to force the submission. The challenger desperately claws at the mat and tries to make his way toward the ropes but Viper drags him back before he can grab ahold of them….

JK: Thunder may be the one that is forced to tapout…

Thunder twists back around onto his back and he kicks out with both feet, sending Wood flying across the canvass. Both men get back up to their feet and Thunder looks for a kick to the stomach of the champion but Wood catches his foot…

DF: Enzeguiri!

Thunder leaps up and tries to take Wood out with the flying kick but Viper ducks it, causing the challenger to land on his stomach, and then he synches in the anklelock for a second time…

JK: And now the trouble starts…..Thunder is dragged in again…..this may be the end of the line…

Thunder cries out in pain and he claws at his own head as he tries to rise above the agony and crawl toward the sanctuary of the ropes. Thunder reaches out to grab the ropes but he misses by some distance and Wood twists his ankle at a horrible angle…

DF: He’s going to tap out…

Thunder’s hand is shaking as he struggles to withstand the pain but he shakes his head when the referee asks him if he wants to quit. Wood continues to turn the ankle, extending the pressure on the muscle and bone, but Thunder punches down into the canvass and then drags himself forward….

JK: Big choice for Thunder here….tap out or fight on, perhaps risking serious injury…

DF: He won’t want to quit now….not after coming this far….

Thunder manages to close in on the ropes and he reaches out to grab ahold but Wood drags him back into the middle of the ring again and tries to turn the submission up a notch but the challenger turns onto his back and manages to bring Wood down with a drop-toe hold. Thunder tries to jump ontop for a crossface but Wood fights out and both men struggle back up before Wood stomps down on the injured ankle and then gutwrenches his foe into the air…

JK: Power…

DF: Headscissors!

Thunder sends Wood scrambling across the ring with the headscissors takedown and then they get back to their feet. Wood swings with a haymaker but Thunder ducks it and then whips Viper off the ropes, knocking him down with a dropkick as he returns. Thunder gets back up and he pulls Wood up by the head…

JK: Thunder…

Wood fights his way out of the grip of Thunder, rocks him back with hard right hands, and then he whips the challenger across the ring and attempts to leapfrog over him as he comes back…

DF: Caught him… TEQUILA BOMB!

Wood rolls down the back of the powerbomb attempt and into a schoolboy………………………………1………………………………..2……………………………shoulder up. They get back up and Wood swipes the legs of Thunder and bridges over the top……………………………..1………………………………2………..kickout. Both men fight to get to their feet first and Wood swings with a big right hand but Thunder counters into a backslide………………………………..1………………………2……………Viper just manages to kick out!

JK; What the hell is it going to take…

They fight back up to their feet and both men trade off with sickening rights and lefts in the centre of the ring. The crowd cheer each shot and then the champion starts to get the upper hand, rocking Thunder back and onto the heels of his feet. Wood then draws back and shoots forwards with a huge uppercut but Thunder ducks it and counters with a beautiful backdrop driver, snapping Wood’s head back off the canvass with serious impact. Thunder then crawls over to the corner and he begins to climb up to the top rope…

DF: The engines of these guys ran out of gas along time ago…..this is pure adrenaline now….

JK: This is what being a champion means to these men…..they have left it all in the ring tonight…

Thunder’s ankle is causing him some difficulty as he makes his way up the ropes and then finally he makes it to the top rope. But the slow climb has allowed Wood to get back to his feet and he drops against the ropes, causing Thunder to drop into a crotched position on the top rope. Wood makes his way over and he cracks right hands into the head of the challenger before climbing up onto the ropes with him and swinging his arm over his head….

DF: SUPER…

Thunder clings to the top rope and he refuses to be pulled off the ropes, using his free hand to drive vicious uppercuts up into the midsection of Viper and driving all of the wind out of him. Wood looks really winded as Thunder takes his chance and seizes his arm….

JK: THUNDERCLAP!

DF: YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME….

JK: HE NAILED IT ALL….

DF: IT’S OVER…

1..

………..2

………………………3!

JK: He’s done………………….what a match……………..

Ding ding ding

DF: I can’t believe what we have just witnessed…

Rick Ambrose: Ladies and gentlemen here is your winner…………..and STILL EWF Television Champion…………………The Viiipppeeerr………..Liiiiiiiiiaaaaaaaaaaaaammmm Woooooooooooooooooooooodddddddddd!

JK: In all my years I have never seen a match like that….you want awards, plaudits….you want to know what the professional wrestling industry is all about then watch that match over and over because you will never see better…incredible…

DF: I want to see a replay of that finish again…I thought Thunder has the victory…

The instant replays show Thunder attempting to “rock-bottom” Wood from the top rope to the mat below but Viper somehow counters in midair into the “World Eater”, driving Thunder’s face down into his knee, the impact of which leaves Thunder motionless and unconscious in the centre of the ring. Wood gains the three count and the match is over. We go back live and Liam Wood is on his knees, exhaustion all over his face….

JK: They said it was about respect….about finding out who the better man really was? I have to tell you, there isn’t much in it but on this night Liam Wood has just that extra bit in the tank….he was able to go the extra mile when it counted……I am speechless…

DF: One of the greatest matches of all time, both of those men are future hall of famers, future world champions and they should be proud of what they did here tonight…..that was incredible….breath-taking and I could have watched that all night…..

JK: They left it all in the ring…it was about pride and not once did they step out of line…after all the trash talk, the mixed build-up, tonight they went at it like true professionals and they gave these fans a spectacle that should never be forgotten….what a match………….what a night…..

DF: On a night when emotions are so high….when EWF/FEAR are on the brink, these two men have stolen the show….that contest would steal any show…..hats off to you boys…..wow oh wow…

The referee hands the TV Title back to Liam Wood and he takes a long look at it, a sparkle in his eyes, and then he smiles and raises the belt up over his head, drawing a massive cheer from the crowd. Wood then heads to all four turnbuckles in turn and he poses with the championship before climbing back down to the mat. Thunder has hobbled back to his feet and there is an intense staredown between both men before Thunder holds out his hand….

JK: True class from Thunder….he knows he came so close, on another night he could have been victorious….against any other opponent he probably would have been…but tonight the headlines belong to the TV Champion…..Liam Wood is edging closer to the mountain top….what a moment!

The flashbulbs go off and the crowd are applauding in appreciation as Wood and Thunder shake hands and then hug in the middle of the ring. Wood holds his friend’s arm in the air and the crowd roar in approval before both men leave the ring together.

DF: Two young men growing up back in Hereford, and now they are living the dream….putting EWF on the map……great stuff…

JK: It has been an historic, ground-breaking night here at Scars and Stripes….we have seen so many amazing things but we are not done yet, no sir….still to come is the main event….triple threat rules as Vincent Costello, Jimmy Phillips and Dario Machiavelli all do battle for the EWF World Heavyweight Championship…

DF: It’s do or die really for EWF….we need to keep ahold of that championship otherwise FEAR have full control, no way of stopping them…

JK: But can we trust Costello? Is all our hopes pitted on the shoulders of Jimmy Phillips? It really is going to be intense…..it’s going to be like nothing we have seen so far…

DF: It’s going to be a barnstormer alright, and remember we still have an announcement to come from the B.O.D…..I wonder what that is going to entail?

