Egon from Ghostbusters. Co-writer and director of Groundhog Day. Writer and director of Caddyshack and many others, dies aged 69.
I remember going to see Ghostbusters one afternoon after the pub, aged about 18, and coming out of the cinema quoting lines from the film and laughing like a 10 year old. RIP Harold.

RIP

Caddyshack and Groundhog day were great comedies but Ghostbusters, a film I must have seen 100 times, was his most famous work.

Think the chances of Dan Ackroyd fitting into the suit is more likely to be a stumbling block

It would have been a problem for Ramis these days as well. The stories I'd heard about Ghostbusters 3 were worryingly bad, rumours were that the original team had retired and that Michele Rodriguez was leading the new team of women ghostbusters picard
