Foreign Transfers

First topic message reminder :

As a general rule, if you want a world class player (and by world class I mean a player that I consider to be one of the 3 best in the world in his position at the moment), you will be looking at between £20-25 million.

For a top international with over 30 caps, £17-22 million, and an international with less than 30 caps £15-20 million. There may be some exceptions to this in the case of certain players, but this will be the general rule.

There will be an upper limit of £10 million for uncapped academy aged players unless two or more managers want the player and enter into a bidding war in which case there is no upper limit.

Bids for uncapped players who are over academy age limits will be judged on their own individual merits.

Guys can we just clarify a rule that I am unsure on - once you make a bid in this for a foreign, does it mean you can't withdraw it - I remember last year that there was a bit of fuss around this area, as some saw it as people trying to push up the price for other players.

Just want to check on the rules, as if so will be withdrawing a bid I have in the domestics!

You can't take out a bid and rebid if that's what you mean. If somebody withdraws a bid it goes to the next highest bidder.

And Prop you now get a foreign transfer bid - if I were you I'd go for Scott Higginbottom, the Aussie and probably the best no6 still available in the game, would link well with McCalman too. Reckon you could get him for around £19-21m too.
