Four jubblies debuted last night, The Ascension and Brie Bella seems to have bought a new pair, or it was just a really good push up bra.

I thought it was a very middle of the road show. Had some really good stuff balanced out with some guff. The Rollins segment at the end was excellent. Maybe its a bit early, but they were beating a dead horse with him always complaining about it. And like it or not, there needs to be an Authority figure. They dont need to on screen appearances that The Authority get, but its more believable that theres a presence when booking matches and stories that you dont get without it.

Fantastic news that Bryan is fit again. And he pulled a Triple H. Its a good idea, it builds up excitement for the Rumble match to see him return. I'd rather this than him just re-appear.

Bad News Barrett is back! Good times. Cesaro has lost everything at this point. I cant believe how badly they dropped the ball.

Still dont know what anyone saw in Christian. He was in Edge's shadow all night.

I thought it was a very good Raw. I think the thing not mentioned was that they gave a chance for people to talk tonight. Ryback got a promo, Cesaro got one, there were stories in and around a lot of the matches and theres some good build going on.

Good decision for the Usos to go over because the Ascension need to feud with babyfaces.

Thought Ziggler/Rusev was a cracking match and that Reigns wrestled brilliantly against Rollins. Two good DQs that actually worked for me, Big Show also enigmatic to some extent on commentary and then did the DQ quick and brutally.

Bryan was brilliant. I loved it. And for him to be at the Rumble is great. I hope he doesnt appear until the Rumble again cos the pop will be huge. Id have preferred a surprise if im honest, but this is great news. He has to be the joint favourite. Bryan to comeback and beat Lesnar would be great. Equally, think he could have a brilliant feud with a few people.

Great to see BNB back. Worried about where he fits now though.

The Authority...Survivor Series couldnt be the end. WrestleMania will be. Sting vs HHH is nailed on now, and this needed to happen for it to be true. I'm not happy they're back, things have carried on regardless and showed you dont need that figure, but this story needs to be ended properly. And it was actually done in a way where it didnt matter who came out cos he could have injured Edge at any point.

An episode of really big news that I enjoyed a lot

Pretty much agree with what DZ said.Thought Ryback promo, whilst not brilliant added depth to his character, and he's now more than just a catchphrase. Perhaps I read too much on the internet, but it did feel a little like a shot at Punk.

I thought Miz was brilliant last night, he plays his role perfectly. The little look he gave the camera after Naomi spoke to him showed he knew his mind games hadn't worked. He's been every bit as entertaining as Mizdow in my eyes.

Barrett must surely go after Ziggler, seeing as he never lost the IC title in the ring.

I've got mixed feelings about the authority coming back. I think the heel authority figures been played out in wrestling. On the other hand, only Paul Heyman is better at getting a hot reaction on the mic than Stephanie McMahon.

Rollins is an exceptional heel. If they play their cards right, Rollins vs Bryan should be the marquee feud post WrestleMania

Yeah thought it was a good Raw. The news of Bryan's return is great, think I'd have preferred it if he'd have just turned up on the night(like the year when Cena won it) but understand that everything seems to leak out now so might as well announce it. Think he'll probably win the Rumble and go on to face Lesnar, probably win, but maybe a Rollins cash in straight after?

As an aside, Rollins is fantastic, and the match with Reigns(and ending) is a nice little teaser for a feud that is bound to happen at some point. Think Reigns is improving all the time, though I hope this feud with Big Show isn't going to go on past the Rumble.

Ziggler/Rusev was a really good match, with a good, sensible ending. Think Rusev/Ryback is a potentially good feud, the matches won't be technical masterclasses by any stretch but they should be entertaining. Ziggler and Barrett would make sense as a feud, although possibly a bit of a step-down from what Ziggler has been doing lately.

Cesaro's promo was good, and despite the loss, hints at a change that I think is needed. He's one of the best workers, and while at some point charisma and ability on the mic will come into play, I think he can go for a while with a Kurt Angle/CM Punk route of simply being a better wrestler than whoever he's facing.

Nice to see the Uso's get the win, deserve to end the year on a high note considering the matches they've put on this year. Have to say, I think The Miz is great. Plays his role perfectly, whether that's because he's simply being himself is another matter! Not sure what to make of The Ascension, but a feud with the Uso's will no doub bring the best out of them.