JK: Stay tuned to find out folks because it is all coming up very soon…..

Wood and Thunder reach the top of the stage and they both pose for the fans before Thunder nods respectfully at Wood and takes his leave. Wood then paces the stage and continues to pose for photos as the crowd chant his name and then the action goes backstage.

Official result: Liam Wood via pinfall
Match time: 30 minutes 22 seconds

EWF Presents Scars and Stripes Results Sunday May 26th 2013 Empty Re: EWF Presents Scars and Stripes Results Sunday May 26th 2013

Post by JJJohnson Mon 27 May 2013, 1:18 am

*The crowd cheer as the action goes backstage and Jimmy Phillips is with Hugh Cartwright. Phillips is dressed in a red, sleeveless hoody and he looks pumped up for the match ahead.

Cartwright: My guest at this time is one of the two men who will challenge for the EWF World Heavyweight Championship in a few moments time…..Jimmy Phillips!

*The crowd pop and Phillips raises his hand in the air

Cartwright: Jimmy, needless to say the last few months here in EWF have been nothing short of a rollercoaster for you…all the problems between yourself and FEAR, the injuries and heartache you have sustained….and it all comes down to tonight….a chance for you to finally throw off the shackles of this war and make a breakthrough for EWF by recognising your own personal dream and becoming the world champion here tonight…..

Phillips: It is a huge chance, one that I never felt I was going to get whilst FEAR were still around. But tonight I get to try and kill two birds with one stone….I can become a world champion, something I have dreamed of since I got in this business, and then I can send Dario Machiavelli straight to hell with his tail tucked between his legs….never to see him or FEAR ever again..

*The crowd cheer

Cartwright: So far tonight FEAR have been on a rampage…first the tag team match and then a little earlier we saw Ojore defeat Mike Conrad to become the Anarchy Champion…have you spoke to Mike since then, or seen him?

Phillips: I saw him when he was brought into the back and you don’t need my description to know that he was badly shaken up. But Mike is a warrior, he has been through so much himself and it will take a little more than that to keep him down…….Ojore and FEAR as a unit have had a great night tonight, it cannot be disputed, but the main jewel in this company’s crown is still up for grabs…it is up to me to make sure that they don’t get their hands on it….they cannot be allowed to leave here tonight with ultimate power…

Cartwright: But does that mean you have to stop Dario Machiavelli? Or do you have to stop both men? Because the rumours and the suspicion is rife, just whose side is Vincent Costello on?

Phillips: Honestly, I have no idea. Costello isn’t the sort of guy that anyone should pin their trust onto, it would be foolish to do so. We’ve had words and he claims that he is still fighting for EWF, but I just can’t take that chance. All Costello cares about is himself and being the world champion….he would do whatever it takes to keep ahold of that belt so I need to have eyes in the back of my head. The only thing I can do is concentrate my attacks all round…..take out Costello and Machiavelli….because at least I know I can trust myself, I know that the hopes of EWF can rest on my shoulders and I can deliver….that is exactly what I am going to do tonight.

Cartwright: The Board of Directors are here, they say they have an announcement to make but so far we have heard nothing. Do you have any idea what they might be announcing?

Phillips: Not a clue. There are rumours of course, especially concerning the long-term future of this brand and I really hope that isn’t true. But I also know that FEAR are forcing everyone’s hand right now. If they weren’t around then the B.O.D wouldn’t be here and this promotion wouldn’t be on the brink of collapse. Whichever way you cut it, no matter what direction you look from, the blame comes directly back to those sons of b1tches……I’m tired of it, I’m sick of seeing my friends suffer because of these men…..we’ve made a stand but tonight it needs to go one step further….it’s time to take FEAR into the trenches and see what they are really made of….it is time to put them out of business…

*The crowd cheer

Cartwright: Any finally predictions on the match?

Phillips: The fans know they are going to get 110% from me….just like they do every single time I step into that ring…..i’m giving it my all and hopefully that is going to be enough to leave tonight with that world title in my possession………….but no matter what goes down, I guarantee that FEAR are going get what is coming to them…..just wait and see!

Cartwright: Thanks for your time, Jimmy, good luck out there…

*Phillips nods in appreciation and the crowd roar him on as he walks out of the camera shot

EWF Presents Scars and Stripes Results Sunday May 26th 2013 Empty Re: EWF Presents Scars and Stripes Results Sunday May 26th 2013

Post by JJJohnson Mon 27 May 2013, 1:18 am

*We change scene and Carlton Jacobs is standing by as Enforcer leaves his locker-room, dressed in street clothes and ready to leave the arena.

Jacobs: Your not staying for the main event?

*Enforcer laughs

Enforcer: Is that a joke? Do you think I care what those losers do to each other here tonight, do you think I have any interest in the scuffle between EWF and FEAR? But the toys back in the pram girls because you are not fooling anybody…

It’s like handbags at dawn with these jacka55es and I don’t want any part of it….I’m getting out of here to relax, celebrate my victory here tonight and then get ready for the next chapter of Enforcer’s EWF career….

Jacobs: And what does the next chapter entail?

Enforcer: You see whoever wins this main event tonight?

*Jacobs nods his head

Enforcer: I’m coming for them……I may have only been around for a few weeks but already I see that these chumps have nothing on me, they are merely keeping my throne warm for me whilst I took care of a little business. But as you saw earlier tonight, business has been well and truly taken care of…Hero is on the scrapheap where he belongs and me, well I’m heading back to the big time….i’m getting what I deserve and nobody is going to stop that….

I’ve waited many years to get back to the mountain top, I’ve allowed every man and his dog take a share of the spotlight….but not any more……these fools better enjoy their moment in the sun tonight, they better savour the attention of the FEAR/EWF divide….because when I come to town, the sun goes down and it won’t matter whose side you are on….you are a victim nonetheless…

Jacobs: With all due respect, Enforcer, the future of EWF is in the balance…

Enforcer: Am I supposed to care about that? This place has been managed terribly….they signed Hero for a start and I never see him taking part in this promotion, only getting his a55 whooped by me…….EWF brought this upon themselves and now they will have to live with the consequences….the fact is, it doesn’t matter if it is EWF or anywhere else because Enforcer is back and the mountain top is calling…I’m getting a world championship back around my waist…..I promise you that!

*The crowd boo as Enforcer sneers at Jacobs and then brushes past him, walking out of the corridor toward the exit.

EWF Presents Scars and Stripes Results Sunday May 26th 2013 Empty Re: EWF Presents Scars and Stripes Results Sunday May 26th 2013

Post by JJJohnson Mon 27 May 2013, 1:18 am

*We change scene once more and the boos ring around again as Vincent Costello is standing by with Kelsey Hughes. The world championship belt rests over the shoulder of Costello and he slicks his hair back with a confident smile as the interview begins.

Kelsey: Vincent, in just a few moments you will defend your world championship against Dario Machiavelli and Jimmy Phillips, triple threat rules. I’m sure I don’t have to tell you this, but there is a lot of uncertainty surrounding your position right now….are you Team EWF, or are you fighting for FEAR?

