Dragons vs Edinburgh

Getting this one in early as I am currently working my notice and rather bored.

This is a big game for us. We really need a win to carry momentum into what are two crunch, back to back games against Worcester in December. If we win, it could really set our season up. Lose, and it is another momentum killer.

Hoping for a big crowd. Kids go free. Although sadly I will not be in attendance due to me having to attend my nephew's birthday in Reading

This is the Gwent team I would like put out:-

1. Tom Davies (yes I think he has played well in both games he has started this year. Very effective in the loose)

8. Ed Jackson (not been his biggest fan, but very much on form)

10. Angus O'Brien (let's hope it is the AOB who played against Connacht, not the Scarlets)

15. Carl Meyer

16. Rhys Buckley
17. Sam Hobbs/Phil Price (take your pick)
18. Craig Mitchell (never to be brought on)

20. Harrison Keddie (carried well against Scarlets and Leicester)
21.Tavis Knoyle (I think Charlie Davies is injured?)
22. Arwel Robson (it will no doubt be on of Kingsley's boys sadly)

Any Edingburgh fans on here? What sort of side can we expect from you?

You think he will make it to the second half? I'm going for a conservative 36.

Just checked, Manu has managed 13 games so far for Edinburgh - I wonder how many of those he has completed without injury?

Well it has to happen one day, surely.

It does seem like every match I've seen him in this season he's left the field injured, but he must have completed some of those 13 games?

I wouldn't put his game completion rate above 60 odd %, perhaps there is an Edinburgh geek/aficionado out there somewhere (RDW?) who could be more accurate.

Don't think I could put a % on it but it would be a high % compared to most other rugby players!

The pitch looks in a bit of a state already - could be a scrappy game

Good to get the try eventually - been a lot of huffing and puffing so far!

Not a lot Bradbury could have done there - it was clumsy though

It was under water in parts in the week.

They do tend to sand it a bit much for my liking.

Not pretty but he was airborne so there wasn't much chance of pulling out. Penalty probably fair enough though

So this week Edinburgh have decided to be good in attack but crap at everything else - no doubt next week will be the complete opposite!

Really need to sort out the lineout and reduce the penalty count.

How on earth was that turnover legal?

We're also not committing enough men to the breakdown.

The ref has obviously happy he'd released the tackle - it was s close one.

He should have been smashed away though - we're not committing enough numbers!

A bit more composure required from Edinburgh.

All a bit harum scarum and all over the place. Tackling seems to be pretty optional as well.

If either side can put a bit of control on the game then they will probably win. I imagine the coaches might be trying to impress that on the players at half time.

Still, it's been fun to watch.

That double clearout warranted a bit more of a look - looked like he was dumped on his shoulder / neck.

Commentators said it was fine!

He's not long out of school - he's only 19!

He might tour in the summer if/when Hogg is away with the Lions. He is only 19, but is skillful and deceptively quick for a lanky bloke.

Right, so the seven has done that twice now. He was the tackler, but the ruck had formed by the time he was on his feet - surely he can't just come in from an offside position?
