Superb game from La Monf to get the break. Dimitrov choked and Monfils took full advantage. The shank was the most Federer-like shot I've ever seen the Bulgarian play.

Forced errors, I'd argue.  The point to set up BP was an excellent return off a fast serve and then a very deep forehand to push Dimitrov back. And if he can't play in the wind, it's his own fault.

Given Monfils form he will be a bigger challenge for Fed than Dimitrov would be, but I agree Dimitrov - Fed would be more fun to watch.

I don't see any reason how Dimitrov would win this unless la Monf decides to spend more energy on jumping and pumping to entertain the crowd.

Allez la Monf! It's a really, really peculiar match. Neither is playing too well but it's somehow great to watch.

Dimitrov can still win this. Monfils can physically blow up sometimes.

Hope something bigger flies into the courts i.e a dump truck or something, as something very small peed off Monfils, a big thing will make him punch the umpire and get disq.
