Wayne Pivac could be off to Japan
Well, with Japan on a crest of a wave at the moment and the next WC being held there, does anyone think Wayne Pivac would leave Scarlets ?
Scarlets coach Wayne Pivac targeted by Japan amid doubt over future at Welsh region
The experienced New Zealander is out of contract at the end of the season and is believed to be keeping his options open
Scarlets boss Wayne Pivac is being targeted for the job of Japan coach as a replacement for Eddie Jones.
The out-of-contract Kiwi is also being tracked by Auckland, where he has spent two previous spells at the helm.
Pivac is currently in negotiations with the Scarlets over signing a new deal, but is believed to be keeping his options open.
And the experienced New Zealander, who has installed the region as early season Pro12 pacesetters, is a man in demand.
It’s understood he is on a shortlist of potential targets drawn up by the Japanese Rugby Union to take over from Jones as national coach.

He is one of a 60 man hit list, but they are meant to be after a fair few before Pivac.

John McKee is the favourite to replace Eddie Jones. That does not sit too well with the top class journos at the Western Fail mind. The Fail prefer to run stories like "Scarlets coach Wayne Pivac targeted by Japan amid doubt over future at Welsh region" whilst he is currently in contract talks. It is general practice for them to run 'bad news' stories about teams outside of Kerdiff when the teams are riding high and full of promising news.

Words you very rarely see in a sentence, ' top class' 'journos' and 'Western Fail or WOL'

Pivac has got the Scarlets playing winning rugby, 10 wins in a row in the Pro 12 is seriously impressive form, although even the most partisan supporter can not claim they are playing well.
