Season 3 Bonuses

The Sponsorship offers are below. You can accept one offer for the season.

You can change your mind as to which you accept, but contracts will be signed on day 1 of the new season, so cut off for choosing is midnight on 6th January. Whichever you have selected at this point will be your sponsor. If you have not selected one, you will have no sponsor and receive no bonus.

Lump sum payments will be made on the Tuesday of the first game week and cannot be spent before this.
Points and win bonuses will be paid, and therefore can be added to your budget, at the same time as voting/tactics bonuses.

I have tried to make it so that there are no offers that are clearly not going to be accepted, but I apologise if any slipped through the net.

Based on last season's performance, Offer 2 would have yielded the most money. So we choose Offer 2 and hope we can replicate last season's form.

I have worked them out based on the last seasons.

So eg in the case of Twente, you were predicted to finish second and therefore I based your bonuses on the average points or wins that second has got over the two seasons.

I'm all for being harsh, but people will then just wait and make a call at the last minute, so it's largely a bit pointless doing it.

I think it's fairly easy as it is.

You've got 4 offers. You have until the start of the new season to pick one and you add money once the season has started.

Now in future seasons, you could get one offer at once and you have to choose whether to accept or wait for the next one, with a new offer coming every few days.

I thought I could add the money after picking.

I have now de-picked and removed it from my budget. My previous bluster about not changing my mind no longer stands.

Haha it's not that and I understand why you are holding off paying, because you think no deals will be done at the end.

But I think we have reached the point where some sponsorship money coming in will keep deals ticking over. Those that accept right away, and those canny ones that wait a bit longer.

It's just from previous experience and trying to ensure an injection of life into the league in season 3 rather than 4 weeks before it starts.

It also means less of a skew towards taking the lump sum rather than the win/points bonus options

But I'm quite happy to change to straight away if that is the general consensus. It may be that the league exceeds the longevity of previous and doesn't need any kind of boost
