wheres the second film

i love sci fi films and thinking back when i watched serenity i always wanted them to make a sequal because that film was awesome . i know it was a series called firefly but its not as good as the film . my question is what film u watched that they never got around making a sequal .

Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant.

I think you are part of a very very select group of people if you think Serenity wasn't as good as Firefly. You are possibly the first person I have ever heard to utter that opinion!

For me, even though the film fell flat, I would have liked to have seen The Golden Compass followed by the Subtle Knife

no i said the film was better then firefly but i only watched one or two . i liked the golden compass . never read the books so i might look out for the subtle knife now

Ive seen there is a War Of The Worlds 2 as well, where the Martians attack again, so planet Earth retaliates by attacking Mars. Sounds like another must see sequel!!!

Always wondered why they never did a sequel to The Commitments ?

There are tons of films left open for sequels but they never got round to it.

one example would be the masterpiece Super Mario Brothers,  its a film i enjoy but can easily see why it gets panned

He-Man. After the credits you find out Skeletor is still alive but no sequel???

same with flash Gordon when MING picks his ring up and laughs . OR WAS IT HIM

im a fan of the books and while i thought the film version was pretty average, i knew they would struggle to go into the later books because of the anti church sections, would never have gone down well in america

while along the book theme i enjoyed Christopher paolini inheritance cycle, the first being aragon which the film was truly woeful and changed a lot from the books, for instance key characters that go throughout all the books being killed off in the first film. still feel there is some material for some great films there, just need to change the cringey script, the terrible acting from lead character, and stop changing the story around. simples
