I can't do all that fancy carry on that GC does but here are the basics.

Will the Warriors play their new signings - Big Tacky, Favaro (looked awesome for Italy yesterday btw) and Peterson (did well for the US v Japan) - event in the Grosvenor Cafe tonight where Toonie presents them to supporters.  Unlikely to see Favaro and Peterson but you never know.

We are Warriors, We are Warriors

Excellent Schiz. The Dragnons have very much been the team that we cannot beat in recent seasons so let's hope that we can get the win.

Cannot see any World Cup lads featuring here unless they have specifically asked to get some game time. I would expect that they'll be rested for at least a fortnight. Big Tacky has no excuse not to get his boots on, however!

You say that, but some of them, Favaro and Peterson in particular, have not really played all that much on the build up. I doubt if either will start, but might be a bench option.

Surely we will see Big Tachy and rumours of a Dunbar return are alive. Toonie hinted cryptically that we might see a few players back after the last game. Either way, I would hope we have enough to bear Dragons at home.

I've heard he left his boots back in Australia and is on a flight back to get them.  He also set expectations that he's not 100% sure where he left them, so could take a couple of weeks to find them, then he needs to buy some new laces and give them a bit of a clean (wants to look his best), so will probably be back around Christmas, maybe the start of next year to be safe.

I'm hoping that regardless of whether Big Tacky plays this weekend or not that Townsend sticks with Bulumakau on the other wing instead of the 'experience' of Jones. Junior has played very well so far and given a steady run in the team, allowing for Seymour and Lamont returning, I think he really has the potential to make the Scotland training squad eventually.

Even better news from the season ticket holder event with Toonie, AK last night in the Grosvenor Cafe - Alex Dunbar has completed a weeks full training and will play on Friday most likely with Sam Johnson. Yahoo Big T (thats what the other players call him) will also feature. Probably not Favoro or Peterson although they were both there with Puafisi

I'd wondered what had happened to Sam Johnson after he played in the Army match and then Blake had to play in the backs last week, obviously just finding his fitness.

Should be an interesting Dragons selection, after the Leinster game two weeks ago and Lyn Jones' subsequent comments.

Can't see Dragons doing anything in this game. With the defensive lapses that happened, I can see Glasgow doing similar.

Not great, but we should also be in a better position than we are. Should've had a bonus v Zebre at home and could've done better in Connacht.

Great to hear you're 500 short of a sellout. Should see a strong home win.

Schiz, great work on the retro, minimalist thread. Well done, yesterday is so the way forward.

Ya cheeky wee scamp ye! just because I don't have your newly found IT skills.

Anyhow still seething about those corrupt WR lackeys sorting out JG and Ford's RWC. We should probably have cardboard cut outs of the Oz citing commissioner and English QC parasite on the pitch and let Big Bad Boab tackle them to death ! Think it just might be a crowd pleaser. Whistle Wonder if JG might make an appearance - that would really raise the roof. Bet it would be popular at M'field for Ford too ?

BTW its 100 short of a sell out. Will be great to see AD back after 10 months out and of course our newbies.

No ten cover on bench. 21/22 are scrum halves. A back row in the engine room will affect our scrum a bit too. We appear to be suffering a bit in the backs. Strange to see Brew back on the wing, seeing as he has been playing for Newport RFC in the premiership

Wow. Return of the King at centre. king

Peterson and Favaro benching, so the world cup boys were obviously eager to play.

Two opensides plus Ashe means we should swarm the breakdown.

Glasgow's left wing must weigh about as much as the left boot of Glasgow's right wing.

Much better looking Glasgow side, suddenly.

It's not on TV unfortunately.

The Edinburgh game is on Sky so it is strange Alba don't have it - maybe they can't afford a game every weekend and this one wasn't deemed to be appealing for some reason...

He's going to be first choice once Clegg leaves for OyoyyyyyannxxXie thingy.

What do we think will be the overlap between us having no cover at 10 at all and Russell/St Duncy of Meatball returning?

The Glasgow lock situation still looks dire, but otherwise that's a mighty good Glasgow team the Dragons will be facing. I reckon Glasgow will do the business here.

Blake and Fusaro on the flanks with Harley at lock suggests an extremely mobile pack. Hart and Clegg need to move the ball quickly.

That's a pretty decent team considering who is still away. The lock situation starts to improve considerably from here on in, Peterson played pretty well for the yanks in the WC and looks a bit of a lump and then Leone will be back in a week or two and lets face it, Cummings has not disgraced himself for such a young kid, the experience he has gained will stand him in great stead. This team looks more than good enough to see of a weak Dragons.

The Glasgow bench is pretty strong as well, Scott and Hunter aside. A few handy impact players there.

I reckon this is a 5 pointer for the Weegies.

Slightly urined off that this is not televised, although I suspect that Edinburgh-Ulster will be the best quality game.

For some reason I think that Big Tacky will either score a hat trick or will be very, very quiet. Nothing in between. Love the idea of the Fijian wing double act - a young and fresh blaster coming straight into his first professional season on one wing and a 20 stone monster new cap Wallaby on the other wing.

To be fair, Glasgow v Dragons during the world cup was never going to be seen as the most glamorous fixture when the TV scheduling was planned.

The return of Dunbar and Big T playing has certainly added to the appeal though!

I vaguely remember him dumping DTH rather illegally, or something.

I don't mind Tovey, but he'll be playing off some scrappy ball I fear.

Only 50 tickets left for this game - incredible to compare Glasgow's crowds to even a couple of years ago.

What's the new capacity of Scotstoun? 6/7k?

Think the current capacity is just over 6000, that can be increased to 10000 for the biggies

They don't come bigger than this. They should increase the capacity to 100k Whistle

Beautiful conditions for rugby - dry and cold and a fantastic red sunset to the West. Right pub time - here's to a cracking game ! Ale Ale Ale

Well done Glasgow. Getting back on track. I think Favaro will turn out a great signing. Bulumakau as well.

Hard to know what the game was really like following on Twitter, but it will go down as a bonus point win at the end of the day. Glasgow really are the ultimate 80 minute team at the moment, they are always going to come at you in the second half!

A great win and it looks like we have come out of this difficult period relatively unscathed.

Leinster away next - they are a shadow of their usual selfs so Glasgow should be smelling blood.

They should have Nakarawa back too....
