Never felt 'regular' was befitting of a massive international superstar anyway. Suggest he dumps the belt.

Could be the final nail. No belts and without the ability to bring the PPV numbers in the States it looks all over if it hadn't anyway.

I thought and said it at the time that dumping the IBF belt was a marketing mistake if he wanted a big Vegas fight. Maybe he decided to retire months a go.

Still he deserves a testimonial in Nottingham that he cruised through to bring the curtain down.

I'd back Ward to beat Froch tomorrow TBH. Froch is too slow to challenge Ward.

I read about Ward's requesting a tune up fight in April, but HBO aren't interested in him fighting a bum(in Oakland) for a 7 figure pay check.

Did not expect this. Surely after vacating one ticle the self styled warrior couldnt vacate another? It would be humiliating for Froch to run from this.

might start regretting turning the Degale fight down now.. to be fair I think its a bit harsh, he deserves a voluntary..

I think Froch will ride off into the sunset. He knows he can't beat Ward in the US (or anywhere else for that matter!!) so may well call it quits as he doesn't have much left to prove. I think we've seen the last of him in the ring.

or he may think Ward and his inactivity may lead him to think why not, worse case he will lose again to the same fighter..
