I was thinking more around young talent for young talent. Shields looks a prospect but unproven

I was thinking an academy player or squad player for him.

I'm presuming you are talking about McCabe, Davies or Tomkins? By your comments you see them as better than TNW, which means it would need to be as part of a bigger deal where I gain elsewhere. Perhaps something along the lines of...

There's absolutely no chance I can get Hamilton in that deal mate, as I'd be losing out on both ends. Am keen to do something around TNW and Davies, but no interest in any of the players you listed as they don't improve me.

You'd be getting the improvement at 13, so I need one elsewhere. what about...

Not liking that overly, as I still think Wallace will come through and be top class so don't want to sell him.

Clearly we are going to struggle as I want a decent gain on the other part of the deal if I am losing Davies who is one of the most highly rated players in his position in the game, and you're not keen on letting anyone good go.

Guess we'll have to leave it.