*Costello smirks

Costello: Wrong on both counts…I’m team Costello Law and I always have been. I don’t wear gang colours for nobody, I don’t care about nobody but what I do care about is myself and this world heavyweight championship. I am sick and tired of hearing everyone with the same question, Vincent whose side are you on? I’m on my side….and that is the side of a winner, a pioneer, an all-time great in this business…..EWF and FEAR can go rot for all I care….

Kelsey: But primarily you have always said you were on the side of EWF. Has that chance changed?

Costello: Nothing has changed, for me, but everyone else has suddenly started questioning me at every turn, it can make a man very unhinged!

*He grins as he rubs his temples

Costello: I’ve got Phillips in my face, Conrad in my ear….Liam frickin Wood slithering under my cubicle when I try to take a dump….these guys have no trust, they have nothing….just like EWF has nothing…no hope….unless I am around….

I said from day one that I would fight for EWF because it protected my interest of keeping ahold of this belt….my opinion never changed. FEAR threaten the liquidation of this company and I cannot allow that to happen….I can’t let anyone take away my dream…..

Everyone is caught up on what happened last week…I had no control over a lover’s tiff between Machiavelli and Ojore….I didn’t have a clue what was going on between them…..but I did what any champion would do and I took advantage of that……it isn’t my fault that everyone else around here has no damn trust in them….sort your own (beep) out because without me, this company would already be in the morgue…

Kelsey: With FEAR being so close to taking control of this company, do you believe the Board of Directors may close this place down?

Costello: Am I a psychic now? How can I predict what those old coffin dodgers are going to do? All I know is that as long as I have this (he holds up the championship) then nobody else does and nobody else can have all the power, it is that simple. That means there is no reason to shut EWF down, no reason for anyone to panic….I’m the best the world, the pinnacle, number one without a doubt…..and nobody can put me down and take this from me….it won’t happen, not ever…..capiche?

Kelsey: It is triple threat rules, though….you don’t have to be lose a decision for the title to change hands…

Costello: I don’t think your listening, lady, there is no way I am leaving here tonight without this belt….one little pinfall for Jimmy Phillips last week changes nothing…..FEAR being on a roll tonight changes nothing……I’m the champ, I’m the best and that won’t change….so breathe easy…because I’m not a hero, I ain’t your friend or your ally….but aslong as my championship reign lives, so does EWF…

???: Then I guess tonight there is more than item heading for the incinerator?

*The crowd boo louder as Dario Machiavelli strolls into view

Costello: I’m sorry, did you say something? It’s just I was concentrating on the fact that I am five minutes away from kicking your a55 to give a damn about what you have to say…

*Machiavelli grins

Machiavelli: I agree that words are cheap….and actions have a much better ratio of delivering a message…I just want you to know, Vincent, that even if you wanted your FEAR membership, we don’t accept trash such as yourself…

Costello: Funny because I heard your membership expires after this match….no win, no renewal….so I guess once I’m done picking the bones from your carcass, FEAR are gonna feed on the scraps….face up to it, Dario, your such a loser that even your band of hyenas can’t carry you any more….this is your last chance, the pressure is all on you….and when you choke again, there will be nobody to save you from your own kind….FEAR is coming for you…..how screwed up is that?

Machiavelli: You can kid yourself with any assumption you like….but tonight I will be taking that belt from you and I will be leading FEAR to the promised land….dominance and power shall belong to us…

Costello: Cut all the depressing crap….bottom line, your coming for my championship and there is no damn way I’m letting you take it…over my dead body will you get what you want…

Machiavelli: Then I guess tonight you shall meet your maker, because I am not leaving without that belt…

*Both men stare at each other intensely before the action goes back to ringside.

EWF Presents Scars and Stripes Results Sunday May 26th 2013 Empty Re: EWF Presents Scars and Stripes Results Sunday May 26th 2013

Post by JJJohnson Mon 27 May 2013, 1:19 am

Main Event
EWF World Heavyweight Championship
Vincent Costello © vs Jimmy Phillips vs Dario Machiavelli

DF: So Costello is on our side?

JK: I don’t know…..Costello is out for himself and nobody else, I don’t think there is any way we can put our trust in him…

DF: He just seems so offhand with FEAR that there is no way he can be working with them…

JK: I am inclined to agree with you but there is always something nagging in the back of my mind….Costello will do anything to keep ahold of that belt, I don’t think there is anything he wouldn’t be willing to do…

DF: Selling his soul would be a steep price for a championship reign?

JK: I don’t think he would hesitate…

Ding ding

Rick Ambrose: Ladies and gentlemen the following contest is the main event of the evening!

*Crowd pop

Ambrose: It is scheduled for one fall and will be contested under triple threat rules…..this bout shall be for the EWF WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP!

*Crowd roar

DF: This is it though, the one we have all been waiting for…

JK: Such an amazing night and it comes down to this….the power struggle between EWF and FEAR has been going on for months, tonight we could see one of these entities pushed over the cliff and into the abyss….it really is hanging in the balance…

DF: So much pressure on the three men involved……should be a classic…

The crowd are in fine voice before the lights dim and the word “FEAR” appears on the big screen, drawing huge boos from the fans. The lights flash on and off before red pyros shoot high into the air and the first challenger makes his entrance.

Ambrose: Introducing the challengers………….first from Tinseltown, USA……………….weighing in at 250 pounds……………representing FEAR…………..Darrrriiiiiioooo Maaaaaaacccchhhiiiaaavvveeeellllliiiii!

JK: The director…..the man who until a couple of weeks ago we thought was in charge of FEAR…but now we know he is merely a puppet of whoever the real leader is…

DF: But he has still been instrumental in what FEAR have achieved to this point….his generalship has led them to the brink of total domination and that should not be forgotten…

JK: But in recent weeks, Dario’s grip has slipped on the control of this faction…he has lost many high profile matches and last week we saw some gaps emerge in the bond between him and the rest of his cohorts….if Machiavelli does not win the world championship tonight, his tenure with FEAR may be over…

DF: I think it will be….FEAR can’t afford to carry any passengers, no matter what Machiavelli has done…I think they have afforded him one more chance to prove what he can do….but they’ll cut ties if he is unsuccessful here at Scars and Stripes…

Machiavelli slowly walks down to the ring, his eyes fixated on the squared circle, as the abuse and taunts rain in from the crowd all around. Dario pays no attention at all as he strides to the steel steps and removes his cloak before climbing up into the ring. He paces back and forth before “Cold Ash” blasts out and every fan in attendance gets to their feet.

JK: What an ovation for “The Talent”….

Ambrose: From Cleveland, Ohio………………….weighing in at 257 pounds………………”The Talent”………..Jiiimmmmmmyyyy Phhhhhiiiiiiiilllllllllllliiiiiiiipppppppppppppppppppsssssssssssss!

DF: This is the entrance of a hero right now….this crowd could make all the difference tonight….Phillips is going to feel invincible with this support…

The noise is deafening as Jimmy Phillips runs out onto the stage, beads of perspiration running down his head. He walks from one side of the stage to the other, jogging on the spot as the fans snap photos of him and chant his name. He then begins to stride down the ramp, reaching out to touch the hands of the masses as he does so….

