Bacca is better than them hero. His link up play is brilliant, he can pass the ball, good dribbler, pretty strong, can finish,  good at headers, deadly in the 6 yard box

That's pretty much my assessment of Bacca too.

Soldado had the team built around him at Valencia, whilst Negredo was a very good striker, but has always lacked that extra bit of pace to take him to the next level. Although that didn't stop him scoring goals at Citeh.

Bids from today roll over to end at 9am on Monday, so you needed to have signed them in yesterdays window to be able to play them this week.

The window might extend, but the squad cut off will be close of today, which is the key factor to your question.

If others can have their bids restarted that means I can play Mata this gameweek

The idea of the cut off being today is that it lets people do tactics over the weekend, knowing what the opposition squad is. You'd have to shift tactics submissions to Tuesday as well.

As no-one else went for a bid for him after you my view on it would just add the 100k or whatever it was and then sign him but I will let Nando confirm because I'm not the boss.

That's what you get for being spiteful.

You've got to make sure you've got the funds for Mata and Callejon or you'll have to fund the money by selling players off.

I was going to say that the simplest thing was for us to just keep Callejon and for you to have Mata from yesterday's bid.

We wanted Mata which is why we bid for him first.

But if you want us to have to sign both, then we will. We have the funds and a lawyers to be able to sign both, so it's not a big deal for us.

Your call this time:

1) take Mata and pay 26.1m; or
2) we sign Mata.

Going by the rules you won the Mata bid fair and square I'll offer you what you paid for him.

We're more than happy to have both tbh. We didn't want to pay more than £25m for Mata, which is why we pulled out.

We will take that as you deciding that we should buy him, so we will.

It was always in our plans to sign two AMs, we just had max limits on each player.

That's nothing new for me, I've always held back from paying too much, in every league we've ever done.

We were trying to be fair to you as you did outbid us and it was a technicality on the price that in the first window, I'd have pointed out to you. This window I've had less time and I'm not on top of the TPs.

It's up to you to not believe that, but that is our genuine position on it. We will give you one more chance to sign him from TPs for your 26.1m bid. If not we are taking advantage and having him. It will save us trying to find an alternative, which is proving tricky as all the best ones are already in the league.

Can't see where my bid for Carvajal has gone .. but am I ok to confirm?
