First topic message reminder :

Just seen on BBC website that Carl Froch is taking up acting and starring with Jason Statham in a 3 part crime drama. but it was just the last bit that made me laugh, no guesses really.

The Nottingham fighter still believes he could win another world title, but says family commitments and the prospect of 12 weeks of hard training have persuaded him to rule out a comeback.

"I think about a comeback every day, but I am realistic," he told Friday Sports Panel.

"I am 40 years old next year. It is not just the fight, it is the 12-week training camp, the intensity, the dieting, and then being away from my kids."

"But as a retired athlete I still look at the super-middleweight division and think: 'James DeGale - I can beat him. George Groves - I beat him at Wembley in front of 80,000 people.'

Joking aside I do look fondly at Froch's career, we are all fans because we like to see good battles and be entertained by our sport - Froch certainly did all of that.

I am backing the Chunkster. I feel he is now technically better than Froch. While it would be a hard fought victory I think he got what it takes to get a convincing UD

As in took cocaine and cheated on his partner.

Is talking boxing ever on your agenda Steffan or is simply referring to Froch as 'the slimester' more becoming of an apparent 34 year old, it's a good thing you don't want kids as they'd turn out an abomination.

That's pretty harsh and to be fair as someone who has three kids I have to say that almost every kid that isn't your own is an abomination. If I could get away with punching some of them in the face I would but instead have to hold back and give sweets to the bigger kids so they'll punch them instead - psychologically the interesting thing about this is that after they have been rewarded 4-5 times they almost become conditioned to smacking the annoying kids and do it regardless of the award. I may publish my findings somewhere, I guess here is as good a place as any.

Tricky with Chunky. More technically gifted than Froch, but doesn't have the engine or workrate and is waaaaaay too sloppy in fights re taking shots and soaking up punishment (especially for someone supposedly slick).

He has a much better chin that Groves but equally unsubstantial power.

So he won't keep Froch off and he won't avoid him. I could see a close decision going either way to be honest....

Sorry to get involved but it's his birth certificate that's most important. Joe's birth certificate will say born in England. We can all change our passports through immigration, but your birth certificate will always say where you were actually born.

Your passport will always say issued by UKPA though and, not matter what you try to change, whether born in London or Cardiff, it will always say British Citizen (unless you've changed citizenship to another non-UK country).

Does birth certificate say England/Wales, though? Not UK?? Legally neither E or W are countries.

I have two passports. Dual citizen.

Your birth certificate says the district you were born in and that's it, no mention of Wales, England or the UK.