JK: Jimmy Phillips is a former college football player….when his dreams of making it to the NFL ended he turned to pro-wrestling……his ambition was to become the world champion, tonight he can fulfill that ambition and reach the summit of this industry…..an amazing character, a true professional and the man who carries the full weight of EWF upon his shoulders…

DF: Phillips is fast becoming a leader, whether he wanted the job or not…the fans and the rest of the roster see him as a man they can believe in….he has the heart, the drive and the will to succeed…..he could be vital to EWF’s survival, he could be the man to put an end to FEAR…

JK: There is a lot of history between these two men here….Machiavelli and Phillips have been at war since EWF began…..FEAR responsible for breaking Phillips’ shoulder, kidnapping his fiance, they turned his life upside down and tonight Jimmy Phillips can finally rectify it all by walking out with the championship in his grasp…

Phillips jumps up onto the apron and sends red pyros shooting out of all four turnbuckles, drawing more cheers from the crowd. He then glares at Machiavelli, who just stares back, and then climbs into the ring. Phillips prowls around, as the referee stands in between him and Dario, and then he unzips his jacket and launches it into the crowd. The noise is at fever pitch and then “Godfather” echoes out and purple pyros accompany the entrance of the champion.

Ambrose: And their opponent…………..from Hell’s Kitchen, New York City………weighing in at 225 pounds……….he is the current, reigning and defending EWF World Heavyweight Champion…………..Viiiiinnnccceeeennnnnt Cooooosssstttteeeelllllloooooo!

JK: The champion….the wildcard…..what else can you say?

DF: That he is one of the best in this business, like him or not, and Costello could be a huge factor in the EWF/FEAR war if he wants to be….

JK: I can’t argue that…..but he just isn’t a man you can trust, not even an inch. Costello only cares about himself and that championship…..

Costello swaggers out onto the stage, amid the boos of the crowd, and he smirks before raising the world championship up in the air. He makes his way down to the ring and then climbs up onto the apron, staring down both of his opponents as he does so. Costello then wipes his feet and climbs into the ring, walking straight to the centre and lifting the belt into the air. He looks at both Phillips and Machiavelli and smiles before passing the championship to the referee….

JK: That’s what this match is all about…..the richest prize in this promotion….

DF: And the key to dominance…..if FEAR get their hands on that belt tonight then it is all over for EWF I believe….it may be about the world title but there is so much more riding on this match….it really is on a knife edge….

JK: The world championship was won by Vincent Costello at last month’s Atonement pay per view, where he defeated Jason Sparkz…..but this is a level above that, the pressure is well and truly on tonight for the champion and I just don’t know if he will be able to come through it…

DF: Costello is a survivor, he knows how to get out of situations like this and walk away victorious so I wouldn’t be too concerned about that….but it depends on how much Phillips wants it, how much Machiavelli wants it….all three men under pressure…..they have to perform, they all need this win…

JK: With the rest of EWF and FEAR watching….this really is a main event that has captured the imagination of everyone involved……we are talking about the future of this company…

The referee has a final word with all three men and then he lifts the championship up in the air before passing it out to the timekeeper. Costello, Phillips and Machiavelli all exchange glances at each other and then the referee gives the signal for the bell, getting the match underway.

DF: Main event of Scars and Stripes…EWF Championship on the line, triple threat rules…

JK: As you say, Don, the lights are on bright and it is time to prove a point…

All three men step out away from their corners and then Costello lands a sneaky boot to the stomach of Jimmy Phillips and then slams a knee into the side of JP’s head that sends him through the ropes and onto the apron. The crowd boo and then Costello rounds on Machiavelli and beckons him forward…

DF: Costello trying to make this into a one on one match to begin with…

JK: That is the problem with triple threat rules, hard to find a time to score a decisive fall…

Machiavelli and Costello edge around each other before they lockup in the centre of the ring and Costello twists around the side to put Dario in a side headlock. Machiavelli squirms and throws quick side elbows before turning out and attempting to snapmare Costello over, only for VC to lock his arms around the neck of his opponent…

DF: Sleeper…

Machiavelli turns to the side and he lifts Costello up before planting him down with a back suplex. They get back to their feet and Machiavelli slaps Costello around the face before grabbing his arm and whipping him into the corner. He chases in but Costello drives his knees up and knocks Machiavelli back before lifting himself onto the second rope….

JK: Phillips back in the mix…

Costello prepares to jump off but Phillips is back in the ring and he slams a fist into the champion’s stomach before grabbing him and slamming him down off the ropes onto the canvass below. Phillips then floors Machiavelli with a running shoulder tackle and he waits for Costello to get up and run at him….

DF: Phillips scouted beautifully…

JP drops down and pulls the ropes, sending Costello flying over the top to the outside of the ring. Phillips then rocks Machiavelli with right hands before whipping him off the ropes and sending him up into a backdrop as he returns. Machiavelli staggers back to his feet and Phillips nails him with a belly to belly slam………………..1……………………………….2……………………………shoulder up!

JK: First pinfall of the match……

DF: Jimmy Phillips starting off in good form…I like to see that….

Phillips drags Machiavelli up and looks to powerbomb him but Dario kicks his legs and then counters with a backdrop of his own. Phillips gets to his feet and Machiavelli looks for a clothesline but JP ducks it, pushes Dario off the ropes and then floors him with a samoan drop as he comes back…………………….1………………………………..2………………….kickout again. Phillips gets up to his feet and he stalks Machiavelli, waiting for him to rise…

JK: TOUCH….

Costello is back in the ring and he clotheslines Phillips from behind before he can hit the rock-bottom, toppling him to the ground. Costello then kicks Machiavelli in the stomach and he plants him with a DDT……………….1…………………..2………………….Phillips breaks up the count. Costello gets back to his feet and he slams a European uppercut under the chin of Phillips, dropping him back on the mat, before he pulls Machiavelli up…

DF: Fisherman’s…

Machiavelli spins out of the suplex attempt and he kicks Costello in the gut before turning him around into an inverted DDT position…

JK: FINAL…

Costello turns his body and he counters with a backdrop that sends Machiavelli over the ropes and onto the apron. Jimmy Phillips is up and he tries to take Costello out with a running clothesline but the champ ducks and JP knocks Machiavelli off the apron, allowing Costello to take advantage by rolling Phillips up…………………………..1………………………………2…………………..Phillips pops his shoulder!

DF: Costello close to stealing one there…

Phillips flies back up and swings with a haymaker but Costello ducks and counters with an atomic drop and follows with a neckbreaker………………………….1………………………………..2…………………Phillips kicks out. Costello clambers back up, ignoring the jeers of the crowd, and he ushers Phillips to stand before he grabs his right arm…

JK: Olympic….

Phillips jumps out of the side and he pushes Costello off the ropes before lifting him into a spinebuster as he comes back……………………………………..1………………………2………………………Costello kicks out. Phillips gets up and he pulls the champion up before lifting him into a suplex position….

