Butterfield is a lovely little player, although whether he will ever get to where he potentially could have done before that Blunt c*** tried to end him.

What the hell is going on at Manchester United?

The rate of which the outgoings are happening at Old Trafford they are gonna end up with two strikers and three goalkeepers(if Valdes has indeed mended his bridges with van Gaal).

Unless they splash big money tomorrow they look to be having a very imbalanced squad. They need to sign Reus/Griezmann or both.

It's got nothing to do with FIFA, the Spanish FA did after all block us signing Coentrao and Real signing that other left back.

I would imagine it would entail United losing out on 29m, De Geas wages for half a season and a first team keeper since I wouldn't imagine DeGea would be pleased and Navas would stay in Madrid.

He'd go to Madrid in Jan for less money.

As I say it'll no doubt get rubber stamped by FIFA anyway.

Did see something that suggested Navas' part of the deal went through but De Gea's didnt. Ridiculous, I know, but imagine how great it would be if United just pulled a d*ck move like that.

One wouldn't happen without the other. The flip side is if United signed of DeGea and Real withdrew permission tomorrow for Navas.

Surely it'll get done - it's not in either clubs best interest for it not to be completed...Utd lose out on so much money, Madrid obviously no keeper.

I'm genuinely sad that we seem to want to keep Grabban (snake) and lard arse Hooper, yet have moved on Ricky who's done nowt but work hard and is actually our only striker to score this season.

If we loan out Elliott Bennett tomorrow I'm giving up #keepthegoodguys

Lets be honest, there's always one that gets close to the wire and Jim White shouts about it being in the balance for a while. Then we all wake up the next morning and its confirmed. I have my doubts the deadlines are that strict as long as clubs dont take the urine.

Mind you 29 million + navas would be a great deal for de gea.

Just have no idea what is going on at the club, that is 2 seasons in a row the team/system from pre season has been abandoned after 1 game - and now januzaj goes from starting every game he is fit for to going on loan.

Just madness.

All seems to be Real Madrid screwed up and not Man United. If they can keep their peace then you imagine January is possible. Although Champions League will be an issue. De Gea in the league, Valdes in the CL?

To be honest, f*** Real. If you're gonna try and pressure a club into lowering their fee by pushing it as late as possible, sometimes it gets too late.

£29m (£18m + Navas) for a player in the last year of his contract is a great deal. Whoever is responsible should resign.
