I have a family 40th to attend tonight then back in work tomorrow and Widnes Vikings final home game on Sunday. Then I officially enter the last week of my 20's

absolutely devastated

I have a day off and I'm ill which is typical because tomorrow I start another long run of shifts. Saturday and Sunday are both 12 hour shifts, Monday will be a short morning shift followed by two more 12 hour shifts on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Apart from that I'm going to work on promos for JJ's tournament and for Edward Plague.

A question for people writing matches, do you make it up as you go or do you organise it first and then fill it out?

Me personally, its a little of both. Some spots I come up with before writing and fit them in as I write off the cusp.

I just go with the flow

I tend to get ideas as I go along

I have to say I think I've got the bug, my matches won't be main event calibre for a while but I'm enjoying the ride at the moment...I assume all the matches have been handed out for the show so far?

Yeah but don't worry based on the two so far you've definitely got a job for me - Anything that means I don't have to write matches

glad to hear it, it's surprisingly fun and as long as I can picture the superstars then I can picture the match in my head and it almost writes itself. Hopefully people enjoy the matches I write.

Just wait till we move you onto tag and multi-man matches

Paul is being a tease about segments, I may or may not get some, the best ones are being hidden so not to spoil things too. I bet he used to play all the boys off against each other when he did his 11+ and O Levels.

Not sure how many of the matches will play out, which is a credit to the writing and quality of promos being cut. I think an Authority man will win the TV Title (possibly a face turning heel).

Out of the world titles I can see Viper winning, which I guess means Nate Nack would probably drop the belt.

At Ground Zero you could have one of the rebels retain their title and an Authority member win the other one leading to a unification match down the line.

In terms of the Authority it is an interesting dynamic as looking at sheer weight of numbers they are in the minority yet they have absolute power behind the scenes.

Now the battle in the ring starts and the strength of the 'rebellion' as you call it will very much depend on whether or not the gold stays out of the hands of The Authority. You would have to say that if they get a clean sweep at Ground Zero then it is game over and 6CW will just be there play thing

I agree Viper, that is why I think with you retaining (imo) then Nate will have to drop the belt to Orthus or Plague. Of course if my opinion counts, then I should win the EWF title and face Nate for unification!

I'm interested to see how many of the masked men (if any) are current or new roster members, or if they will remain masked and disappear whenever they are no longer needed.

I have a feeling the unification match will be at Night Of Glory as it's the big show of the year and this would be a big event so I can't predict who will hold the titles but I like the idea of it being Authority vs Rebel Scum haha

I really enjoy the fact that the two main Authority guys on the EWF Title side are guys that Viper has history with and two guys on a personal level I find it fun to promo with/against, makes the promos a bit more exciting in my opinion.

We will definitely use the masks to our advantage E

Also at the moment the split is still visible with former EWF guys going for the EWF belt etc etc - Unification may only be possible when we see that switch a little - Just an idea

I've tried to leave my backstage promo a little ambiguous in that it's not clear whether Mr Jones is sincere about Enforcer or stringing him along. It helps that I haven't got a clue either!!

I liked your last promo E, it's good to sometimes show a tiny bit of weakness or that someone has got under your skin as it gives your guy so much more depth than just having him being superman.

Would a John Cena type 'superman' character work in an efed? - In my mind efed characters need to be fallible. Yes you will have periods of success if you are at the top but the stories come from failure and being hard done by

We have barely scratched the surface with The Authority so far and I am pleased it has struck a chord with people. Both 6CW and EWF went through a considerable period where the main battle was a power struggle in the board room, now we have come to a period of stability in terms of the ownership but perhaps less stability in the ring.

Cheers Viper, I think showing a little weakness is important as otherwise it is promo after promo of people saying how awesome they are.

A Cena character couldn't work because he gives nothing to his opponents to work with. It doesn't work in real life for that very reason - but the problem would be magnified in an efed.

I've desperately been trying to put a promo together for Phillips but have zero ideas for it. Its so much easier when you're heavily involved in a rivalry and you can get the back and forths going.

I need to promo as Edward Plague but I have no ideas either...might leave it and give some time for other people to promo haha
