90s football black player quota?

The Football Association tried to impose an unofficial quota system on the number of black players an England manager should be allowed to use, according to a new book about racism within the sport.

Interesting, he hasnt denied it, all hes saying is he has no memory. Which he also says in the Guardian piece, but says that isnt to say it didnt happen

Well he has. Says he never had any problems;

He added: "I never had any problem in regards to team selection concerning black players from the FA.

He cant say it. He'd get killed with lawsuits.

I hear Taylor played fifteen 'black' players during his tenure, giving twelve their debut.

What was the limit exactly?

Taylor picked some right garbage, including Palmer, Barrett, Fashanu. I'll take this with a pinch of salt.

Can't blame Taylor for Fash the Bash. I'm sure he only got capped under Robson.

Its very understandable and easy to follow logic. Im not saying it means definitely, but you really expect him to come out with it with no proof?
