He's good enough for Swansea if going to launch crosses in not if want to run in behind.

May aswell take him as it will be for free.

Good riddance.

Dr X has said there will be at least 2 more players in before window closes.

Bilic has said he wants five new signings.

Calleri, Santon, Ayew, Bacca, Lazaar/Olsson would be my guesses. Slimani or Mandzukic are probably also worthwhile shouts.

I would think we will stay in the market till the end of the window looking for loans and cheap deals regardless.

Prem clubs after Slimani, with Southampton being my bet, but I'm sure we'll have a sniff and a few others will too. Leicester have been linked with him nearly as long as we have.

I read that Martin Odegaard is interested in a move to Liverpool now Real Madrid are wanting to loan him out. Should have come when you have the chance to sign for us a couple of seasons ago, you little pr!ck.

Odegaard isn't very good anyway, they've admitted it was a mistake & Ancelotti labelled it a PR stunt. He's been pretty awful for Castilla. I presume he's now trying to put himself about, off the Madrid name, because it's not his performances that will attract anyone.

I remember him blathering on about what a big Liverpool fan he was then he f*cked and took the money instead of the possibility of actually playing some football. Dodged a bullet there

Bilic confirms Ayew and Masuaka very close to being West Ham players.

Its being reported that we won't buy Bacca cos we don't wanna pay out for both him and Ayew now that we cant sell Sakho. Cheap c*nts

Baston was excellent last season in La Liga scoring 18 goals which was 2 more than Gameiro who Atletico bought. The downside is the buyback clause, essentially it's a loan if he does well.

Llorente could well be suited to the Premier League as he's an old school centre forward, been a while though since his most prolific season back in 2012 when he got 29 in 53 games.

I'm happy so far, I think we could use a proper goalscorer up top to have had the best window possible. Bacca still sounds likely, and if you gave me Bacca up top with those options around him, and a chance to have fresher legs when competing in multiple competitions...well its better than I could have hoped.

We could then play either Bacca or Carroll (or in theory Ayew) up top, and have options of Payet, Lanzini, Feghouli, Ayew, Tore and then even Antonio, Valencia or Sakho still around. Worried about the full backs, although like the potential of the French lad we just bought.

With a midfield two from Noble, Kouyate, Nordtveit and Obiang, with young Oxford and even younger Quina possible deputies if desperate then the only place we look suspect is choosing between Byram and Antonio at right back. Its the best squad I'll ever have seen us have if Bacca comes in, thats for sure

#Nufc are in advanced negotiations with Everton over loan signing of left-back Brendan Galloway. #Efc want 7-figure fee, agreement close.

Not sure why on earth we signed Clark & bigged him up as being a versatile left sided defender & then go after Galloway. Probably pay over the odds for a loan, but clearly Dummett is shocking & Haidara is always injured

I would though say that West Ham are the most likely team to be amongst the top four outside of the traditional big four (yes I realise only 2 of the big four finished in the top four last year but Inexpect normal service to resume this year).

Our defence cant match the team from the chasing pack that broke into that top four last year. Spurs have a back five of quality, with clever midfielders to offset the defensive frailties that Walker and Rose have. In fact, its a bit of a back seven with how good Dier and Dembele can be for them, and the way they defend as a team is what makes them such a good side.

We've gone a bit Kevin Keegan - whilst I love Oggy and Reid, we look a side that thinks we might just try score 5 and let in 4.

More recent rumours:

Everton to bid for Lamine Kone. Guardian also said today that Everton bid £18m for Bolasie, but Palace want closer to £30m.

Everton should think about doing this in footsteps not strides. Bony, Remy, Nasri, both Sakho at our place, and possibly even Liverpool's Sakho depending on relationship there. I would guess that Mario Gomez is available, likely Mandzukic too, see if they can go for Gary Cahill if Chelsea so badly want Lukaku, Begovic too (vastly superior to Stekelenburg). Koeman must be disappointed so far
