Kurt Gidley has been ruled out with a foot injury, with a replacement to be named on Tuesday. Both Josh Reynolds and John Sutton have been called up and Laurie Daley will make his decision which one will play this week.

I'm gutted the Blue's lost.

Im a bit slow this morning after a big night out, last night the bars and streets of Auckland were full of blue and maroon jerseys, rugby league was the only sport on the agenda, we love it and it truely is the most contested sporting event in Australasia.

Yes we won, but throuhout the entire 80 minutes that game could have gone either way.

At the game - great atmosphere in the build up but NSW will never win against those wise old maroon heads. Too many crucial errors / brain explosions again. Fell into the same traps again. Our players are not 'great' in the old-fashioned sense of the word... maybe one or two potentially. Qld have about 8 greats still showing us how it's done.

So 8 in a row. I just wish they would talk more about the 'overall history' since 1888 where it's something like 211-108 to NSW. Some consolation, eh?  

Or even that period in the 70s when NSW were strong, you know when Artie Beatson played for them.
