Barnstorming Crusaders' centre Robbie Fruean is to have heart surgery to repair damage done by his childhood bout of rheumatic fever. Fruean had similar surgery in 2009 and recovered to push for an All Blacks berth in 2011, so here's hoping he can manage it again.