The return of The Authority isn't something I really wanted to see just yet, but I suppose they needed to come in for the Road to Wrestlemania. Looks like HHH vs Sting is nailed on for 'Mania, presumably for control of the company.

Overall, I think the things are shaping up pretty nicely going into Mania season, if booked correctly of course(and that's a big if). Roster is looking a lot stronger again, with Bryan back and I guess Orton will be back soon as well. Hopefully Ambrose and Wyatt's feud is done with after next week so they can move onto something else.

I really enjoyed that Ryback promo. I'm suprised that he mentioned his time in The Nexus as Skip Sheffield, didn't expect that. What I noticed was that he was getting heckled at the start with "what" chants by the smart tw@ts, but by the end, they died down considerably. I personally hope he is the man to finally pin Rusev but I doubt it.

Very annoyed with the return of the Authority and manner of it. Seriously the members of Team Cena didn't think to come out and assist despite their efforts to put them out of power to begin with? It's crap storytelling like that which annoys the hell out of me. At least have a screwy match with them returning as a stipulation. Least that would make an ounce of sense.

Though, Rollins is brilliant. Love his mic work and does look like one for the future. You just can't help but want him to get his dues. Hurry up Orton! Wish he had some decent intro music though. Same with Ambrose. Just give them a little ummppphhh.

Good to see Ryback and Cesaro with some mic time. I still find Ryback monotonous. Cesaro I hope can get some momentum going. The Andre Memorial seems a long time ago now and how the mighty have fallen.

Can't wait to see Bryan at the Royal Rumble. Hopefully if he is fit and firing, he can win the damn thing. Reigns isn't ready yet IMO for that WM Main Event berth.

I like the way that Cesaro is going. Seeming to take it back to basics - no music, no intro, all black and just wrestle. Like he has had to do this to build himself back up.

Was really disappointed with the Ascensions debut. Had been watching NXT for the last few weeks and really enjoyed watching them but the crowd were just so dead for them on RAW and it looked to really throw them off. Timing looked off and even at the end you saw them shouting "Come on" into the crowd. Think it would have been better having them just turn up as an "unknown quantity" (because apparently NXT has no link at all to WWE and the main roster) rather than give them little vignettes over a couple of weeks.

Man I cant believe how badly they botched the Ascension. The crowd were dead and what good does it do going over two guys who already wrestled that night? Fair enough they are former Tag champions but it didnt do them any favours. I'd've had them crush the Matadores or Slater Gator. A small team, just getting absolutely crushed.

Problem is the tag division has dropped in quality so much in 6 months its scary. The talent is there, it just isnt gettting used right.

Not watched RAW but can totally understand why they've announced Bryan for the Rumble, this will create a good buzz now for thePPV and if they held him off as a surprise on the night and his music hit then the feel good factor and pop he would get would turn to sheer negativity if he didn't then go onto win it, now we can get used to him being back and we can weigh up the oros and cons of him winning/not winning the Rumble

I think they announced it early for the uk fans, with the PPV price rises a massive 5er.

Really? £20 for the Rumble makes $9.99 per month look very reasonable.

Finally watched it, can't believe Rollins said 'im gonna kill him anyway' at the end, that was so dark. He is a lot better than i thought he was now he's had a long run on his own

yeah was watching that with the gf and she even found it really dark and bleak. i think it was pretty cool though, dont know why but i like the idea of someone being completely protected to the point of attempting anything. it just means one day there'll be ana wesome comeuppance.

With Bryan coming back it would make storyline sense for Kane to turn on the authority at some point

Yeah I was thinking Kane turning on the Authorty. Big Show is a heel so he can be Rollins protector.

With The Authority back, Kane becomes the Director of Operations again. What sense does it make to turn him?

Because he was Bryan's former tag partner and reforming Team Hell No would actually give the authority a viable opponent numbers wise. Plus i imagine even the part time crowds would react. Why do we need both Hunter as COO and Kane as a director?

Yeah I'm sure the fans would accept Daniel Bryan reforming Team Hell No with Kane. They could win the Tag Team titles at Wrestlemania in a moment that would 100% eclipse that that we witnessed at WM30...