DF: Took too long…

EWF Presents Scars and Stripes Results Sunday May 26th 2013 Empty Re: EWF Presents Scars and Stripes Results Sunday May 26th 2013

Post by JJJohnson Mon 27 May 2013, 1:20 am

Phillips tries to hold Costello up in the air for ten seconds but it allows Machiavelli to return and he slams a fist into the stomach of Phillips, causing him to drop VC back to the mat. Machiavelli then scoop slams Phillips onto the canvass and runs off the ropes, returning with a kneedrop to the top of the head. Phillips sways back up and Machiavelli pulls him into a swinging sleeper slam…………………………..1………………………….2…....Costello makes the break. Costello kicks Machiavelli in the stomach and pummels him back to the ropes before attempting an irish whip…

JK: Machiavelli got the drop on it…

Machiavelli reverses and sends Costello off the ropes, but eats a boot to the face on the comeback as he was looking for a backdrop. Machiavelli staggers and Costello wipes him out with a running clothesline before letting him back up and he scoops him onto his shoulders….

DF: Go to…

Machiavelli rakes the eyes of Costello and slides off the back, nailing a Russian legsweep…………………….1…………………………….2………………..kickout. Machiavelli gets back up and Jimmy Phillips charges in with a sickening knee to the stomach and then flips him up….

JK: Dominator powerbomb…

The crowd cheer as Phillips slams Machiavelli down onto his face with the powerbomb and then makes the cover……………………………..1……………………………….2…………………Vincent Costello jumps across and interrupts the count. Costello gets back to his feet and he hammers punches into the back of Phillips before pulling him up and attempting a suplex….

DF: Phillips with the inside cradle………..

1…………………………..2……………….Costello kicks out. They get back to their feet and Costello jams his thumb in the eye of Phillips, drawing boos from the crowd, and then he kicks him the stomach and nails the fisherman’s suplex…..

..
..
…………………….Machiavelli dives across and breaks it up!

JK: Thumb to the eye is legal under triple threat rules…

DF: No disqualifications in a match like this….

Machiavelli kicks Costello hard in the stomach as he gets up and then lifts him into a suplex position before dropping him down across the top rope. Costello just hangs there as Machiavelli runs to the opposite side and then returns with a solid boot to the head that sends the champion tumbling to the outside of the ring. Machiavelli then turns back around as Jimmy Phillips gingerly gets up and he lifts him up onto his shoulders….

JK: DEATH VALLEY…

Phillips drops off the back and attempts to counter with a masterlock but Machiavelli sits down into an inverted jawbreaker, which sends Phillips staggering back into the corner. Machiavelli then chases in and lands with a stinger splash before lifting Phillips up onto the top rope. He clambers onto the second rope himself and lands with right hands and chops on JP before lifting his arm over…

DF: Machiavelli thinking superplex from on high…

Phillips begins to battle back with right hands and wobbles Machiavelli on the edge of falling but Dario fires back with a rake of the eyes and then he pulls Phillips arm over again, ready for launch…

JK: Here we go…..wait…………OH WOW!

Crowd: That was awe-some x5

DF: Incredible stuff….exactly why this is the main event…

Machiavelli looks ready for the superplex when Vincent Costello returns to the fray. Costello puts his head underneath Machiavelli’s legs in the corner and he powerbombs Dario down onto the canvass, pulling Phillips into a destructive superplex at the exact same time. Costello looks stunned and unable to decide who to cover before making the pin on Machiavelli….

JK: Costello might have it here…

1……………………………….2…………………………..Machiavelli kicks out. Costello quickly pushes himself off Dario and jumps over to Phillips…………………………………..1……………………………………..2………………………..Phillips gets his shoulder up!

DF: No….neither of them worked out….

Costello slicks his hair back and breathes deeply as the referee tells him it was a two count. The champion gets to his feet and he looks from Machiavelli to Phillips and back again, waiting for one of them to get back to their feet….

JK: Costello is the ascendency now……he needs to take full advantage of that….

DF: Neither EWF or FEAR benefits from this….

Costello turns as Machiavelli is the first one up and he lifts him up onto his shoulders and spins him around before delivering the GTS in the centre of the ring……………………………..1……………………………………..2……………………Phillips breaks up the count at the very last second!

JK: That was a three count right there, Jimmy Phillips keeping this match alive…

Costello looks angry as he charges Phillips back into the corner and scores with crunching shoulder thrusts to the midsection. He then stomps on the stomach of JP furiously and opens up with hands, prompting the referee to intervene…

DF: You can’t disqualify him ref….

JK: No but he Costello was losing his cool a little…

Phillips is slumped against the turnbuckle as Costello warns the referee out of his way and then runs back in with a knee to the stomach. Phillips drops down into a seated position and Costello chokes him with his boot before backing away to the opposite side. He sizes the angle up and smiles before running back across….

DF: He’s gonna kick his head off….

Machiavelli comes from the blindside and wipes Costello out at the knee, just before he could soccer punt Phillips in the face. Costello writhes in pain on the floor as Machiavelli grabs his leg and then twists around, synching in a figure four leglock in the middle of the ring….

JK: Costello in big trouble now….he may have to tap…

DF: And then FEAR will have total contol…

Costello yells out in pain as Machiavelli drops back into the submission, wrapping his legs tightly around the knee and legs of the champion. The referee asks Costello if he wants to quit but he screams “no” as Machiavelli leans back, jumping up and down on the canvass to increase the pressure…

JK: Costello might have no choice but to tapout….

DF: Machiavelli is trying to break his leg here…this could be the end of the line…

JK: For Costello and EWF….the end is nigh…

Costello’s face is red with pain and he tries to drag himself toward the ropes, but Machiavelli has his legs locked tight. The referee is asking Costello what he wants to do but the champion just shakes his head and tries to pull himself back to safety…

DF: Costello needs to dig deep, he needs to show why he is a champion…

Costello is pulling at his hair and really struggling to stay in the match, finally dropping back with both shoulders on the mat……………………………..1…………………………………………….2……………………..shoulder up. The submission is still locked in and Costello’s hand is shaking….

JK: FEAR are on the cusp of victory….

The end looks imminent as Costello’s hand lowers toward the mat, only for Jimmy Phillips to dive across and break it up in the nick of time. JP then lets Machiavelli up and he hammers him back to the ropes with a three punch combo before clotheslining him over the top rope to the outside…

DF: Not the first time in the last couple of months it is Jimmy Phillips who keeps this alive for EWF…

Phillips then turns around and he begins to stalk Vincent Costello, who is struggling to get back to his feet. Phillips’ eyes are filled with hunger as he watches the champion’s every step and then pulls him into the middle of the ring….

JK: TOUCH…

Costello slams hard elbows into the side of Phillips’ head and pulls himself free before dropping down to his knees and landing a thunderous low-blow to the challenger, drawing huge boos from the crowd. Costello then grins as he stands up and grabs Phillips…

DF: TOUCHDOWN!

