Ray Leonard's top 5 ever boxers
1. Ali
2. SRR
3. Marciano
4. Joe Louis
5. Willie Pep
Marciano was the big surprise. His reasons were, such a small heavyweight that dominated a division. He was relentless and had so much power.

Was he small for his time though? Obviously not top of the range, but his last few opponents only had an inch max on him. Of his noteworthy opponents, I can only think of Louis who was noticeably larger than him

He was a bit. Think he was 180-185.
He was a stocky build, so I guess he wasn't. He was about 3 inches shorter than Louis and about 15-20 pound lighter.

2 fighters in Marciano and Louis, 1 was a plodder louis, and the other just a very strong brute in Marciano the other 3 you would expect from Leonard who's style matched theirs in some respect.

Just looked on boxrec and Pep fought 1955 rounds! Wow. Yet somehow lived to 84.
