Angles we still talk about

Hi, long time viewer, first time poster.

Just been re-watching No Mercy 2000: Austin vs Rikishi and it got me thinking, most posts on here end up with someone saying 'they did it for the Rock.' That angle was over 13 years ago and we're still talking about it.

What other angles are we still referencing more than a decade afterwards?

The barbershop window is one that is referenced quite regularly - that's 20ish years ago.

The Invasion Storyline. This will always be remembered, whether people enjoyed it or thought it was underwhelming. There will always be the "What if..." topic regarding the storyline.

Kurt is probably the main Angle who is still talked about though...

Triple H/Orton angle from a few years back where Orton was attacking the McMahon family.

Also always rememeber Triple H revealing to HBK it was him who attacked him in the parking lot.

Ill never forget the Vince is dead storyline. As i have no idea where it was heading, but it got shut down when Beniot actually died.

I read a decent article the other day, a retrospective look at CM Punk's Pipebomb promo and how badly yhe story was handled after Money in the Bank and the title win.

One that should stick better in the memory than it does imo is Austin and HHH back in 2000. The returning top guy to get revenge on the heel who put him on the shelf (or at least masterminded it) then went on to dominate the title scene in his absence.

I thought it complimented The Games character perfectly, the cerebral assasin. Match wise, i have to admit i didn't see the first at No Mercy 2000 but remember the 3 stages of hell at No Way Out being a cracker.

Maybe Rikishi being chucked in as the driver sucked the life out of the fued before it started?

Shame though that possibly the last big name feud of the attitude era(?) isn't remembered as well as it could have been given the guys involved
