Evening all.

There is a card on spike (freeview 31 I think) from Sheffield at 10 tonight for anyone interest.  Not sure who's on but it's boxing so I'll be watching.

Lewis taylor v grant cunningham up first. English middleweight title.

Decent 1st round. Fairly even. Cunningham red around the ribs already though.

Looking a good little scrap. Taylor starting to find his shots. Probably 1-1 so far.

Every time I think taylor is getting in to his grove and pull clear cunningham comes back with a good combo. Very tight. 2-1 taylor

Cunningham starting to look ragged. Great little fight though.

Big round for cunningham. Cut seemed to come from a good combo rather than a clash of heads.

Ref says clash of heads. Fight off. Gone to the cards. I have it taylor 3-2. Shame to end that way though.

You missed a good night, we had some cracking debates on the relative all time standing of Floyd mayweather and joe louis.

Yeh not a bad fight. Sheedy does a lot of things quite well, but both guys are wide open.

This is going to be last man standing. Turned into a bar room brawl.

Well you can't fault the effort of either guy.

You can  question the judging though.  Split decision for mansouri. Thought sheedy won that with a bit to spare... Even if that means agreeing with glen mcrory.

Yeah sheedy for me as well. Didn't look like it would go the distance early doors.
