So true!!! Cocktail is one of my favourite 80's films, when I first watched it at about 15 I wanted to be tom cruise lol! So much so I got a bar job when I was at uni however it was less standing on a bar reciting poety and doing shots with hot girls and more like serving ignorant, drunk idiots! Needless to say I realised films had lied to me!

What do you make of the new series?

I felt that its been pretty poor and by the numbers so far.

Yeah I'm not overly keen but as a massive fan of the show I'm committed to seeing it out. Don't really like the fact the whole season has been spread over the course of one weekend, surely there's only so many dynamics of a wedding than can cover off. Would have enjoyed a lot more if they had only done a 8 or 9 episode season a pose to the 15 or so this will end up being.

Watched a load of classic eps online the other day and this is such a great lol show. The 'swarly' episode being one of my favourites.

I loved HIMYM but haven't been able to bring myself to watch the final season at all, the show has run too long and now relies on retelling jokes that have lost the reason they were funny...the problem is the show seemed to loose what it was going for to get more seasons and focused too much on Barney...I love Barney as a character but it got boring.

For me shows like Happy Endings (which was sadly canceled) and Community are far better options for comedy...I'd also say Archer although that is a different type of comedy.

Other shows I'd recommend are Bob's Burgers and The League.

Arrested development is also a brilliant US comedy

Agree with both of you. I found that the comedy has got too surreal and is really dragging jokes. ALthough Barney is great, he is the main focus which is not how he used to be.

The series I have just got into was Modern Family - absolutely awesome!

I need, dare I say it, more context for Percy Percival.

Need to try and find time to promo this week too, finding it hard to do anything that fits in with the current story for E, without making him look face.

Dolph, what more context do you need? He's one of the most rounded characters in the fed...well compared to any of yours anyway.

Just cos there are clear similarities between yourself and Percy doesnt make either of you rounded.

More importantly, there isn't a character sheet and I have no knowledge of e-feds from before the start of EWF here or any outside on dirty other sites.

I was going to help you with your promo as I am obviously involved with Enforcer currently and I'm writing a Enforcer segments this week, but instead   

Didn't realise there wasn't a character sheet - but pretty much he's gay, talks about sex and wrestles. He usually has a gimmick ripped off from whatever WWE are currently doing (i.e. The Sexus). Sure Marky will have a moveset somewhere!

There's no need to be like that, I said your characters as I knew you'd know I was joking. It didn't seem fair on Viper to single out someone who really had one dimensional characters.

If you're struggling Chris PM Marky and he'll help you I'm sure but basic rule of thumb will be loads of gay double entendres, have a look through his last couple of promos and that should tell you all you need to know

E - If you wanna bounce around a few ideas feel free to PM me but I think maybe you could address that very issue in a promo

Little dirt sheet/wrestletalk style promo up for Wood and his absence...luckily Joel Ross is nowhere near it! Added in a few little 6CW/EWF references but nothing subtle at all so you won't have to look too hard to find them haha.

Great promo Viper - Really added a different slant to the story

I was really inspired by the whole Punk thing and how no matter what is going on everyone will have a "source" and an insight to what is going on even if they're nothing to do with it.

Talking about Punk I hear he could be back tonight, is that worth staying up for and watching or should I just boycott WWE as I know Mania won't be as good as I hoped it would.

Will promo asap, been signed off from work due to depression and stress so have taken a break. Back to my old self now

I have no idea Viper- I don't actually know anything about wrestling

It's William Regal, his real name is Darren Matthews and he for me is one of the guys who should have held a World/WWE title.

I'm quite proud of all the little things like that I've been able to incorporate in to Wood's character.

The weird thing is as a kid I loved watching Regal wrestle but hated him as a character, as I've gotten older I've realised it's because he sold his character perfectly.
