Andy Murray suffering?
Surely knowing your a Mum is going to clump around the floor until mercifully put out of everyone's misery would be enough to put anyone off their game?

Put in on just now for 3 seconds. Saw some pantomime superman thing, decided to wait for doctor who. I can see the appeal but its not for me.

Re: Andy Murray suffering?
Mrs B insisted it was on and she'd told me Judy was bad but I didn't need Craig Revel-toaster to tell me she was awful.
I can't see how Andy can focus on the end of the season with this looming every Saturday.

Re: Andy Murray suffering?
She was terrible but actually improved a lot from the previous 2 weeks, so she might be in for a while yet.
Poor Andy went to China and played 3 weeks in a row just to avoid it, only to come home and find she's still in it. He's now frantically trying to sort out wildcards just to get out of the country for another 3 weeks. It's nothing to do with trying to qualify for the WTF....

Re: Andy Murray suffering?
Some people take to dancing and some don't and Judy falls in to the latter category. Not sure it merits a post on a tennis forum though so odd to bring it up and I have to ask why? Besides Andy did predict how poor is mother would be.
The real reason Murray is suffering is lack of consistency and low confidence. The talent is still there but crucial pieces are missing from his game at the moment.

Why?
Sense of humour. Try it, it can help pass the time.

She's got through two rounds. Nearly as good as Andy this year.

Re: Andy Murray suffering?
Yes, wish I was suffering on same conditions/wealth as Andy is.
CC, at your ripe age, why are you such a serious, uptight man?
All Scottish people I know are funny, easy going and have some serious black humor jokes.
Chill man, life's too short to care for Andy or any other TV person.

Re: Andy Murray suffering?
Murray is wealthy, but of course like all the top players he has more than earned it, soo I could never begrudge him that.
I think people sometimes take surgery very lightly nowadays. Im trying to imagine very high end physical workouts everyday of my life for what 7 or 8 hours, having previously undergone back surgery. I dont think thats to be taken lightly, its not easy by any means.

For what it's worth, I thought it was funny. I just didn't want to give BB the satisfaction of knowing I find any of his work funny ![Wink](https://2img.net/i/fa/i/smiles/icon_wink.gif)

It was just a bit of fun. To listen to Craig you'd think I'd done something worthy of being given a Community Service order!

Was my response really so cutting? I don't think so. I look forward to your next joke aimed at Roger or Mirka's expense.

Okay a little Federer joke.....
Fans of Roger Federer are upset that they are unable to wear exact replicas of Roger's bandana as they are too small but fit their idol's head. It has led to the manufacturer's investigating why the same bandanas do not fit the fans heads.
The manufacturer is working on two possible theories. 1. The overly-inflated head-size of Federer fans is the problem or 2. They have yet to figure out how to tie them up.

...or maybe Fed fans, have a smaller head, with less brain?

The joke has not specified do bandanas not fit cause of big head or small Fans head.

I saw Judy on Strictly at the weekend. She really is a very poor dancer.
I think she has become too focused on physical conditioning and has abandoned the variety of her natural dancing.

Nah she just can't dance for toffee. She has the Tango this week but one thing is sure she must be fairly popular with the public as she has been the worst dancer each week and viewers have voted to keep her in.

I hesitate to make a serious point in a thread constructed to give a gentle ribbing, but she has come across very well, which I suspect is the point.CaledonianCraig wrote:HM Murdoch wrote:I saw Judy on Strictly at the weekend. She really is a very poor dancer.

Most people only know her from fist-pumping and yelling in Andy's box, so it has been good for people to see another side to her.
I wonder if Jez Green can also function in polite society?

Re: Andy Murray suffering?
I think she just lacks confidence and self-belief. Talent-wise she has it in her to be at the top but she seems to lack the mental belief to close out a really tough dance.

Lets be fair though she is at a disadvantage as her pro is comedian Rob Brydon.
