I totally understand that the majority of you may dislike or have never seen any form of Independent Wrestling so turn a blind eye to it but I truly believe this is such a powerful promo hyping something that we all share here...

This is Mike Quackenbush, founder of Chikara Pro and I quite frankly consider him to be one of the best storytellers in the business. Enjoy.

That was possibly the greatest Speech on the legitimacy of Professional Wrestling I've ever heard, I don't consider it a Promo as such just a very candid explanation on what Pro Wrestling is and what/why most people enjoy it, I just admit I don't identify with the whole X-Men/Justice League comparisons as I'm not into all that Comic jazz but I get and conpletely understand his angle.

Jeff Hardy is required to have another surgery on his knee and is likely to be out of action until late 2016. Not only does this almost kill any chance of a WWE return, but it could very well be the end of his career in regards to his age. He will almost certainly need to change his style if he were to return.

I think they've really botched Lesnar since the Undertaker matches, he's been used awfully. They HAVE to do better with somebody that good.

Lesnar vs Strowman is the worst idea ever.

Apparently Tyler Breeze has some big heat backstage after asking to leave house shows early. A lot of the guys see this as very disrespectful given he has just been called up to the main roster, and this explains why he's been jobbing to everyone under the sun recently.

I don't really have much interest in Lesnar vs Wyatt either. So far Bray Wyatt has had only one really good singles match that I can think of and that was against Daniel Bryan. He consistently underwhelms and I'm not sure Lesnar or Heyman's style is going to particularly mesh well with Wyatt's weird ramblings.

I'd much rather see Lesnar against a smaller opponent again, I think his best work comes against working with a smaller opponent, hence the fantastic match with CM Punk and the Triple Threat at the Royal Rumble. I think working with Strowman is a terrible idea, working with Wyatt not much better. I'm not looking forward to a feud between the Wyatt Family and Lesnar but either of those in the match with him makes it even worse. Never going to happen, but I'd much rather see a Lesnar/Harper match.

He had decent enough matches with Reigns and his matches with Ambrose were very enjoyable despite a rubbish story. He had 2 great matches with Cena (we'll forget about that cage match). My problem is thats its been two years since he had what you could call his best singles match, he hasnt really improved any since or been given any real chance to shine.

A feud with Lesnar would be interesting and certainly a contrast of styles, but not something I want to see right now. I would rather see Lesnar vs Rusev or Owens before Wyatt.

Reigns vs Wyatt was pretty good, certainly not really good. I enjoyed it, but it didn't for one moment make me think Wyatt was capable of putting on good matches. His matches were Ambrose I was really not a fan of, they were at best forgettable. The matches were John Cena again were okay, the cage one was awful, but the Wrestlemania one was decent enough.

I definitely don't think Heyman's style will mesh very well with Wyatt. They're very contrasting styles and not in a good way. Not to mention the build up will likely have the same problems as Wyatt vs Undertaker, which is a lack of interaction.

Wyatt is pretty much on the same level as a performer as he has been since he debuted, he hasn't been improving at all. I'd expect someone of his age and with those experiences, including working with John Cena, The Shield, the Undertaker, Kane to have started to get better. His in-ring work in particular is consistently disappointing. On the mic he is very inconsistent, sometimes his promos can be good and hit the mark and then sometimes they're a mess. I don't think he's booked perfectly by WWE, but for me there aren't many other people who are giving as many opportunities as Wyatt to succeed, and right now I'm not sure he has.

UCLA Neurology specialist has cleared Daniel Bryan so just down to WWE now.

Bryan recently underwent a battery of tests by a UCLA doctor to determine if he was fit to return to in-ring wrestling, and the doctor informed him he could.

The problem with Daniel Bryan, reportedly, is not that he isn't clear to wrestle, which he is. His brain right now is working fine, however the point is that the number of concussions he has had, means that in the future when his brain naturally starts to deteriorate, it was deteriorate at an advanced pace.

They're essentially trying to protect themselves from a media furore in the future if Daniel Bryan develops Alzheimers or Parkinsons early, or a worse case scenario; a Benoit incident.

The whole debate over concussions right now is very much resting around this, it's less about how healthy he is right now but whether putting him back in will make him very, very unhealthy in the future.

That's not strictly true. Signs would be there, which would be part of his current health and scans. The general message is true, but the recipe to get there isn't.

Obviously I'm not a doctor specialising in concussions, but from what I understand the tests they currently use cannot measure the fact that the healthy parts of the brains will cover for the unhealthy parts. That means whilst he is currently clear to wrestle, in the future, when his healthy parts degenerate as expected, the effects done to the parts of his brain that are unhealthy now will become pronounced.

I believe that this is where the big developments in concussion medicine is right now and WWE is taking precautionary measures with Daniel Bryan as one of their most well-known stars to avoid a huge PR scandal in the future.

Surely they can put a clause in his contract that he has to undergo mandatory testing every 3-4 months or so and if he starts to show signs of advanced deterioration then thats it, game over?

Well, that would first mean he has to sign a new contract, which he might not want to do.

Two, that would still likely lead to him leaving and wrestling elsewhere, which WWE don't want either.