JK: Phillips own move…could Costello make it more personal…

The crowd look stunned as Costello plants Jimmy Phillips with the “rock bottom” in the middle of the ring and then hooks his legs……………………………………1……………………………………….2……………………………….thr-Dario Machiavelli pulls Phillips out of the ring at the last moment and leaves him sprawled on the floor. Costello looks confused as Machiavelli rolls in behind him and runs at the champ…

DF: Big boot…

Costello ducks the blow and then he kicks Machiavelli in the stomach before looking for an olympic slam but Machiavelli jumps out of the back and he whips the champion off the ropes…

JK: OMERTA!

DF: No way…

The shock is in evidence again as Machiavelli uses Costello’s own finishing move to slam him down into the canvass and he makes the cover……………………………….1…

…………………Jimmy Phillips breaks it up at the final moment!

JK: Machiavelli was on the brink….

Machiavelli gets up and lashes hard chops into the chest of Phillips, only for JP to fire back with hard right hands. They slug it out in the middle of the ring until Machiavelli kicks Phillips in the thigh and then hooks his arms….

DF: Double armed DDT…

JK: COUNTERED!

Phillips counters into a northern lights suplex……………………………..1………………………….2…………….Machiavelli just gets his shoulder up off the mat. They get back to their feet and Machiavelli looks for a discus punch but Phillips ducks underneath it…

DF: FINAL CUT!

The crowd roar in approval as Phillips drops Machiavelli with the inverted DDT in the middle of the ring and makes the cover….

EWF Presents Scars and Stripes Results Sunday May 26th 2013 Empty Re: EWF Presents Scars and Stripes Results Sunday May 26th 2013

Post by JJJohnson Mon 27 May 2013, 1:21 am

Phillips gets back up to his feet and he hauls Costello across the ring with a huge belly to belly suplex before letting him back up again and this time he scoops him up onto his shoulders and charges forwards….

DF: Shades of the Bulldogg……POWERSLAM!

The ring shakes as Phillips ploughs Costello into the mat with the running powerslam and makes the cover………………………………1……………………………………2………………………shoulder up. Costello rolls out of the ring as Phillips gets back to his feet and he drags Machiavelli up by the hair before flipping him into the air…..

JK: Power…ouch!

Machiavelli counters the powerbomb into a falling x-factor facebuster and then rolls out of the ring himself, leaving Phillips alone on the canvass. Vincent Costello has made his way over to the announce area, where only the spanish announce table remains intact, and he grabs a steel chair and then jabs it into the midsection of Dario Machiavelli as he comes in close….

DF: Costello turning this into a street brawl now….just the way he likes it to be….

Costello grabs Machiavelli and he bounces his head off the top of the announce table several times, sending Machiavelli down to the ground. Costello then rips the coverings off the table and begins to pull the monitors….

JK: Remember what we witnessed with Mike Conrad earlier…

DF: I think Machiavelli may be in for the same fate….

Costello smirks as he waits for Machiavelli to get back up and then he jams the monitor into the side of the FEAR member’s head, sending him staggering across the announce table. Costello slings the monitor across the floor and then climbs onto the table himself, kneeling over Machiavelli and connecting with solid right hands to the head….

JK: Costello takes any threat to his world title seriously…..he wants to hurt the challengers tonight…..

DF: He’s beaten off the challenge of Dario Machiavelli before, he is confident he can do it again…

Costello stands up on the announce table and he stomps down on Machiavelli before slowly beginning to pull him back to a vertical base. Costello finally gets Machiavelli up and he looks around at the wild crowd and then prepares for a suplex….

JK: Machiavelli is going for a ride….

CRACK! The crowd cheer as Jimmy Phillips lashes a chair across the back of Vincent Costello, causing him to drop down on his knees and topple off the table. Machiavelli staggers forwards and Phillips swings back again….SMACK! The chair cracks the top of Dario’s head and leaves him sprawled out on the table as Phillips climbs up….

DF: Jimmy Phillips is treating this like the fight of his damn life…just like any pro-wrestler should….this is a world championship match, son, you do whatever the hell you need to…

The crowd are chanting Phillips’ name as he beckons Machiavelli to stand up on the table, his eyes glowing with fire. Machiavelli is dazed and confused but slowly and surely he clambers back up, allowing Phillips to spin him around…

JK: TOUCH….no wait, Costello is back up there….what the….OH MY GOD!

Crowd: Holy (beep) x10

DF: UN-BE-LIEVABLE

JK: DOUBLE TOUCHDOWN THROUGH THE TABLE!

The entire Coliseum is on their feet as Phillips shakes his head and drags both Machiavelli and Costello toward him before nailing them with a massive rock-bottom that drives all three men through the announce table and to the floor below. The referee is in shock, unable to act, as all the competitors lay motionless on the floor…

DF: That is what you do when you fight for the richest prize in the game…you go to town, you do whatever in the hell you need to do….Jimmy Phillips is preaching tonight….

JK: Phillips showing what this means to him….but he may very well have just taken everyone, including himself, out of this match….

The noise levels from the crowd don’t die down as all three superstars try to crawl to safety and back to their feet. Vincent Costello is practically unmoving but Jimmy Phillips and Dario Machiavelli are trying to make their way back to the ring….

DF: Costello was underneath when the impact landed, he took the full brunt of that move…

JK: It may have wrote him out of the conclusion of this match….

Phillips uses the apron to pull himself up and roll back in via the bottom rope. He is a little groggy but manages to stand up, spotting Dario Machiavelli trying to climb onto the apron.

DF: Phillips is the freshest…

JK: Not anymore…

Phillips grabs Machiavelli by the head and attempts to haul him over the top rope but Dario drops down, guillotining JP across the top rope and sending him sprawling across the ring. Machiavelli then stumbles over to the corner and he begins to climb toward the top…

DF: Machiavelli going to the top rope after what he has just been through…

JK: FEAR expects a result, he needs to go beyond the pale…

Phillips gets back up and he runs forwards to block Machiavelli off but can’t stop him jumping off and connecting with a half crossbody, flying kneedrop that hits JP around the side of the neck and sends him to the floor. Machiavelli is able to crawl across and make a cover……………………..1………………………..2…………..Phillips kicks out.

DF: I can’t believe Phillips put these guys through a table and still Machiavelli has the control…..

JK: That’s how quickly momentum can shift….

Machiavelli pulls Phillips up and tries to piledriver him but Phillips swipes his opponents’ legs and then slingshots him into the corner. Machiavelli staggers back from the turnbuckle and Phillips grabs ahold of him…

DF: MASTERLOCK!

The crowd cheer as Phillips practically has the submission locked in before Machiavelli flicks his heel out and catches JP right between the legs, doubling him up in agony. Machiavelli then swivels around and plants Phillips with a double armed DDT………………………………..1………………………………….2…………………………….shoulder up!

JK: I thought that was the end…Machiavelli using any trick he has to…

Machiavelli complains to the referee, allowing Jimmy Phillips to roll from the ring and catch his composure. Machiavelli pushes the official backward and orders him to count faster, but the referee shakes his head and tells Dario to back off. Vincent Costello is just climbing back up onto the apron and Machiavelli grabs him before suplexing him back into the ring and covering………………………….1…………………………..2……………….shoulder up!

DF: Costello is going to be hurt after going through that table….big chance for Machiavelli….

