First topic message reminder :

Where does the time go? It seems like it was only yesterday that it was Wimbledon day 2.

Will Murray get Blazed by the heavy Rola?

I can't remember the last time I saw such an insipid performance get the win.

Very flat from Novak. Played like his poodle had died.

Yes, Stepi deserved a fifth set, especially as he came from 2:5 down to 5:5 in TB.

How come nobody spoke about Gilles Muller vs Federer? Muller is a very dangerous fast court player, doesn't have the capacity to win a tournament but Like Rosol can easily beat any given opponent on his day on fast surface.

Rosol vs Nadal the first match, and RoFe takes on Muller, a potential upset possible on both sides.

Rosol v Nadal is probably overblown, IMVHO.

Federer does need the work out against a player like Muller, who has 12/20 W/L on Grass.

I read from a tweet that 2012 is identical for Rafa

1]AO finals lost
2]Some clay masters lost
3]FO finals win over Djoko in 4 sets
4]4 Titles
5]42 match wins
6]2nd round clash vs Rosol in Wimbledon.

reference - 2012/2014 identical for Rafa. Aus open final; RG win over djok in 4; 4 titles; 42 match wins; faces Rosol 2nd rd

Didn't Federer had a workout against a player 0-13 in GS in the first round  Very Happy

Ain't Federer lose to a guy in the 2nd round last year who currently holds 116-133 Win/loss record.  Very Happy

I agree.

I think the Nadal haters will be very disappointed come tomorrow.

Federer certainly does have his work cut out.

If I'm seeing wins being ground out by endlessly hitting the same boring, low risk patterns over and over again, I may as well follow Nadal.

Sorry but that Is not true. Nadal now also wins points while sitting down. Plus he's left handed - we'll never know the reason, but left handed athletes always look more stylish.

I agree, Laver, McEnroe, Rios and Nadal are the most entertaining of each era.

AS TMF himself admits, each match starts at 0-0. No matches at this level are easy.

Come on Tsonga!

a great moment there at 8-8 when the umpire called that play was suspended only for the players to decide that actually they wanted to carry on. Very Happy

Didn't last though: two games later and play was indeed suspended. Tsonga not helping his cause with these long matches.
