WWE Hall of Famer Jim Myers aka George "The Animal" Steele has passed away. Steele had been dealing with a number of health issues in recent years and entered hospice recently. He was 79 years old.

Ivan Koloff has also passed away aged 71 after a long battle with cancer. He's a former WWWF Champion, famously ending Bruno Sammartino's 2000+ day reign.

Its a tough time for wrestling.

I interviewed him with Adam for the v2 Wrestling Podcast. Fun guest, nice man, slightly crazy. You could easily fit his "wrestling" talent in a very small thimble, but he had the psychology down completely and a lot of today's performers could learn a few things from that.
