happy days, he is getting stripped. If he has mental problems and he is messing with that dirt, I have no sympathy for him.

Only have to see Hatton, Calzaghe, Bruno and the original Tyson (not sure about the prime one) admitting / getting caught for coke to see that it is available and boxers can get tempted.

I guess from my side it is easy to be hypocritical of coke users as I've used it but didn't get the enjoyment lots of other people do.

It is being reported he failed the A test on 22nd September.  On 23rd September Tyson's team say Tyson Fury is medically unfit and postpone the fight again.

So both postponements occurred within 24 hours of failing a drugs test or being charged for failing a drugs tests.

Tyson Fury has admitted in the past to taking cocaine & tranquilisers to control his fluctuating mood swings including depression. So this failing a drugs test due to cocaine use fits in with the depression. There is no indication that Tyson Fury has ever wittingly used performance enhancing drugs - just look at that body of his and that attitude and that life style ... Deontay Wilder says Tyson Fury lacks self discipline and who can argue with that.

As it is Tyson Fury clearly needs time to get his head in order and in the meantime those belts needs to be taken away from him. Hopefully Fury will be back in a years time fighting Wilder and Joshua.

Fury has brought the sport of Boxing into disrepute, Sam Allardyce has done the same for Football and the Wanderers are on a downward slope.I'm glad I left Bolton before the rot set in.

As for whether cocaine is performance enhancing? It depends what part of your anatomy you put it on.

Certainly seems mote credible that fury would be done for recreational drugs rather than PEDs.

Did find the wording of Peter Fury's statement after Tyson pulled out weird. Thought it was strange he said "he cannot be held culpable" to describe the belts being lifted off him for depression. Guess he meant "he cannot be held culpable for any drugs he may have taken while depressed"

All we need now is his fight with Wlad to be made a No Contest and we can forget he was ever a world champion.

Fury is pretty young for a heavy....Just needs to sort himself out....Time isn't an issue..

I still have sympathy for Fury. He has clearly made some bad choices recently. However it is becoming increasingly difficult to defend his rights to retain his titles or not be stripped. Whether using cocaine is a consequence or cause of his difficulties matters little. Like all sportsmen he has a responsibility to ensure certain things don't go into his body. Cocaine is very much one of them and he has failed to do that. As such if the relevant governing bodies decide the price for that is being stripped he probably has to take that on the chin.

Pity, because as I have said throughout I'd much prefer belts to change hands in the ring, as I am sure all real fans would.

The belts will go but for traditionalists, he remains the champ until he's beaten (unless UKAD nail him or he officially retires).
