WWA Season 8 Homepage

Evening Gents,

Both Fernando & I have been working hard behind the scenes to try and get Season 8 ready without the absence of Tooze. Since dropping out half-way through last season, we have not seen / heard anything from Tooze so just thought we would let you all now.

Now moving onto business, before we find our eighth and final members here's a couple of questions that we want to through out there to get some discussion going.

Q. - Any suggestions to improve on the league that you wish WWA to consider
Q. - Who do you want in your assigned roster
Q. - Who do you usually seem to get in your assigned roster from previous seasons

Q1. Ideas I've had.
1. Doctor Card - Basically once during the season you are able to use a wrestler who is drawn as injured BUT if he/she is picked for a second week in a row on the injury list you lose them until the next PPV...it would help out guys who's storylines are messed up because of injuries BUT could lead to even bigger problems if used.

2. Feedback bonuses...In season 5 I think it was we had the enticement of £5m for every time we gave feedback and voted on time, I thought this was good because it meant that most people got a lot of feedback for their shows. Make sure that "good show" doesn't count but that valid and useful feedback (even if it's short) is rewarded.

3. Lateness tax - This will probably make me look harsh BUT when people are late it throws the next shows off and means it cannot run smoothly which in the past has lead to whole seasons being ruined...If people are late maybe next week they get 2 injuries instead of 1 or could be fined £5m/£10m. Obviously real life gets in the way and that should be taken in to consideration but people should try to get stuff up on time even if it's a quick results show.

Q2. I am not going to even mention this because it just makes it harder for you to get them...I think we can guess a few names I'd like but until we have our rosters and trading begins I'll be keeping quiet haha.

Q3. In the three seasons I've done (from memory) I've had Chris Hero, Sami Zayn and Zack Ryder twice...I think. Drake Younger has also been in every season...maybe I'll use him as a ref now?

nXtreme are proud to announce that they have managed to get the funds together to return to having their own show. Following the destruction of nXtreme at the hands of the unloved army the Brighton based federation has been nomadic even invading ngpw to attempt to find a new home.

I suggested this last season saying we should get one priority pick that would automatically be ours as long as we were the only person who picked them. I imagine the only issue would be that Enigma and Nando would be able to see who people were asking for. I like the idea but I can see the issues it would have as well.

I'm happy to go along with whatever.

The reason we don't do a draft is because 1) it muddles all the pots up and have to keep track of everything plus there is fewer pots this season because most get released anyway and 2) is that if we give people what they want then it's no fun and no deals will ever happen. It's not just writing it's a trading game too..

Id be happy to give more injuries was gunna discuss this with Enigma funnily enough

Because of your dicking about last time you aren't allowed your own roster because we're trying to keep it going without having to find replacements but if you wish to take part you may team with me provided you actually do anything on time

Doesn't matter of it's been suggested before, Fernando & I will monitor all feedback and discuss to see where we can improve the league. Once we have covered all items, we will come back with a new set of re-written rules.

Funnily enough, to answer my own question I always seem to be lumbered with and / or Kane and Alberto Del Rio.

Marky, invitation is there if you want to fill the last remaining spot this season. Could always team with somebody if you think timing could be an issue...

Timing is always an issue. But I want a public apology from Nando before I consider it

Spoken with Marky now. Nick if you want it, the last remaining spot is yours.

I wanted it. But I didn't want to be responsible for Nickageddon not happening.

(But seriously, I'm too pushed for time to include WWA to my extra curricular activities, however when Nick fûcks up in February I may be available to take over )

Marky why not do a joint season with Nick again? Let him do everything this time though...it could be a complete role reversal of last season

Also I have an idea...not aimed at anyone as I have dropped out in past seasons BUT if someone drops out this is what I think should happen. We try to replace the person that week BUT if we can't then all results against that person become null and void and no matter what the score the points are changed to a win for their previous opponents. All future fixtures where that person would have taken part in become 'rest' weeks...the person will automatically get the win as long as they upload a show. They have a choice to not put up a show but if they take this option then they don't receive points.

This way the final result isn't ruined by some people getting 'free wins' and others having to face someone. It also means we aren't running around for ages trying to find a replacement.

I hope we get priority picks this season haha
