Eagles are overhyped. Lots of people seem to be overestimating them this year. They're not so good that they'll walk this division or win it with room to spare. One of the other 3 teams will emerge to run them close or even pip them to it.

Unfortunately it won't be the Giants

I reckon by seasons end it will be:

Eagles 10-6
Skins 8-8
Giants 8-8
Cowboys 4-12

Garrett is probably looking for a new job by week 8. Coughlin hangs up his playbook after the season. Gruden gets a pat on the back for doing better than Shanny. Then told it's 10-6 min. next year. And the Eagles go out in the 1st round of the playoffs.

Giants will get better and can see them winning, but to be honest all four look dreadful.

Will they?

You can clean up scheme, you can't clean up bad play. Biggest worry would be attitude, they didn't look like a team embarking on a fresh new season.

They'll come good, bit unfair to judge them after one game and against the Lions who are a good team, which lets face it is something the NFC East doesn't have at the moment!

Good but flawed team, and lets face it, we're also judging the issues of last year, which featured poor OL play, ineffective run game and Eli making bad decisions under duress.

Personally I'm more worried about the Cowboys.

D looked good when they woke up but tired as they were constantly put on a short field. Wait for the OL to get fully fit and it should be better.

Lost count of the times the OL has been a makeshift group. We had a rookie centre at left guard last night.

We won the Super Bowl no running game. We'll be fine once the injuries are patched up.

I think your being very optimistic, the Giants will do well to break even this year the O line was dreadful, 2 sacks and no running game. The passing game was anaemic, 2 Int and Eli looking very unhappy with Cruz no where to be seen.
As you say at times the D did get the job done.

I didn't say we are gonna be world beaters. Just think people are being too quick to put us down. I'll worry if we're 0-3. Realistically we could be 2-2 heading into the Falcons game. We should be able to handle Houston without Clowney, we can chase RF3 into errors in Washington. Beat Arizona we could be 3-1 after week 4.

That's realistic. The harder games after that.
