Your Fight of the Year Empty Your Fight of the Year

With the year almost up, it would be interesting to hear what fight/s should win this award.

For me I would go with Salido vs Vargas. Salido is rarely in a dull fight and this fight was so much fun to watch.

I think Frampton vs Cruz will be popular and whilst showed more skill, I rank the other higher on entertainment value.

Domestically it has to be Conlon vs Nelson.

Probably because I'm a huge Frampton fan, but I was on the edge of my seat for it and really enjoyed the contest

A great fight. I guess I would take two, B level fighters in a brawl than two A level fighters in a great fight. Just my preference but looking forward to the rematch.

I don't know who I would pick to win the rematch. I still think Carl, but if Santa Cruz gets off to a faster start, he could take it.

I wouldn't be surprised to see these two having a rubber match late next year.

Doran vs Keeler might get a shout for domestic FOY. They may even give it to Gavin vs Eggington (I'd go with Nelson vs Conlan, though).

International FOY will probably go to Salido vs Vargas. Thurman vs Porter might get an honourable mention. Bellew vs Makabu, also.

Those highlighted in bold above would be my choices - Nelson v Conlan has to be cert for domestic FOTY unbelievable. Frampton v LSC deserves a mention but as Adam alluded too may have been more down to edge of the seat and then relief wanting Frampton to win.

Chocolatito vs Cuadras for me. Epic war for all 12 rounds.
