Its been announced that Sting will be the first inductee into the Hall of Fame this year. Cant say he doesnt deserve it.

I would assume so too. Unless hes going out at Mania, but it didnt sound that way in recent interviews.

If the spinal stenosis diagnosis is true then I doubt Sting will ever wrestle again, it's the same thing that retired Austin & Edge and ultimately killed Misawa

I would rather see Motorhead inducted as a group, Phil Taylor died late last year aswell and that seems to be forgotten about because Lemmy was the front man.

True, but his induction was always going to be because of his career in WCW anyway. Who knows what would have happened if he had joined WWE 3 or 5 years earlier. I guess he felt some kind of loyalty or obligation to fight for TNA as the champion of the underdog, just like in his WCW vs NWO days.
