You're hardly losing out on money when you didn't know you had it.
When you thought the bonus was £10m you were happy to give all your bonus leaving you with £0 bonus.
Therefore now you'd still be £3m up on what you thought you had!

It's the principle of the thing for me now. You're getting a good deal, you know you're getting a good deal too so don't cut off your nose to spite your face over the loose pennies.

It's pennies to you because you'd have either 3 or 6m what gaining +2 first teamers. I'll though be down a net 2 first teamers and therefore need every penny to bring in replacements.

As usual though you're weazeling your way out of doing a deal.