Machiavelli drags him back up and nails a snap suplex before dropping repeated elbow drops to the chest. Costello holds his chest as he staggers back up and Machiavelli nails a violent swinging neckbreaker before running the ropes and returning with a jumping kneedrop…………………………….1………………………2…………..Costello kicks out again!

JK: Costello is wearing himself out with the kick-outs, Machiavelli is making him work…

Machiavelli gets back to his feet and he walks around Costello, a dark look on his face, and he waits for the world champion to rise before scooping him up onto his shoulders….

DF: DEATH VALLEY…

Costello drops off the back and he kicks Machiavelli in the stomach before spinning him over and nailing an Olympic slam………………Costello doesn’t have the energy to make the cover, leaving both men to recuperate on the canvass…

JK: Desperation from Costello but it paid off….

DF: He keeps this match alive…

Costello crawls into the corner and he uses the ropes to pull himself up, holding the bottom of his back as he does. Just as he gets back to his feet Machiavelli is up and he runs in for a bodysplash…

JK: Nobody home…

Costello dodges and Machiavelli ploughs into the turnbuckle before staggering back around and Costello runs off the ropes, returning with a flying knee that takes Machiavelli out at the jawline. Costello then staggers over to the corner and he clambers up to the top rope…

DF: This is Costello’s chance……what a moment……KERB STOMP!

JK: SWEET MOTHER….

The flashbulbs go off as Costello jumps through the air and he slams both feet down into the chest of Machiavelli at the same time, driving all the wind out of the FEAR man, but at the exact same time Jimmy Phillips sprints across the ring and almost rips Costello out of his boots with a momentous spear….

DF: New champion…

Costello’s right boot somehow finds the bottom rope at the very final second, rendering the pinfall invalid and allowing for a collective intake of breath and exhalation from the crowd. Phillips lays slumped next to Costello, cursing his luck, as the referee says the match must continue…

JK: I just don’t know what it is going to take….

DF: These guys have put in a herculean effort….but still we press on…someone is leaving tonight as the world champion but who will it be…

Phillips spits across the canvass, sweat dripping from his head, as he lumbers over to the ropes and begins to get back up to his feet. Vincent Costello is slumped on his stomach, motionless, as JP turns his attention to Dario Machiavelli, who is just getting back up…

JK: There cannot be much more left in the tank of these men….there just can’t be…

DF: You would be surprised how far a man can go when the richest prize in the game is up for grabs…

Machiavelli stumbles up and Phillips hooks him around the waist for a German suplex but Machiavelli rolls forward into a pinning combo…………………………….1…………………………..2………………………shoulder up. They get back up and Machiavelli kicks Phillips in the stomach before whipping him into the corner. He charges in as well, looking for a splash but Phillips moves aside and then runs off the adjacent ropes as Machiavelli staggers out….

JK: GAME-CHANGER!

DF: DEATH VALLEY DRIVER….

The crowd are in stunned silence as Machiavelli ducks the “clothesline from hell” and lifts Phillips up onto his shoulders before drilling him with the DVD…

Machiavelli looks furious as he rushes over and grabs Costello by the shoulder to confront him but VC spins around and cracks Machiavelli with a huge right hand that leaves Dario slumped on the back, looking up at the lights…

JK: Costello has those damn brass knucks…

DF: But now the decision to get rid of the referee is costing him…nobody to make a count….

Costello is looking at the motionless bodies of Dario Machiavelli and Jimmy Phillips and then he walks to the ropes and beckons to the back for another referee to run out for assistance. The crowd are booing Costello as he pleads for another official….

JK: Costello desperate to get another referee out here…maybe he should have thought about that before he attacked the one assigned to this match….

DF: I THINK THAT IS THE LEAST OF HIS WORRIES….

EWF Presents Scars and Stripes Results Sunday May 26th 2013 Empty Re: EWF Presents Scars and Stripes Results Sunday May 26th 2013

Post by JJJohnson Mon 27 May 2013, 1:22 am

The boos go up to the highest level as “Seven nation army” suddenly plays out of the speakers and Vincent Costello’s eyes widen with shock as Alex Garcia, Tyler Roth and Ojore come striding out onto the stage, wearing “FEAR” vests. All three men are smiling down at the ring and then they begin to walk…

JK: This isn’t right….FEAR don’t need to be out here….

DF: Remember everyone wondering if Vincent Costello was working with these guys? Well unless he is the world’s best actor then I don’t think there is a chance in hell….

Costello looks genuinely intimidated as FEAR begin to close in on the ring, threatening his chances of victory and survival. Costello seems to have no options left when the crowd roar and Robin Reborn, Mr Jones and Liam Wood all come storming out to the ring to tackle FEAR….

JK: I should have known this was going to happen….

DF: Even with all of the security guards in the building, nothing can stop this war from waging on….

The crowd are on their feet as Reborn, Jones and Wood clash with the members of FEAR on the outside of the ring and they begin to brawl all around. Roth and Jones go toe to toe as Reborn fights with Garcia and Wood tries to tackle the ferocious form of Ojore. All members of ringside staff are fleeing for safety as security begin to pour down at ringside….

JK: Backup has arrived….the Board of Directors hired these security members to stop the EWF/FEAR war from overspilling but I am not sure anything could have ever stopped that….

DF: Well they failed miserably no matter what…

Cameras and equipment are sent flying as Roth and Jones are brawling on the floor, Robin Reborn is still fighting with Garcia in the aisleway and Liam Wood and Ojore are punching it out near the announce table. It takes almost an entire security force to even try to restore calm….

JK: Not even these security members can solve this problem…

In the ring, Vincent Costello is looking around in shock before Dario Machiavelli sneaks up behind him and drops him….

DF: Machiavelli just nailed the FINAL CUT in the middle of the ring…..it is all over….

A new referee comes bounding down to the ring, avoiding the carnage all around, and slides into the ring to make the cover…

………………………Jimmy Phillips makes the save!

JK: I thought Machiavelli had it…

DF: Nobody wants to give this up…

Jimmy Phillips rolls back to his feet and he waits for Machiavelli to stand before drawing him in and seizing ahold of him…

JK: Touch…

Phillips looks to nail the rock-bottom but Machiavelli elbows his way out and then he lifts JP up onto his shoulders….

DF: DEATH VALLEY…

Phillips drops off the back and he runs off the ropes with full speed, rushing back as Machiavelli turns on his heel….

JK: GAME-CHANGER!

DF: GAME OVER….

Phillips almost decapitates Machiavelli with the “clothesline from hell” and he makes the cover………………………………1………………………………………………..2…………………………Drake Callihan dives in the ring for the save!

JK: Where the hell did he come from?

DF: FEAR is everywhere….

Phillips gets back up and he stares into the smirking face of Drake Callihan before he levels him with a huge right hand. The crowd cheer as Phillips drags Callihan up and he slams vicious punches into his face before whipping him off the ropes and he bench presses him up into the air on the comeback. Phillips walks Callihan to the ropes and then throws him to the outside, taking out Alex Garcia in the aisleway. Phillips then turns back around….

JK: Roth is in there….F-5!

