What bat does everyone use?

Just wondered what the preferred bat of people on here is. I've always loved Newberys, and have used them for 5 years until I bought the Thruxton which put me off their new designs.

Picked up a Warsop this year which is a great bat, lovely middle that just pings, today a lad in work has had to give up so has sold me his GM Epic Original LE for £120 which was a bargin!

All ways loved using Kookaburra Kahuna's, until their prices went through the roof

Currently got a Newbery which goes like a dream.

I have many bats... Spent the winter season using the Adidas Pellara (one for practise one for matches) averaged about 110 with it.

A mate of mine owns a sport store and is importing a bat brand called Ares, offered me a 75% discount for two if I get called up for Eastern Gauteng amateurs this year, long as I have his store advertised on the bat.

Don't care about the maker, just that it has to be covered with a silicon tape!!.

I had a friend who had a Kahuna... Massive lad he was, we called him "Thor" because he was the only one who could bat with that thing. It was incredibly heavy for a cricket bat

One with a big edge

Gray Nics Lazer. Good few years old now but I don't hit the ball enough to a) wear it out or b) warrant getting a new one.

My first bat was a St Peters - not sure if they make them any more.
When that died I used Gunn & Moore for a bit, until I was given a Duncan Fearnley (before Graham Hick came onto the season) and stayed with those for the rest of my active playing.
Only played occasional friendly matches since I left unoversity and use whatever is available.

Use a Gray Nicolls Oblivion atm, 2'10 ish, plenty of meat on the bat for when I want to have a go, but also very nice for when playing defensive/moderate innings.

They go too quickly from what i've seen, good few people at my club have used them and they run through them quickly. Good while it lasts though.
