Best of a bad bunch? Empty Best of a bad bunch?

Afternon all,

Ok we all know that the different organisations are a joke in their own way but which would you have as your best of the bad bunch? It got me thinking after Bellew said that the WBO belt was still the one everyone wanted. How true is that today?

Cheers

All depends on who is holding it.

If Amir Khan holds the WBC and Floyd Mayweather holds the IBF the WBC might as well be the disneyland certificate for neat colouring in.

I hate the fact that there are 4 different organisations/associations/federations/councils, each with their own rules and regulations who are also not always willing to recognise other champions.
I think that they should all be banned and one set up in their place with 1 champion and the number 1 contenders get the fight by fighting the next best in the list. But hey that's in an ideal world. There's too much cash involved now for it to happen.

Bellew also said he was the nearest thing to unbeatable since Floyd Mayweather...

Probably WBC for me, but they all have their bad points.

Had he taken that punch less square I reckon he would have sparked out. The other kid looked like he had a canon packed in his left arm.

I'd say the IBF tend to be a little less embarrassing than the others.

Not a great deal in it in terms of how they operate. All self serving, corrupt and generally abysmal.

The WBC and WBA still hold more prestige based mainly for historical reasons.

I have generally found the WBC rankings tend to be the best, and by extension more competitive mandatory’s and better fights up the ladder.

The rest seem to throw out incomprehensibly obscure and bad mandatories on a regular basis.

If only 1 were to be retained, the WBC would be the least bad.