The crowd are booing furiously as Roth lifts Phillips up onto his shoulders and then drills him with the F-5 in the centre of the ring. He flexes his abnormal muscles and looks set to do more damage as Robin Reborn dives from the top rope with a missile dropkick that connects with Roth’s back and sends him rolling from the ring. Reborn then suicide dives through the ropes onto Roth….

DF: Will security please do their damn job…

Security grab ahold of Reborn and try to restrain him as Vincent Costello gets back up in the ring and he makes a beeline for Jimmy Phillips…

JK: The pathway is open for Costello once again….

DF: Have FEAR helped him….

JK: Is it deliberate?

Costello is just about to drop down and make the cover when he is spun around by Ojore who seizes him with both hands around the throat and lifts him off the ground, planting him with an inhuman chokebomb in the middle of the ring. Ojore’s emotionless eyes stare out at the booing crowd…

DF: We have our answer….Ojore just laid out Costello….

JK: It’s all for Machiavelli….he’s gonna win this damn thing….

Liam Wood rolls into the ring and he sprints forwards, managing to tackle Ojore and sends them both through the ropes to the outside, where security jump on them. In the ring, Machiavelli, Jimmy Phillips and Vincent Costello are all down….

DF: This is insane, what chaos are we witnessing here….

JK: IT CAN’T BE….

The crowd suddenly erupt as “The Boss” screams out of the speakers and Daniel Magnusson, dressed in a crisp grey suit, comes marching out onto the stage. He has a thunderous look on his face as he steps down to the ring, walking straight past the warring superstars all around. He picks a steel chair up from the outside of the ring and then he climbs up onto the apron….

DF: FEAR put Magnusson out….they left him battered and bloody…

JK: The COO is here at Scars and Stripes…

The referee in the ring doesn’t know what to do as Dario Machiavelli and Jimmy Phillips both stagger back to their feet. Alex Garcia manages to grab Phillips’ feet from the outside and he drags him under the bottom rope, only for security to run over and tackle both men. Machiavelli makes a quick beeline for the unconscious form of Vincent Costello…..CRACK!

DF: OH MY GOD!

*Crowd pop

JK: I don’t think that is in the job description…

Every fan at ringside is on their feet as Magnusson slams the steel chair right over the top of Machiavelli’s head, dropping the FEAR member to the ground. Huge chants of “E-dub-f” ring all around as Vincent Costello places half a palm on Machiavelli’s chest and Daniel Magnusson orders the referee to count….

DF: Costello is better than FEAR…

JK: That’s the logic…

Ambrose: Ladies and gentlemen here is your winner…………………and STILL EWF World Heavyweight Champion………..Viiiinnnccceeennnnnttt Coooossssttttttttttteeeelllllllllooooooooooooo!

JK: I can’t believe what we have just witnessed….the spillage of the EWF/FEAR war….the return of Daniel Magnusson….the victory of Vincent Costello, what a match………what a main event….

DF: But still we are left with more answers than questions…………where do FEAR go from here? Have EWF won the war?

JK: I think this war is far from over….but FEAR are going to need re-think a few things, perhaps Machiavelli is not the man to lead them forwards…I just don’t know….but what I do know is this, something needs to be done…because this warzone cannot continue to go unpunished…

DF: Especially now that Daniel Magnusson has returned and he got involved in this match…rightly or wrongly that is not his position…

The crowd are making a lot of noise as the security around ringside finally have the situation under control and have managed to divide the members of FEAR and EWF. Drake Callihan is looking outraged as FEAR stare up at Daniel Magnusson, who holds the steel chair in hand, whilst the referee hands the EWF Title back to Vincent Costello. VC cradles the championship against his chest, kissing it, as Jimmy Phillips stare from a seated position in the corner.

JK: Nobody can quite believe what has just happened here…..EWF/FEAR…..everyone is just watching the ring in shock….

DF: Costello once again defies the odds…..he’s walked away as champion and not many expected him to…..FEAR have fallen at this final hurdle again and they are going to need to change it up if they want total dominance…

JK: But now EWF has something to build on….we fought them back tonight, despite everything we went through…..

Chants of “E-dub-f” continue to ring around the arena as the security stand in front of the superstars at ringside, and then Mr Riley from the Board of Directors comes walking onto the stage, looking less than impressed.

DF: I almost forgot about the B.O.D announcement….

JK: After what we have seen tonight I can’t blame you…

DF: Riley doesn’t look pleased though…

Riley: I’m sorry to come out here after a very successful pay per view event…

*The crowd cheer

Riley: But as a representative of the Board of Directors, I am afraid that something has to be done and it has to be done right now. As if the “war” between EWF and FEAR was not already bad enough, affecting every show and every member of this roster….spilling over into the live shows and ruining matchups….now we have a respected member of the business world, a colleague of mine, Daniel Magnusson personally interjecting himself into matches…

*Magnusson looks up at Riley, who shakes his head

Riley: I don’t know what has gotten into you, Daniel, but this has gone far enough….you were chosen by your peers to be the front of this promotion but you have proven yourself incapable of such a duty….

JK: What’s he saying?

Riley: This isn’t just your investment, me and everyone else is losing money hand over fist because you cannot control this asylum…..we were willing to negotiate but tonight has taken it too far….getting involved in matches? You are not a professional wrestler, Daniel….

We entrusted you with a job….to build this empire…to find a television deal…to sign the best talent in the world and steady this ship….but I look around and I see no tv deal, a crumbling empire and wild, ravenous talent that you cannot control…..you have completely lost the confidence of everyone at HyperEx, Daniel….we are so disappointed…

*The crowd boo furiously

Riley: I didn’t want to end this night on a sour note but you left us no choice in the matter….I want you to know that as of right now, the EWF Board of Directors is stripping you of your General Manager and COO positions…we cannot remove you from the board, you are a major shareholder, but you will no longer have ultimate say in the day to day operations of this company…

*More boos

DF: This is dreadful…

Riley: We will also be making a further review of our own situation and in ten nights time at Conflict we will make our final decision regarding the future of this company…you have left us no choice, Daniel, and I have to be honest….unless some miracle can be discovered, things are coming to an end…

JK: WHAT? This cannot be happening…..

*Daniel Magnusson is staring at Mr Riley with a mixed look of anger and sadness. The members of EWF around ringside look furious as FEAR laugh at them.

Riley: I won’t say any more in public, we can discuss any other matters in private…..but like I said, there is ten days until the final decision….I suggest you all starting thinking long and hard about your futures….goodnight!

JK: I can’t believe this amazing pay per view is ending like this…

DF: It’s a sham, they can’t do this……

JK: This is all down to FEAR….they have rotted the foundations of this company and I hate each and everyone of them……EWF is sinking and I don’t know if anyone can save us now….thankyou for joining us folks…we hope you have enjoyed it as much as we have…….goodnight!

*The shows goes off the air with Mr Riley leaving the stage as Daniel Magnusson looks across the EWF/FEAR divide around the ring and Vincent Costello continues to cradle the championship in the middle.

Official result: Vincent Costello via pinfall
Match time: 24 minutes 04 seconds
